Dark Daddy Valentine

I love this author she has great writing style that I enjoy. Her characters are always well developed and engaging and the chemistry is hot and steamy. The storyline flowed smoothly from beginning to the end.

He can train the party right out of her

Dark Daddy Valentine is a short story about a BDSM “Daddy” relationship that starts between two neighbors, Kane and Stacy. Kane is thirty-five years old who comes from a poor immigrant background to starting his own media company, making very successful video games. So he has money and status and also a darker hidden side. Stacy is twenty-four years old, works at the Blue Lagoon hair salon and spa and lives with her best friend Vivian in the house Vivian inherited from her grandmother. Stacy and Vivian did not go to college and instead spend their time working and partying.
One afternoon after a particularly late night, or early morning depending on how you look at it, of partying Stacy is awoken by a construction crew starting to work a couple doors down. Let’s just say she is either hung over or still drunk…………..or maybe a mix of both. So she decides to go and see if she can get the crew to stop work and maybe bring back a cute construction guy as her reward. What she gets instead is an introduction to Kane and a few bloody mary’s, along with the crew being told to call it a day. Shortly after meeting Kane is realizing that he wants Stacy and Stacy is realizing that she is having some reactions to what Kane says and does. Before she leaves Kane tells her that he can train her to which she says “Like a dog?”. She does think about things and when Valentine’s Day comes around the following week, with the mysterious construction project completed, Stacy is standing at Kane’s door. He has wooed her in spectacular fashion with many flowers, a lot of chocolate and an invitation to join him for dinner at his house that evening. What follows before they barely even get a bite is an evening Stacy will never forget and that they both will repeat over and over again.

So well I liked this story and characters I also felt like it was missing part of the actual story. One moment they are just getting started on her training and then next thing it is six months later and about to get a whole lot more serious. There was just no build up in the relationship which was a shame to me. But I still enjoyed the book as it was.

Fantastic! That was some seriously hot daddy action. It made some things tingly, for certain. She may not be a spoiled rich girl but Stacy is definitely in need of some structure. Stacy is making some really risky, dangerous and irresponsible choices. Kane is looking for his special someone. Kane doesn’t know Stacy very well and after the construction company is making so much noise Stacy says that she’s sick and please stop the noise. Dane decides to ask her over to his house to get to know her better. Kane introduces Stacy to BDSM with a daddy/little dynamic. He introduces her to spanking and restraints. He’s hoping that by Valentines Day he will have his special someone in Stacy. Wonder if he gets his Valentines Wish??? Read this and see. I enjoyed this story. The characters were interesting and different. Yes, there is some BDSM, but it’s lite and doesn’t overpower the story.

Stacy is in a rut and is trying to figure out what she wants in life. Right now, that mostly looks like work and partying. She meets her next-door neighbor Kane and he makes her feel things she’s never felt before. Stacy is a good girl, but might want to be a bad girl, especially when Kane says he can “train it out of her”, She isn’t a dog, but maybe she would like him to show her what he means, after all, he’s dark and delicious. After Stacy has Valentine’s Day dinner and a surprise with Kane, she decides that she wants more.

Kane is looking for someone special. He isn’t prepared for that person to possibly be his neighbor. Kane knows that Stacy is a good girl trying to be bad, but he is ok with that since he has a way to help her. He invites her over for a Valentine’s Day she’ll never forget. Hopefully, they will both get what they need by the end of the night.

Stacy’s best friend Vivian was awesome. She was supportive and understanding of Kane and Stacy’s relationship. I loved how Kane was so sweet with Stacy but also alpha. Their happy ever after made me smile. I wish that it was a little longer with an epilogue further out, but I’m ok with how it ended. I recommend reading this book.

OM/YW romance. Quick read that will leave you satisfied. Perfect for a lazy afternoon. Kane and Stacy were good together. Good read.

Sometimes you just need a crazy over-the-top read to get you through the day. That’s what this was for me. It’s short and sweet and dirty and exactly what I needed to decompress and just go away for a while in my mind. You’ll be left wanting to call everyone Daddy!
