A blind date set up by her grandmothers best friend.A mistaken identity.A crying baby left at her apartment. What could possibly go wrong for Sadie Johnson? Just about everything. She thought her week couldn’t get any worse and then she went on her date and met Dante.Dante Vanderbilt. Hot, charming, sexy, rich, and arrogant. He was the sort of man that every woman wanted to tame. Every woman … wanted to tame. Every woman except Sadie. She disliked him on sight and she let him know that right away. However that only seemed to amuse him and want her even more. Even though he assumed she was a flighty, careless single mother. Even though she let him believe that was true and that she would never want him as a stepdad to her pretend kid. He seemed to find her distaste appealing which only irritated her even more. Sadie couldn’t wait to leave the date and Dante behind, only he seemed to keep popping up wherever she went.
Sadie wasn’t sure what Dante wanted from her, but one thing she knew for sure was that she was in way over her head.

Dante by J.S. Cooper is the story of Dante Vanderbilt and Sadie Johnson who meet when they are set up on a blind date by their grandmothers. Sadie is not impressed with Dante’s behavior when they first meet, but she is attracted to him. The plot has fun and flirty banter, drama, secrets, steamy attraction, and interfering grandmothers. This story ends in a cliffhanger and will be continued in the next book entitled Dante’s Undoing.

She meets him for a blind date and she brings her friends children, how worse can it get? Dante cannot believe she brought her kids on her date.

This isn’t a standalone read so be prepared for a cliffhanger.
The plot is fantastic it grab me right from the star to the finish.
The chemistry and interaction between Dante and sadie is interesting
and can’t wait for the next book to find out more .

No where in the description does it say there’s a cliffhanger- there’s not even a hint that this book isn’t a complete book. Honestly, I absolutely hate cliffhangers, especially when I go in thinking that I’m reading a complete book with a HEA. That being said, it is well- written, I like both Sadie and Dante, the grandmas are too cute, their blind date meeting is a trip , and I enjoyed the banter. I just really wish there wasn’t a cliffhanger, so now I definitely have to read the next book to get the HEA.

The date between Dante and Sadie and the confusion that ensues is actually kind of fun. It’s hilarious at times. It’s sort of a big train wreck and neither can understand why they’re attracted to each other. I enjoyed reading although it does end on a cliffhanger.
If you love alpha males than this is a must read book for you!!!This was an awesome book that I really enjoyed. The story and characters grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn’t stop reading. I loved characters watching them grow together, they were well written and went well together. This book had great word building making me feel apart of the story and watching it unfold in front of me. A definite must read for any fan and I can’t wait to read more from this author!!!

Sadie has hit a wall in life. She has a job which she hates. A great best friend who lets her live with her but no love interest. Deciding that she needs to have some excitement in life she signs up on a dating app. Dante is single, wealthy and not looking for a relationship. Due to their grandmother interference they are sent on a blind date. That blind date was one for the books especially when her best friend needs her to watch her 3 kids at the same time she has a date. Feeling indebted to her she tries to have the blind date and babysit the kids. This date ends before it begins due to both their stubbornness and inability to speak the truth. Is there is a future for them? Will Sadie be able to find love? Can Dante and Sadie fix their misunderstanding? This book left me impatiently waiting for the next story in the series.

The worst thing about this book is having to wait for the next one! Not what I was expecting but interesting, got to say Dylan was actually the star of this book looking forward to reading the next book

I have to admit to being confused by the format of this story. When I read the prologue referring to Jonas and Kiwi I thought I had downloaded the wrong book file. The premise of the story is quite funny and the interaction between Dante and Sadie is hilarious. I am curious to see how their story ends.

Sadie is a self professed normal girl who wants something outside of the normal. What happens when its offered?
This is an interesting book. The storyline is intriguing and the chemistry between the characters is hot.
The emails in this tale carry the narrative and enhance what is going on between Dante and Sadie. I was laughing as I read them. I think as a reader you will enjoy the twists and turns this story takes.
I have to say that I liked this book, lots of laughs in this one.
I hated the ending for 2 reasons, #1 it’s a cliffhanger #2 it’s an awesome cliffhanger. Now I’m sitting here just waiting for the next book and wondering what Sadie is going to do. What I would do. It’s driving me crazy!
Sadie is a kind but scattered woman who lives above her best friend and her 3 kids. While she agrees to a blind date for her grandmother, she never expected how it would end.
Dante is a rich playboy that never plans on marriage. The problem is he can never say no to his grandmother. Now he finds himself fascinated by a woman with kids???
Loved seeing Dante again, he was in “Along came baby” you do not have to read that book first. He was just a side character.

Sadie is talked into going on a blind date with Dante set up by her grandmother and her friend. When they meet sparks fly, but there are a lot of misunderstandings! Can they find their happily ever after? It’s a great book with a good story, but it is a cliffhanger which didn’t know about!

This is a good start in a story about a couple who doesn’t necessarily want a relationship and doesn’t communicate very well, but seems to have great chemistry and possibly a little something extra.

This is the story of Sadie and Dante. She went on a blind date and met Dante. He was everything she disliked and didn’t bother to hide this from him. This only made him want her more. So let the games begin. I enjoyed the twists in this story but it ends in a cliffhanger so I look forward the next one. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
4.35 stars
This is one author that knows how to get a laugh. Sadie is a woman who has a heart of gold and makes herself available to her friends when needed. When her grandmother sets her up with the grandson of her best friend, who is Sadie to say no. Dante is the grandson who is roped into a blind date with Sadie. However, unlike Sadie, he is not looking for a relationship. When they actually meet for their first date, Dante makes some assumptions that have Sadie giving him a piece of her mind. Can these two come together after everything or will neither one set the record straight? This is one amusing storyline that does end in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see what befalls Dante next. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This just wasn’t my cup of tea.
The story didn’t speak to me and I didn’t get into the story.
I’m also not a big fan of sequels..
There was some strange chemistry between Dante and Sadie but I found Dante very rude.
This wasn’t just my story but there are other stories by JS Cooper that I really liked.

Dante by J.S. Cooper. This is part one of a duet so it does end on a cliffy and is rather short but I was happy with the plot, the drama, the charters and the anticipated ending. Looking forward to Dante’s Undoing. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is an entertaining read with strong characters and a sexy story line. The author does a great job pulling you into the story and left me with wanting more with the cliffhanger ending. It’s well written, moves quickly and smoothly. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Dante was a quick fun read. The books ending leaves you wanting more and curious as to how this new character comes into play. Anxiously awaiting book 2!
