Keely Andersen hasn’t visited her hometown more than a handful of times in the last ten years, but when her doctoral research sends her back to Marietta for the immediate future, she can’t wait to reconnect with the community and the mountains she missed so much. Of course, nothing goes as planned, and Keely’s truck breaks down a few miles outside of town. When help arrives, she finds herself … face to face with her brother’s best friend – the guy she used to call big, bad and gorgeous – Jonah Clark.
Still settling back into Marietta after a harrowing stint as an army helicopter pilot, Jonah Clark plans to spend a few days hiking the local mountains to prepare for his job as a pilot for Crawford County’s Search and Rescue team. When he stops to help a stranded driver, Jonah is shocked to find his best friend’s younger sister is the one behind the wheel. Only now, instead of the geeky teen he remembered, Keely is all grown up with curves he can’t resist.
Though the sparks of attraction ignite immediately, they’re hesitant to act because of their shared past. But when a project dear to their hearts is threatened, and a boy is lost on Copper Mountain, Keely and Jonah drop everything to fight for what matters, including each other.

Cute could have been more heart wrenching. I wanted a scene where he is convinced he lost his whole world and is desperate to make it better, but her break down was okay. I just feel more when the big strong male loses it. Makes me want that.
True Love, First love, Forbidden Love. All rolled into one book. Lots of authors write for this series and it is hard to find the sequence books because of this. Perhaps all of the group could write under an nume de plume so we could find them. sorry I don’t know French.
Love
Keely is the nerdy science girl. Jonah is her brothers best friend and a former Army helicopter pilot. They both are finally home and she is working on her PhD. Can they finally admit how they both feel.
Fantastic
The title of book really did not pertain to the story.
I enjoyed this story quite a bit. The end was a little disappointing meaning that they spent a long time invested in the story and then they quickly wrapped all the loose ends up and said the end. I would of loved prologue at the end.
Good story, but stopped short of really developing story to my satisfaction.
The characters were loveable and flawed. You couldn’t help rooting for them to find happiness.
Great read!
Characters are likable. Good story for a rainy day.
Truly loved this story. It just hit me and had me hooked. I couldn’t put it down.
A good book.
I enjoyed this story line. Poor Ali was so misunderstood . Only Jonah could see the beauty in her, so sweet.
Really enjoyed this book. Will be reading more by this author!
Enjoyed this book very much.
Much better heroine than is standard, but somehow, things didn’t really mesh well for me in terms of interactions between H/h. There were some things that didn’t really seem to fit right. Still, on character development alone, this book is a stand-out for all the right reasons, IMO.
This is enjoyable on so many levels. Excitement, wonder, hot, steamy, loving, and longing. Good compassionate story line mixed with a love story. Each character and story within will keep your pages turning!
Kept getting better.
Good nice read. Hot but with a calm subduction.
Loved this book.
