“Every story has more than one side, like a crystal that captures and reflects different colors of light. Do not take for granted what you think you know, for until you hold the entire jewel in your palm, the temptation is to fall prey to illusion and deception.” This is a story of the Dark Ones… Until her.
Ava Monroe is a talented geneticist who holds the key to the vampire race’s future…and perhaps her own as well.
Their attraction is explosive from the first. She would do anything to have him. He would sacrifice all to protect her.
But will their love triumph over seemingly impossible odds as they battle enemies new and old? Especially the demons from Ryu’s past? And deep within his heart?

Whew! This book is so good you won’t be able to put it down till the end! Ava is perfect for Ryu even though he knows he’s never going to have her or anyone for that matter, but she has other plans and will not give up! Ava is in lust from the first sniff of this magnificent man sitting next to her and after his simple touch she’s mush and by the time she finally gets that first kiss… This is a sizzling smoking hot read that will make you laugh, tear up and get your juices flowing all in one amazing book! I loved it! I can’t wait to read Aja James next book in this Dark Ones Series!
This is the first book by Aja James that I have read…which means I am coming into this series somewhere in the middle or more toward the end. Most definitely this is a standalone because I had done zero research before I read it and didn’t even realize there had been two previous books. So this was easy to jump in to.
Also to note…its been a while since I’ve picked up a paranormal read. Sometimes I find them almost too far fetched and that makes reading them less enjoyable for me. Honestly, I didn’t feel that with Dark Desires. Really the only thing that really got to me was the language used. I understand that the female lead character is a genius…I get it. But really those parts made me skim over the top of it to get to the next part. They did nothing to enhance the story for me…especially when said leading lady is then falling head over heels in love. Like goofy love. Maybe I don’t know enough geniuses…but the idea of insta lust/love for them seems a bit far fetched.
That being said…this was a pretty enjoyable read for me. I was able to follow along and even after reading find myself wanting to know more about the Pure/Dark Ones. Sex scenes were nice and hot and most specifically what I enjoyed about Ryu and Ava’s relationship was how reluctant Ryu was to get involved. That anticipation was on point!
There were some great secondary characters in this story, most notable being Ava’s mom, who gave me several laughs throughout the book.
Overall I wasn’t disappointed in this read and it has definitely intrigued me to pick up the first two books and also to continue with the series.
Giving Dark Desires 4 stars.
“I was human once. Born to a prostitute, made into a whore, and trained to be a killer…you can have me anyway you want me. As long as you want me. As hard as you want. As deep as you want. I won’t stop until you tell me to…claim me if you dare…”
Ryu has become a member of my VILF (Vamp I’d Like to F*ck) list, and OMG is he over the top smexxy! Run, don’t walk, and read this series! I’m already devouring the next installment…
Mercy but this was an explosive read! Ryu and Ava’s chemistry was a time bomb ticking. Ryu, the Dark One known as the Assassin, and Ava, the brilliant geneticist. Their story is fantastic! Ryu is so quiet compared to Ava, but they’re oh so great together. Ryu’s background brought tears to my eyes, so heartbreaking. Ava’s, on the other hand, was heartwarming.
Each new character introduced in this series brings a new piece to the puzzle and I’m having so much fun arranging these pieces in my head as I read each book. With each book, the plot continues to thicken. These books have sucked me in and devoured me. There is so much emotion from these characters that you feel it pouring off the pages.
This is a great series and I am absolutely loving each and every book. This is one of those series that I will read again, and again, and again.
Warning for potential readers, there is implied sexual abuse/rape of a minor but no details written. To me, this is necessary for the reader to understand what makes the character, well, to put it simply, the character.
I’m enjoying the Pure/Dark Ones series by Aja James. I wish though I could find time to read the books back to back since I can’t at this time, I have a plan to read one book of the series every month until I’m caught up. Hopefully, I can achieve my goal. Please cross your fingers for me. Between my youngest daughter’s soccer schedule and my oldest daughter finishing up soccer and going into softball, my plate is full.
Dark Desires introduced me to new characters who I either hated or loved. A lot of readers may like the female heroine, Ava Monroe, but I found her hard-headed at times. She was book smart (she is a geneticist who is a genius at her job), but she lacks street smarts. She didn’t listen to Ryu, especially when it came to staying away from dangers in Japan. He told her to stay indoors at night and also not to go to the research center. She didn’t even listen to another person when it came to warning her about one of her co-workers. She was frustrating at times. I did enjoy her humor in the book and how she spoke her mind out loud, even when she didn’t mean to, especially with Ryu.
