She’s searching for her knight in shining armour.
I’m convinced the stars don’t have a say in matters of the heart.
Finlay Jensen
My reputation as a ladies man has worked well for me, both personally and professionally, until I’m punished with an entertainment piece. After almost getting arrested while working on my last story, my editor is forcing me to write up a piece on the biggest talent … biggest talent in modern dance, Amelie Winters.
Watching her twirl around the studio is enchanting. This gorgeous, tiny creature captures my attention without even trying. I quickly realise she’s my complete opposite, yet it only makes me want her more. She’s shy, inexperienced, a hopeless romantic…so wrong for a man like me.
But there’s a fire in her eyes when she looks at me that I can’t ignore.
Can her obsession with the stars have any truth to it? Is it fate that has me fascinated by someone so wrong for me?

This story is beautiful and exciting. It’s a very well written story of love at first sight and instant attraction, proving that sometimes things are written in the stars. This was my first time reading this authors work and I will be reading more.
Not gonna lie, this could have been an outstanding 5+ read with a bit more development but that’s not the choice that was made so I’ll tell you that it is still a pretty great 4+ star story! Yes, it’s insta but written well. It wasn’t eyeroll inducing and it made sense, so props for that. I enjoyed the chemistry between Amalie and Finlay and their story fit quite well with the Written In The Stars concept.
I’m a huge believer in destiny and fate so I’m really enjoying this series/world/collaboration these authors have put together so far.
This was the perfect swoony story I needed to read right now. Finley and Amalie leap from the pages and straight into my heart. This story has heat and passion and you can’t help but root for their HEA.
Amelie Winters is a dancer. Finlay Jensen is an investigative journalist who had to write a socialite piece as part of his punishment from his boss at the newspaper he works for.
Immediately Amelie runs from him even after feeling a connection to Finlay.
Finlay feels this attraction to Amelie and puts those thoughts out of his mind because she’s just a job.
What happens when those lines are blurred? Will they be able to get past secrets? Will Fate play a big part in putting them in each others paths? Will an Aries and Virgo be a match made in heaven?
Fin and Amelie are super sweet. Fin is taken with Amelie right away and tries his best to make her see who he is regardless of him being a journalist. Advised that he would have to get her story, he doesn’t want to but then he falls for her and its game on. Amelie is everything to him and when his editor makes a huge mistake, poor Fin gets the brunt of it and has to make it up to her. Like the written in the stars series can you horoscope sign really make a difference.
Amazing. I devoured this. This is a new author for me but now I’m hooked. The writing was flawless in the way that it flowed and captured me form beginning to end. Fin is the ultimate non-believer in astrology while Amelie is but boy, did they make the perfect pair. Who would have thought a Virgo and Aries could be such a perfect match?! I love that even though Fin was not the relationship type, according to him, he understood that this was different and he told Amelie exactly how he felt. It’s sweet and caring and a whole lot sexy!
This is my first book by this author, but it will not be my last. This humorous and amazing story captivated me from the very beginning. The protagonists are both given time to show their feelings and let their insecurities shine through.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
Daring to Love is book #3 in the Written in the Stars series. All are stand alones. I am new to Karen Ferry and was excited to read this book. I found it to be well written with all of the feels. I really enjoyed it.
Entertaining fast sexy read. Loved the characters and storyline. Many lol moments. Kept my interest throughout. A fantastic must read book.
4.5 “Dancing”
I LOVED this enchanting, some-what angsty, short but sweet novella in the Written in the Stars series by Karen Ferry!!! Amelie in particular stole my heart from the start! Finlay? Not so much….but he definitely grew on me and I ended up LOVING him, as well! I ESPECIALLY loved when Fin showed his true colours with his boss, I cheered so loud (no spoilers ) And as always, Ms. Ferry does an exceptional job on the sexy-time scenes, handling everything PERFECTLY!!!
All-in-all, Daring to Love is a well-written, adorable, cute and fun, slightly angsty little romance that was easy to read. My ONLY complaint? It wasn’t long enough….I wanted sooooooo much more!
5 DANCING STARS!! Wow….another great story in the Written In The Stars series. Finlay and Amelie story is perfect, it has all the feels, with a little bit of mystery and a whole lot of love. Looking for a fantastic novella to make you smile….look no further. This is my first book Karen Ferry and I can’t wait to read more.
Karen Ferry is a new to me author and I completely fell in love while reading this story. Amalie and Finlay’s story is definitely one for the stars.
Amalie is a dancer, she is private, she is smart, strong, and gorgeous. Finlay is a journalist, he is protective, passionate, sweet, and loving. When Finlay is tasked to write a story on Amalie, she wants nothing to do with him, she doesn’t want to be interviewed, however, they spend time together, they get to know each other and from there sparks begin to fly.
Amalie and Fin had chemistry from the start. They were drawn to each other. Each of them brought out something in the other and made them a better person. Their story was believable from the start, it progressed at a natural pace and never felt rushed by any means.
Daring To Love is truly magical and Amalie and Finlay’s romance was truly written in the stars. A MUST READ novella!

Loved Finlay and Amelie’s story! Well written and heartfelt! Their connection was strong and powerful and their story was heartwarming!
Daring to Love is book #3 (Aries) in the Written In The Stars series, and I am absolutely loving this series!!! The concept that 12 amazing authors coming together and each writing one book that is centered around a zodiac sign is 100% unique and challenging! Daring to Love in is just as perfect as the first two books in its own unique way. It focuses on Amelie who is a dancer and Finlay a journalist who is sent by his boss to write an article on her even though she is an extremely private person. You could feel the sparks fly from the pages from the moment these two characters meet and the sparks only continued to grow in intensity as the story progressed! Daring to love will leave you in complete awe of Karen Ferry’s golden talent.
I loved this WITS romance. Investigative reporter Finlay Jensen has to write a story he hates, a personal interest story; Amelie Winters, the ballerina is his subject, and she is a very private person.
From their first interaction, sparks fly between Amelie and Finlay. I loved the chemistry and the banter between the characters. Amelie’s back story is a very private one and it gets leaked by underhanded moves of Finlay’s editor.
In the end, Finlay finds a way to help Amelie heal from the betrayal, and their love conquers the wrong doings done by another party.
I floved this book! Amelie and Finley’s story was incredibly sweet. I loved both characters. Finley was swoon worthy and Amelie was a sweetheart. I’m loving this series!
I enjoyed this sweet and fun read. I loved the little bits of French thrown in, I always enjoy when authors do that. Being a Virgo myself I could relate to some of Amelie’s quirks. Finley was a swoon worthy hero and I loved how he took care of Amelie. I didn’t see the twist coming and that added a bit of excitement. Overall a good read with good characters. Well written and entertaining.

This is a sweet and very romantic love story. Instant curiosity sparks a deep and genuine interest in Finley towards the gentle and captivating Amelie. The most important need this couple has for the relationship to work, is trust. And to achieve that, will not be easy with some ups and downs. But the process of both of them discovering a deeper and different side to them, definitely makes for some HOT pages.
