This series just gets better with each new book.
Avery and Grey’s story is compelling from the start. I love rock star novels, perhaps because music is an important part of my own life. Maybe that’s why this book resonated with me so much. Or maybe it’s because the event Avery organizes is so moving and awesome …
Either way, this book is a page-turner and another must-read in this fantastic series.
Amazing story.
I read your story and I liked it I enjoyed it very much it was a great read, I could read more of your stories.
Too much explicit sex
great book
I really enjoyed this book. The author is one of my favorites.
short and sweet
I love this series! Never disappointed.
Flood characters coming back together
There was some suspense throughout the book, but not too much that it was distracting to the overall relationship between Avery and Grey. But it did add to the story because there will always be the crazy fans if you are an entertainer.
Loved all the Dares and I never rad this one after reading siennas book came back to this and was so happy I did. Love Avery and Grey. So much drama. Wow. I felt bad for Grey at how she kept so much distance but at the same time understood she as trying to protect herself. His manager was awe GI la no I’m glad karma worked out. So steamy. His rockstar persona and dominant need to have her was HOT. Loved the ending.
I love how Avery finds strength and determination to overcome her anxieties especially when she lets herself open up to Grey. Her scene with her father, Robert Dare is such a needed release of emotions that Avery, I think comes to her fullest potential and Grey is right beside her and never giving up. They’re a great couple that gets their second chance to be together.
This time the rock star is actually one who is ready to get out of the business, as he’s done being on the road, and really wants to get back to the one girl he always loved and to prove to her that he wants her back and will be what she needs. Grey’s career however has contained many fans, some a little crazy, such as one stalker that will come out of the woodwork to threaten Avery, as well as all the fans that want to blame Avery for supposedly causing the band to break up. But she isn’t truly the reason, there are many others, including a druggie member that they are tired of working with until he gets help, as well as a slimy manager that Grey is ready to be done with. Avery doesn’t really want to be in the limelight either, as she had to deal with that in her past, when it was found out that her dad had another family. She has very overprotective brothers as well, who don’t like her being with Grey either. The brothers, and I think other family and friends, are who the rest of the series will center around.
This book is about Avery Dare & Grey Kingston. This is Book 5 in the Dare to Love Series. Avery makes a living by posting on a blog. Grey is a rock star. The two parted when he went to find his fame, but he is back now and wants to see what, if anything is between them, and what could be for the future. As usual, Avery has issues because of her father, as all the rest of her siblings do. It is touch and go for her and Grey. He has problems with his ex manager and a disgruntled fan, and this affects Avery. They go through some hard times, but in the end she conquers her fears. This is a great story. I love how the characters from the other books are intertwined in each book. This is a page turner, too. Looking forward to reading the last book in this series.
Avery Dare lives a peaceful life in Miami, working as a fashion video blogger. She has a good support system consisting of family and friends, and when she isn’t spending time with them, she volunteers at a local hospital where she helps children fighting cancer. She steers clear of romance, because the last time she fully invested her heart in someone, she got burned when he walked away from her to conquer his quest for fame and fortune. In her eyes, no one has ever quite measured up to Grey Kingston, she dreams of a life with him often and has never been able to let go of her memories of him, even though he broke her heart so long ago. So, when he sends her a ticket to his show, she jumps at the chance to go see him, hoping they can pick up where they left off. Only when she sees him surrounded by other women backstage, she decides that maybe it just wasn’t meant to be and it might finally be time to fully let him go…
Grey Kingston has never gotten over Avery Dare, and if anything his feelings for her have deepened over the years, for him she has always been the girl he let slip away. He left her behind to seek a life of fame and fortune, and while he achieved that goal, there was always one thing missing from his life…Avery. With his time on the road coming to a end, he decides it’s time to make a plan that will win her back, so he sends her a ticket to his show, hoping he can put himself back in her good graces, only to screw up the opportunity when she sees him surrounded by a bunch of backstage groupies. Not ready admit defeat and give up on his plan, he continues to keep himself in her thoughts by sending her gifts and texts, and hopes it’s just enough to open the door to her heart once again and possibly cement a place in her life once he moves back home…
This is the seventh installment in the “Dare to Love” series by Ms. Phillips, and I think it could easily be read as a standalone title, however, once you read it I think you’ll be dying to know more about the Dare family. I have read several installments in the series and have truly loved every one of them! She has a special way of creating each story to be strong enough to stand on it’s own, but also includes just enough details about the other family members to feed readers appetites and keep them updated on their favorite characters in the series.
I have truly enjoyed every minute I have spent reading about this family, and encourage you to add this series to the top of your reading list, each book contains some very memorable characters that will steal your heart and leave you with a smile on your face!