A sexy Dark One’s Assassin who wears leather and rides a motorcycle…sign me up! I fell hard for the male hero, Ryu Takamurais, immediately in the story. Who wouldn’t want to, especially how Ava reacts to him the first time she meets him on the plane to Japan. She describes him as a Dark Chocolate Fudge Arabian Stallion, which is an amusing and descriptive way of describing Ryu.
These two characters are complete opposite’s of each other, and I’ve always loved that trope. I think it’s due to my husband and I being complete opposites of each other. There’s also an instant attraction between the two, even though Ryu is determined to warn her off. Aja James tells Ryu’s past in the book by giving us glimpses into his past life and how he became an Assassin and why he’s never known, love. He had a dark past, and I felt for his character. He deserved happiness, and he’ll find it with Ava. Yes, there is a HEA with these two characters, but after dealing with some villains. One villain works closely with Ava, and she doesn’t know it, and the other isn’t introduced until later on in the story. I was more scared of the villain introduced later on in the story since that evil person was holding someone captive.
You not only get Ryu’s and Ava’s POVs in the story but another character. This character is being tortured in the story, and I immediately wanted to know who it was and if someone was going to save that person. It was hard to read that character’s parts for what was being done to that person. Aja James left me in suspense with this character on finding out who it is and if he/she would survive.
Aja James is a master at storytelling, and this is only the third book I’ve read in the series. I can’t wait to read more of this series and find out where Aja James is taking this series. She has a way with words on describing in detail like you are there in person with the characters. Now, I want to go to Japan because of this book. My husband lived there for six years when he was in the Navy and bragged how amazing it was there.
Next month, I’ll dive into the fourth book, but in the meantime, if you haven’t read these books, I highly recommend you do. If you are a fan of J.R. Ward and Christine Feehan, then you’ll enjoy the Dark/Pure Ones series. Fair warning, though, that you need to read in order.
Soooo freaking awesome….I think this is my favorite so far…On to the next one!!!
Ryu Takamura is the Dark One known as the Assassin. In fifteenth century Japan he was “raised the first ten years of his life in a whore house and abandoned thereafter at a Shinto Shrine.” In present-day Japan he is a ninja vampire who dresses and speaks with extreme care. “Truth be told, he disdained sharing any part of himself with others; including his body.”
Ava Monroe is a geneticist with an I.Q. over 200. She has multiple degrees and teaches. Ava was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She has a loving family. She is awkward socially. She can’t handle “simple human interaction with aplomb.” Ava avoids feelings “whenever she could because emotions weren’t logical, and she very much preferred logic.”
Ava and Ryu first meet on a plane heading to Japan. She has an immediate attraction to his smell — pheromones. While in Japan their paths cross three more times. Each time Ava’s expectations rise higher. Ryu parting words should leave no doubt that her expectations will not be fulfilled. He believes “to desire was to want. To want was to expose oneself to weakness. Weakness that could be used to bring endless pain and torment. And it all began with pleasure. Pleasure was addictive. Pleasure spawned desire.”
Ava is doing scientific research at the University of Tokyo. She is at the Biotech Center helping to find “the right combination of genes that could cure or prevent debilitating diseases.” Ryu’s mission from the Dark Ones Queen is to “seek and destroy anything and anyone related to Ava Monroe’s genetic engineering project.” Yet Ryu protects Ava by ensuring she stays home the night he blows up the lab. Ava forgot her backpack, phone and computer at the Biotech Center. She leaves her home to go get it. Will she die during the explosion? Can Ryu save her in time?
Dark Desires is a spectacular novel. It touches so many emotions and handles them very well. Ava and Ryu are perfect for each other. She is straight forward. He views his existence from a child’s viewpoint of abandonment. He sees himself as unloveable and a killer. Ava’s mom is a hoot. She provides a break from the tension between Ava and Ryu. The description is superb. The dialogue is realistic to the characters’ identities. The pace is emotionally charged. The plot is well thought out. Now to head to the next book, Dark Pleasures.
