I love Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and have read many variations. I enjoy most of them. I liked this one because it put most of the characters in a better light except the obvious villains.
Love, kidnapping, intrigue and suspense.
I enjoyed this story and am looking forward to more Darcy stories. This was entertaining with enough drama to keep you turning the pages. Thanks for the great read.
A good story line for Austen’s characters.
What a great alternative story of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett. Enjoyable.
Fun to read about favorite characters in different story.
A little too predictable.
Interesting twist to classic story.
This was a delightful book to read. I liked the humour and the easy reading. It is a book I can recommend to serious romance readers as well as any one looking for a light read.
I really enjoy Ms. Joy’s books. She is one of my favorite authors.
As a die hard Austin fan I read all the books that are rewrites of her book. This one is up to Austin’s standards. You are rooting that they can resolve their conflicts and find love. I good story well written.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book although I thought the plot was artificial and contrived. The characters from Austen’s Pride and Orejudice world weren’t acting according to script but the book is easy reading and entertaining enough to made it a good read. I recommend it.
Same old same old
I enjoyed this book very much. I loved the Jane Austen books and “Darcy’s Ultimatum” picks up on some of the same characters and creates a life for them. It was a good read and so much fun.
I love these ‘different take on P&P’ books!
Some pride and prejudice spin-offs are horrible. But not this one! Quite enjoyable.
If You like Jane Austen, this is very similar but not really different. Not very original.
A cute spin on the story with likable characters
another good story with comfortable characters. I love these stories they take me somewhere else. an excellent read.
I enjoyed this book better than I thought I would.
