They say opposites attract. Katia and Ryder could not be more different.
She’s hot-tempered and creative. He’s calm and analytical.
When she was younger, she would call him the yin to her yang. But their short-lived high-school romance ended when it was time for college.
Now they’re just friends. Nothing more.
And It’s their turn for a dare. Instead of telling the truth, they’ve got to lie.
… Instead of telling the truth, they’ve got to lie.
To complete the dare, they must attend a family wedding and convince everyone that they are head over heels in love with each other.
Will they succeed, or will they find out the only people they’ve lied to is themselves?

Part three of the Truth or Dare series, you simply cannot miss out on this super adorable story! This second chance romance between high school sweethearts will warm your heart and give you plenty of laughs along the way. Ryder broke Katia’s heart all those years ago when he broke up with her before going off to college. But truth be told, there has never been anyone but her in his heart. He is back in town now and is best man at Katia’s sister’s wedding, and thanks to a dare, they just may have a second chance. It’s now up to them now whether they take advantage of this opportunity, or let stubbornness and doubts get in the way of their happiness. This is a very sweet and delightful story, and I heartily recommend it!

For me, Katia and Ryder’s story was unexpected from the start. This sweet love story is such a feel-good book, I smiled so much while reading it. I wish there were more friends to read about but I’m really glad I read this story. It perfectly ends the Dare series. Although I do love this group of friends and hope we get more books about them in the future!
This was a cute YA second chance short story romance. Katia and Debbie’s boisterous extended Italian family were a riot.
Rating:
This story was the best in this series. It wrapped up the whole set and I am sad to part with the characters I’ve grown to love. Each book just got better and better. I loved the characters in this story. They had a past with each other and learned from their mistakes. I loved how a couple of small dares created lots of love. I look forwards to reading more of this author’s novels.

Well written story full of complex relationships among characters. Good reality and background of a wedding celebration plus fake relationship. All together enjoyable and easy to read.

I loved this series and this final book was exceptional. Ryder and Katia are high school sweethearts that broke up before college. They pretend to be engaged during Katia’s sister’s wedding to divert attention from the introvert bride. Feelings resurface and the most beautiful conclusion occurs. Terrific series!!

The last story of a very funny trilogy. The dares are almost at the end,and more changes are coming but all of them are written with good humor and make you laugh. It´s easy to read and does help to lighten your mood (if you need it!). Hopefully Laura will be delighting readers with another light and funy stories soon!

Ryder broke up with Katia after they had been so in sync in high school as they were getting ready to leave for college. He broke it off and broke her heart and though it took awhile for her to recover, her father never did. And neither did the friend group. This is the third in a series of cute stories about a friend group that is one by one pairing off. For Katia and Ryder the dare is that they pretend they are engaged, which given all of the feeling that was still there between them was more of a catalyst than a dare. Will they take advantage of this second chance and get back together? Read it and see. I have to say, I have liked every pair in this series.

To dare each other was all Katya and Ryder needed to realize their hearts still belongued to each other, even after several years apart but never getting over the love. This story is a great ending for such a romantic and funny series, I loved it.

This is book 3 in Burton’s Truth or Dare series and follows the story of Katia and Ryder – high school sweethearts, but distance wore this relationship down – only to find that there is still a spark left to their connection and the door has not closed on the two of them. Short and sweet, each of these reads is / was such a joy to read. Fun and heartwarming with great storylines and characters!
*better when read in order!

Katia and Ryder had a brief high-school romance which ended when they went to college. It didn’t start back up, so they are just friends, even though she would love to have more. It’s their turn for a dare coming up, and rather than have to tell the truth, they have to lie.
To complete their dare, they are required to attend a family wedding for her sister and convince everyone they ARE head over heels in love with each other. The plan is to convince the family they are engaged. Can they make that believable? Or will they be shocked to discover the only ones they lied to is them?
This is the 3rd of this series.. The characters are engaging and well developed with plenty of chemistry throughout the pages.
Katia & Ryder have to convince her Italian family they are engaged while attending her sister’s wedding. That is no simple feat. It’s another fun, funny story to complete this series. I received an ARC. This is my voluntary opinion.
This is book three it’s well worth the time to read. The characters are engaging and well developed with plenty of chemistry throughout the pages.

I have enjoyed this series. This book focused on Katia and Ryder who had dated in high school. They had to pretend to be engaged at her twin sister’s wedding. I liked that the story was funny as Storm Sally hits their area and her whole Italian family showed up for the wedding. I really liked the surprises Laura Burton wrote iinto this book which really added to the story and the whole series. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Rekindling The Fire –
Katia and Ryder were high school sweethearts, but Ryder ended it because of them going to college and the distance. What neither of them realised at the time was that it wasn’t the end of the love story. They get the opportunity for a second chance at her sister’s wedding, but stubbornness and doubts nearly cost them the chance of a lifetime. It may have started out as a dare, but it was really the opportunity they needed to realise they were each other’s one. This short story is a sweet and heartwarming read, that has everything to fill your heart with love and joy. You won’t want to miss reading it.

I think I may be romance-cheesed out at the moment or maybe just a bit cynical (close friends are considering divorce and this story features a wedding). This part of the series did not hit me as strongly as the other two and I don’t know why so I’m assuming it’s me. The characters are likeable and their dare is great. I also loved the storm scene. Everything about it I like, but it just didn’t sing. It’s short, just like the previous two, so if you are looking for a quick cutesy happily-ever-after, I do recommend it!