The author provided me with an electronic copy of her book in exchange for an unbias and honest review.
4.25 “Dark Chocolate” Stars
This was another great addition to the series. The writing is as always, superb. The reason for a 4.25* over a 5*… Well… IDK… Maybe it’s just… ME.
I’m in a funk, I guess. I kinda feel things wrapped up a little too easily for Rhu & Ava. I didn’t feel their connection as intensely as the previous couples books. I missed all the other characters popping in & out. I felt Rhu’s past could have been dug into deeper. The climax could have been extended. I wanted to spend more time with them in their world. IDK, I know I’m being a hardAss… I just wanted…
MORE. Maybe I’m just Greedy!
Because… This Author. Can. Deliver! Big. Time! Now don’t go thinking this story wasn’t really good…
Rhu & Ava’s story was still great. No argument, there. I just wasn’t Blown Away like in the previous two books. I still loved this book. Hell, if Ms. James shits on paper or a Kindle screen, I will still read it. I will still toot every horn this series has & then some. Cause there are still great stories to come. Soon. Just wait!
I graciously received a free copy for this ARC of this book & would like to thank the author. I voluntarily chose to post a review of my Honest Opinion of this book with No Influence or Interference from any company or person.
Dark Desires is a captivating book written by Aja James. Although this book is part of a series, this one is clearly a stand alone book. I did not read any of the other books and never felt like I was missing anything from not having read the others. The author came up with a intricate plot that followed along a nice pace. I never felt like the book was dragging out nor did I ever feel like the author was rushing me through the story. There were a few nice twists hidden within the story that I truly enjoy. I found this book was different from a lot of books out there, finding a different approach to the paranormal aspect. Be aware, this book also packs a punch in the steam department and has some hot scenese thrown in for good measure.
Ava is not your usual female lead. Not often do you find a female brainiac who is strong willed and speaks her mind the way she does. She is rather unique and rolls with the punches! I really enjoyed her a lot. She knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it, no matter what! Ryu is also not your typical male lead, but just as adorable and likable. He is probably one of my favorite male characters in some time. These two play well of each other and have quite the explosive chemistry.
I admit this book was a blast to read and had it all. Lots of action, romance, steam and lots of paranormal. Even though I didn’t read the other books, there is a good chance I will pick them up since I really enjoyed this one a lot.
Ryu Takamura is a 600 year old Dark One Assassin; trained in the way of the shadow. His mission – find and destroy all evidence of a project to develop a nee and improved vampire that would interrupt the balance and destroy man kind. Ava Monroe is a talented scientist recruited under a guise to help develop advanced regeneration of wounds. Possibly curing a multitude of illnesses. Ryu must destroy and eliminate everyone involved in this project including Ava however something about her begins to take his focus for the first time off his mission. He must destroy this weakness or forever be lost. I felt this was a decent addition to the series but it felt a bit shorter then the other two. the chemistry of Ava and Ryu was good but a bit forced at sometimes. I enjoyed the resurgence of Inanna and Gabriel continuing on with their journey of finding her parents. I also enjoyed the back end of Ryu’s story and his struggle with his father. Will his father be his enemy or his ally? Will Inannas Parents rekindle their love or will her father die without seeing her again? I give this installment 4/5
Dark Desires is book three in the Pure / Dark Ones series. The world within this series is rather large, with many characters that are important to the stories. Because of that, in the first two books, I found myself having a little difficulty following along, remembering who was who and so forth. However, I didn’t have that problem with this book. Apart from Ryu and Ava there were really only a few characters from the previous books in this story, as well as some new characters, but I just felt this one flowed easier for me.
I absolutely loved Ava and Ryu. Ava is incredibly smart and she basically just says exactly what she is thinking, even if she doesn’t mean to. So when it came to her feelings for Ryu, from the very beginning, she’d just flat out say what was on her mind. Ryu was more reserved with his feelings and that primarily was due to his upbringing. He didn’t have it easy. His mother was a prostitute and he witnessed too much at a very young age. He didn’t know who his father was and his mother wouldn’t tell him. And even though he seemed to want to dismiss his feelings for Ava, he couldn’t.
Ava’s work as a geneticist was extremely important to her not just because her own father was living with Parkinson’s disease, but it was her father that really fueled her desire to find a cure for any number of degenerative diseases. And vampires weren’t even something she thought existed. So when she finds out it doesn’t really frighten her. She’s more intrigued than anything.
