At first I was a little confused but the more I read, the more I liked. I know the review is short but I didn’t want to give anything away. There is action, suspense, and sex.
Dangerously Taken is a phenomenal romantic suspense by Sidney Bristol. Ms. Bristol has provided readers with a well-written book furnished with a superb cast of characters. Riley and his team have been sent to get Melody out of the fix she’s found herself in. Captured and held hostage. Once rescued Riley and his team struggle to keep her alive. Riley and Melody’s story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading Dangerously Taken and look forward to reading more from Sidney Bristol soon. Dangerously Take is book 1 of the Aegis Group Lepta Team Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Erin and Reily have a?great story
two characters with alot of past to deal wirh
together through many obstaclescthey can make it. Great Read
Not as exciting as other books by this author. Slow moving and characters were confusing
One of my least favorite books by Sydney Bristol. The action was okay but what killed this book for me was the constant inner monologue by both Riley and Erin. The inner monologue about their feelings and emotions and how they don’t know, etc. We get it y’all have doubts but I don’t need to read it in every chapter. I skipped several pages because of the repetition. I like that Riley had the ability to make Erin laugh. Also Riley for a boy name threw me off. All the Riley’s I know are girls. This book is in massive need of editing because when you confused offer with officer was it even proofread?! Also it kind of annoying how a lot of the facts did not line up. And who ordered the hits ? Because Mark was not the brains of the operation. He was the muscle that directed the operation. But The Who behind the puppet strings was never explained.
Love reading military books & retired military in security companies this was a great book great from beginning to end I highly recommended it
Editing could have been better. Quite a few grammar errors.
Lot of action and mystery keeps the story moving. Great characters with good family ties and of course some romance.
