After inheriting a small fortune, Willow Perry has everything she’s ever wanted. Except a husband, that is. But not just any husband will do. She’s looking for a grand love—someone who will challenge and excite her. It’s just her folly that the one man who interests her is a notorious rake. He’s as wild and passionate as Willow is sheltered and staid. Love between such polar opposites would be … impossible … wouldn’t it?
Abraham Blackwood has devoted his life to the pursuit of pleasure. He’s perfectly happy to run his gaming den and ignore the expectations of society. But meeting the lovely Willow gives him another goal. Revenge. Making her pay for the sins her family committed against his will be easy. Ignoring how much he wants her—not only beneath him, but at his side, forever? That might prove to be infinitely more difficult.
When Willow discovers Abraham’s true intentions, can the fragile bonds they’ve begun to form survive? Or will the cards remain firmly stacked against their happily ever after?

Willow Perry inherited a fortune when her aunt died, and wants to have to live an exciting fun filled life while she searches for a husband. She wants very much to marry for love and to have a family of her own. Abraham Blackwood, Marquess of Riley, is a consummate rake and that’s the way he likes it. Even so, his friends ask him to help keep an eye on Willow, who is having her first society party. He agrees for one reason. He holds a grudge against her family for a slight he believes drove his mother from England, and see this as a chance to get revenge. Will he get what he wants? Just how far is he willing to go to ruin Willow, who had no part in what happened to his mother? How willing will she be to forgive his foolish mistakes?
Willow is a wonderful person. She is happy, caring, and devoted to those she loves. Abe is an ass. He is arrogant and doesn’t seem to care about anybody but himself, and revenge. These two are total opposites. There is no way these two can fall in love. But the attraction between them is strong and the chemistry sizzles. There’s a happily ever after in there somewhere, but it will not come easy. This is an engaging story with a lovely outcome. There is drama, romance, and some fun. I loved Willow and Evie’s adventurous visit to Hell’s Gate, Abe’s gambling hell. This is a good story. I enjoyed it and recommend it.
This is the 3rd book in the series League of Unweddable Gentlemen. I have read all three books so far and I loved every one of them., but I believe the couple Willow and Abe might be my favorite. Willow became an heiress when her aunt died, which gave her freedom to enjoy a season and find a husband who will love her forever. Abe is a Marquess and his nick name is the Spanish Scoundrel. The chemistry between Willow and Abe was tremendous and I enjoyed every movement of them being together. Tamara Gill always writes a story which I always enjoy.
Revenge is sweet…but love is sweeter!!! Tamara Gill has another hit on her hands.
Willow’s beloved Aunt has passed and left her entire fortune to her. She helps two of her friends during the season and knows she will marry soon. Before that happens she hopes to have a whole lot of fun. Enters the scandalous Marquess Ryley, Abraham Blackwood (Spanish Scoundrel). He is asked by his friends (Willow’s BFF’s husbands) to keep an eye on her from “gold diggers”…He keeps an eye on her for sure! He also wants to ruin her because of what her late Aunt and some friends did to his mother…he blames those women of the Ton for running his mother out of England. He starts the process and throws in a little “FUN” and just when he has her where he wants….He falls in love and now must pay the consequences. His beloved is about to marry another man. He must fight tooth and nail to win back her trust and love!!!
This is a very spicy love story!!! Love that Willow is an independent woman who wants some spicy fun before she marries!!!
Sex, Rakes and Virgins 3.5*
Abe is a rake and a scoundrel who had an unhappy childhood and blames certain members of the ton for their treatment of his mother. When his friend asks him to look out for Willow Perry, the last surviving member of a family he hates, he is determined to ruin her. On meeting her, she affects him like no other woman has before but he hangs on to his quest for revenge.
I have mixed feelings about this book. I really liked the character of Willow but thought at the end she forgave Abe too easily and whilst Abe’s mistakes were understandable I didn’t feel he grovelled and apologised, on the contrary he seemed high-handed and arrogant. I also had a number of unanswered questions.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
There was just something about Willow and Abe that really clicked with me. Maybe it was the whole opposites attract angle or the couple’s great great chemistry or maybe it was how emotional, dramatic and tension filled this story line was. I’m personally inclined to feel it was a combination of all the above. But, whatever the case may be I really enjoyed it.
Fabulous Read As Always!! Dare To Be Scandalous by Tamara Gill is book 3 in the League of Unweddable Gentlemen series. Though in a series this book can be read as a standalone. Tamara is truly a gifted writer and I just get so excited when she have a new release coming out. The story is so original and her characters are great. This story has revenge, betrayal, loving friends, a very big secret, attraction, an engagement, misunderstandings, a gambling hell, a disguise and yes love. I highly recommend you read this book or any of Tamara Gill’s books. They are truly Fabulous!!!

Love between such polar opposites would be impossible .Abraham Blackwood Marquis of Ryley has devoted his life to the pursuit of pleasure. This is the third book in the series & whilst it could be read on its own, the series is so very good I’d recommend reading in order. I loved both Abe & Willow, he’s the rake known as the Spanish Scoundrel who doesn’t give a toss about society & she’s the woman looking for love. Their attraction sizzles but they try to deny their feelings. Abe is set on revenge until he finds that some things are more important & of course he makes a complete hash of things, it was hugely entertaining how he struggled to win Willow. Another well written engrossing read that made me smile & uplifted my mood in these difficult times
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
Abe and Willow should never be a couple! He because of his rakish ways and she because she is an innocent lady … And yet! Together they are perfection.
This is a lovely love story with a happily-ever-after and as I read and felt all the angst, frustrations and passion that these two young characters were going through, I longed for their story to continue forever.
Definitely a must read!
I read an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) and this is my voluntary and unbiased review of it.