Dark Desires really held my interest. And as much as I loved book one, Pure Healing, I think this one might just be my favorite so far. So if you enjoy paranormal romances with some action, mystery and suspense, I think you will enjoy Dark Desires.
**I received a digital copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I really loved this story about a paranormal romance between a dark one and a human girl, the hero is a broken soul and the heroin is a brave and smart woman….they make an explosive couple, that been said, I must add that I’ll be looking forward to read more about some new characters introduced in this book.
Dr. Ava Monroe is traveling to Tokyo, Japan to do research for a project that she is working on, Ava is a geneticist. She gets lucky as her traveling companion, Ryu Takamura, the dude sitting beside her is very good looking and hot. He is so hot he will make your tongue come out and slap your brains out. Ava is a very intelligent person but when it comes to hot men she ends up with diarrhea of the mouth.
Ryu Takamura is a vampire and the Dark Ones’ Assassin and guess who his next target is? Ryu is very good at what he does and never misses his target but will his heart let him take out his next target or will he try to save her? Ryu has a very good heart but the way he was raised and the things that he was taught has made him the person he is today, a killer, well, not unlike anyone else of course but can one woman change his heart and mind and show him a different way?
I loved the way Ava and Ryu interacted with each other and the roles that they played each knowing what they wanted and being strong enough to go after what they wanted but at the same time thinking about the other person instead of their selves. I loved that Ava would get so flustered when she was with Ryu that she would lose control of her mouth. I loved the scene where they were drinking tea and she thanked him for warming her up.
I love this new twist that Aja has on the vampires with the Pure Ones and the Dark Ones. I have really and truly loved all three books and if I had to pick a favorite I don’t think that I could as they have all been really and truly amazing reads with new characters that keep popping up of whose stories I can’t wait to read as well as see more of the old characters too. I can’t wait to read the next book Dark Pleasures in the Pure/Dark Ones series.
If you love vampires and hot guys then give this series a try as I don’t think you will regret it.
In a word: wowza!
What to even say…? I’ve read the first 3 books in this series, and thus far, they keep getting better and better!
This book centers around Ryu, a Dark One nicknamed “The Assassin.” Ryu was born to a human mother in Japan in the 15th century; as he was raised in the western world’s equivalent of a high-class brothel of the time, he was shown little affection and did not know his father’s identity during his decidedly difficult childhood. As a pre-adolescent, he trained as a ninja, and studied under an entity simply known as “The Master” for many years where he learned that attachments to other beings were weaknesses that he must avoid at all costs. Enter Ava (~500 years later), a smart and sassy scientist who has been brought onto a team to study biological samples that show tremendous promise in the fight against disease and aging… but they aren’t like any human cells she has ever seen before. In order to participate in this ground-breaking research, she is sworn to secrecy (and to not ask questions!), which doesn’t sit well with her, but she is driven by a personal mission to help her father who is suffering from Parkinson’s Disease.
Ryu and Ava “meet” on the plane ride from NYC (where they both reside) to Tokyo (site of Ava’s research and a place that holds many memories for Ryu). Ryu has been instructed by the Dark Ones’ Queen to determine what biological materials they are using, to confiscate them, and to destroy any research that may have been performed on them…. along with the researchers themselves. Sparks immediately fly between the two, and Ryu has to wrestle with emotions he thought he had long buried.
What I liked about this book:
– HOT chemistry from the start!
– Ava is a sassy, no-holds-barred woman who asks for what she wants
– Ryu is definitely the “strong silent” and mysterious type, which made the story more fun because of the contrast between the 2 main characters
– The action was fantastic!
– We learn more about other characters we have met in the previous books
What I didn’t like as much:
– Not so much that I didn’t like it, but there were a couple of parts that seemed incomplete (specifically about one of the “good guys” who was undercover and the other researchers on the team)
This was another fabulous installment of a hard-to-put-down series that I cannot wait to continue reading about!!
Plot — 4.5/5
Main Characters — 5/5
Steam Level — 3.5/5
Language — Not egregious
Violence — Some (action sequences and flashbacks)
POV — 3rd person throughout
Number three in the Pure/Dark Ones series, Dark Desires has one of my favorite heroines ever in Ava Monroe. The girl is hilarious: smart, curvy, self-effacing, turns to blubbering idiot around handsome men. Cue Ryu Takamura, assasin for the Dark Ones. We got a glimpse of Ryu in the second book, Dark Longing, and in learning more about him and his origins here, you can’t help but connect to him.
The budding relationship between Ava and Ryu was touching and funny – I loved the way Ava opened up to him, even in spite of her own embarrassment. She speaks before she thinks, charming both Ryu and the reader. When we meet her mother, we see where she gets that charm. My favorite part of this story, though, was the plot: Ava isn’t aware that she’s being used to further an inhumane experiment led by the mysterious “A. Medusa”. Ryu’s instructions are to end the experiment no matter what it takes – even if he must kill Ava in the process.
There’s explosions, a kidnapping, torturing of a mysterious prisoner, shadow assassins, two-faced tricksters, and a love story – what more could you want?
The book manages to answer some questions raised in the two previous installments while continuing to set up mysteries that won’t unfold until future books. None of the Pure/Dark Ones stories are completely self-contained, so even while we get to witness Ryu and Ava’s story, we also learn a bit more about things that are going on outside of their love bubble. Such is the genius of Aja James in that she rewards us with bits and pieces while at the same time keeping us wanting more. It’s cruel, really.
I really wish i could give this more than five stars , its my favourite of the series so far & at times almost had me in tears . Ryu Takamura is an assassin for the dark ones , his latest mission brings him into contact with Ava Monroe , who has been hired to help with groundbreaking DNA splicing in Japan but its so much darker than that . Ryu finds himself intensely attracted to Ava & the feelings are more than returned but Ryu is also struggling with being back in Japan & the memories he locked away are starting to surface . Ianna & Gabriel turn up to help Ryu on his mission & unexpectedly uncover another secret while helping keep Ava safe Again Aja James does a brilliant job of telling Ryu & Ava’s story but then gently drags threads from the previous books into it ,each time you start a new book you know a little twist from the previous ones is going to pop up. Ava Monroe is probably my favourite character so far or maybe its her mother , this book will have you on the edge of your seat at times & others almost in tears .bring on the next one i can’t wait
Title: Dark Desires

Format: Ebook – ARC
Pages: 331
Rating: 5
Heat: 5
Thoughts: Damn, if I had the funds and the time I would so take a trip to Japan. The visuals and the characters had me wanting to experience it for real. It was a beautiful love story that will have you hanging on to every word until the last one is read (barring stupid life getting in the way lol). Ava was funny, quirky, yet very intelligent, I couldn’t help but want her as my friend. Horny, super genius with no filter but so open and honest, almost innocent. Then she’d get feisty and as much as it seemed adorable it also a little scary that this small woman could fight so hard. Truly amazing. And let’s not forget Ryu, damn, I so call dibs. A fractured man with a heart of gold, made me jealous of Ava that she got him before me lol. I very much look forward to reading the next book!
Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work and chose to write a review.
I. Am. TELLING YOU… read this series!!
There’s Ryu, a shadow assassin and member of the Queen’s Chosen. He’s tasked with annihilating the threat to his kind that has popped up in Japan. Ava is his way in, a target, and someone he didn’t expect to affect him so strongly.
I absolutely adored the way the author explored these characters. Ava is a socially awkward genius who speaks her mind, even when it’s cause for embarrassment. Ryu is a sweet, broken man who can’t see how truly worthy he is. Ava brings out the best in him and he in her. Their love is almost instantaneous and energetic and profound. Their connection was brilliant and I enjoyed every moment spent with them and experiencing their firsts.
My only regret was that Ryu’s mom’s death wasn’t a prolonged, tortuous affair. That woman deserved no mercy!
Honestly, I’m sure I have more questions and concerns burrowed in my subconscious, but it doesn’t even matter. I WILL be reading the next book. I WILL be seeking more and more answers. I WILL fall deeper and deeper in love with this series and these characters. If you’re a fan of paranormal romance, sick action scenes, and combustible chemistry between glorious people, you need to read these books!
I have to admit that when I found out that this was Ryu’s story, I wasn’t particularly excited. Part of that was because there are a lot of story lines throughout the first 2 books in this series and Ryu seemed to have a smaller part to play. As one of the Dark Ones, the quintessential vampires of our lore, he is the assassin and he was sent to evaluate and possibly kill Ava, a young, brilliant doctor/scientist unwittingly working for the bad guys, including the newly revealed Medusa. There are immediate sparks and some points where I was snort laughing because Ava, genius that she is, apparently can’t keep her words just in her mind. I really adored her.
Remember when I wrote that I wasn’t excited about Ryu? Well, Aja James changed my mind! I loved his character- his broken parts as well as his protective, loving parts. We get more of his story through flashbacks and I typically don’t like this vehicle very much but in this story, it worked. My heart broke for what Ryu had to go through and I loved Ava for him- I loved how she persisted in pulling him out of his horrible past and into what will be a better future.
The underlying arc of the story, the issues between the Pure/Dark ones and the bad guys they are going against (currently still unknown in large part) continues to unravel slowly, making it so that I am chomping at the bit to finish this series. (sadly, life is preventing me for doing all the reading I would like to do!).
The author, Aja James, writes beautifully, providing a lot of descriptors that bring the reader into the environment of the story. There’s passion and a seductiveness to these characters that really makes them memorable throughout the story and the series. I loved revisiting Inanna and Gabriel and look forward to reading Devlin’s story. Bring it on! I can’t wait to sit down and get entrenched in the next installment!
ALRIGHT,IT`S HAPPENING AGAIN!I am in love…
Fast-paced plot with hardcore action, mystery, dark fantasy and a sizzling romance with main-characters to die for!In “Dark Desires” the third instalment in the Paranormal “Pure/Dark Ones”-series the author takes us to Tokyo Japan with the quirky scientist Ava Monroe and the Dark One assassin Ryu Takamura who has the mission to destroy anything related to Ava`s science project. It will make for a stimulating and unforgettable adventure!Aja James already from the first page lured me into her world and made me never want to leave it.Ahh this author sure knows what she is doing and i really love her for it!
Ava Monroe is passionate, bright and so bubbly and fun!She is very much intelligent and passionate about her work of science and truly want to make the world better with the help of it.I adored her from the first page, she is one of those heroines who wears her heart on her sleeve and isn`t afraid to get after what she wants.Once she knows she wants Ryu and that he wants her back, she never gave up.She was stubborn and fierce in her feelings about him and dared him to love her and showed that he was worthy of love. The way she openly lusted after Ryu made me snicker with laughter all over the place, especially when they were on that plane together!GOD could she have been more obvious,LOL!Her chemistry with Ryu is the high-light in this story for me!Every glance, word and touch literally burned me alive and made me fan all over.
Have i ever mentioned that the name Ryu is my favourite name in japanese dramas and anime?Probably haven`t but its the truth.Ryu Takamura had spent his human child-hood on a brothel and later on trained as a ninja until he got turned into a vampire by his master. In this story he is one of the Chosen guards of the Dark One Queen and a lethal assassin capable of mastering sex and elimination. He was very cool and aloof, distrustful and also tortured. There was this rubbing pain in him that was obvious when he tried to deny himself of loving Ava.When his past got mentioned i feared for the innocent boy he had been who loved his mother unconditionally. The inhuman way she tried to use him made me want to murder that bitch and i am so relieved that the author didn`t make that scene graphic as she did in “Pure Healing”.Ryu and Ava were opposites,he was cold while she was warm and while he didn`t trust their connection she eagerly accepted it.The scene where he tells her that she looks like a bumble bee made me laugh off my bed and swoon afterward since Ryu love bumble bees! How cute is that! Ryu never could turn his back on Ava or deny her and i loved that.It was also cute seeing how flustered he was by Ava`s mothers attention. There is something special about japanese heroes and Ryu was no exception.I loved how deadly and badass he was,his possessiveness and protective nature when it came to his Ava and his fierce longing and passion for her!Ryu and Ava made me sigh with happiness and that ending made me cry happy tears for them!
I did suspect that the prisoner was Inanna`s father and god do i feel sorry for him.I also wonder if his mate,Inanna`s mother is alive? It was fun watching Gabriel and Inanna fight side by side as true partners.I became very giddy when Rain and Valerius got mentioned, gahhh i miss these two.Devlin is another color-ful character i want to get to know and i am happy to see that his book is next! How happy i am that i have so much to look forward to read.
