Officer John O’Connor is giving up on life after a terrible accident. His family are at their wits end when he refuses any kind of therapy. The only thing keeping him sane is his dreams of a beautiful woman he pulled in for a traffic violation months before. Physical Therapist Stephanie Kelly is healing from a broken heart. When she is hired by Nightingale’s personal care and physical therapy, … therapy, she’s ecstatic but she’s shocked when her boss asks her to take on a new patient. Shocked because the patient is her boss’s nephew and he’s not exactly keen on therapy. He’s also the cop who’s been heating up her dreams.
As Stephanie helps John get back on his feet, they grow closer, but someone is out to hurt Stephanie, or worse. After multiple attempts on her life, John’s family tries to figure out who’s after the woman he loves and stop them before it’s too late.

A well written book with interesting characters and relationships from family, friends, and lovers. I will start reading the next book right after I’m done with this review because I’m hooked. It is sweet, sexy, and has just the right amount of suspense. Nanny is a lovable and fun loving character. There are plenty of batty grandma characters out there, but this one beats them all, its real as though the writer was inspired by her own experiences in her own life. Romance is always a plus in a book, this had it in a very nice way. A nurse role, falling in love with her handsome patient? You will really enjoy this book.
A steamy read full of romance, suspense and angst. John and Stephanie meet in an unusual way but can’t get each other out of their mind. A tragedy brings them back together and their chemistry is off the charts. This was an easy read because there was never a dull moment from the time our two characters meet. If you are looking for steamy, romance, great characters, suspense, angst, twists & turns and a family that will have you LOL then this is the read for you.
I absolutely LOVED this book! The storyline was fantastic. I found myself laughing out loud on some of the conversations! John and Stephanie’s characters were amazingly written. I’ve started reading more of the series because I can’t seem to get enough of the O’Connells!
I can’t believe that this is a debut novel, Rhonda Brewer did a great job of creating a world that is full of action and fun. This is one series that I think will make you want to keep going back to see what is happening. This book is filled with all of the things that make me love reading.
Dangerous Therapy is a romantic suspense novel, but there is lots of fun and romance thrown in to make those pages fly by. I couldn’t put it down, their story had me laughing out loud at some points and wanting to scream at others. This story pulled me in and it completely left me wanting more. John and Stephanie meet under some really interesting circumstances and the story just gets better from there.
You won’t want to miss this one. Take a chance on an author who I think is going to be a huge hit very soon. Love this book and will be anxiously waiting for book two.
Oh! My! God!! DANGEROUS THERAPY by Rhonda Brewer had me DEVOURING this BOOK in One Sitting!!
From the Very Beginning, pulled over for Something that was out of Stephanie’s control by Officer O’Conner and trying to help her out after figuring it out what had made him pull her over for.
Stephanie and John’s Storytelling was Such an Emotional and Inspiring experience for the both of them. Even from the moment they met months before, there was an Chemistry between the two that had them Intrigued.
Stephanie being a physical therapist and John being a cop….helps him get back to “himself” but Not before Obstacles get the way and someone after Stephanie.
Not going to Spoil anything for you but DEFINITELY a MUST Read BOOK!!
This was a nice start to the series. I am hoping that James is next and he gets his HEA.
An officer and the physical Therapist? Yes please! Officer John O’Connor doesn’t and Stephanie paths have crossed before so it’s a surprise to both of them when she is hired to help him recover from an accident. Their chemistry is off the charts but when Stephanie’s life is a risk John realized that what they have may be more than just chemistry and it’s up t him to save her. Action packed full of great chemistry this read makes for a great a weekend romance.
Stephanie is in a rush to get her sister to the hospital to have her baby and she runs a red light. John sees what is happening and calls for an ambulance. As he watches them leave he notices a purse that was left. He can’t wait ro return it to see her again. Right off the bat there is chemistry between these two. John sees Stephanie when she comes to start physical therapy with him. This is a great story.
Dangerous Therapy (O’Connor Brothers Book 1)
Rhonda Brewer
John and Stephanie meet in a very unusual way, but both are quite taken with the other, and even though they don’t see each other, neither can stop thinking of the other one. Then John is in a bad accident, and is it fate or what, but they are back together again. Stephanie is now his physical therapist/and assistant. The chemistry between these two is off the charts, and you can just feel the angst between them as you are reading. John has 6 brothers and they are all funny and several of them love to give him a hard time. His whole family is funny and so loving, but Nanny Betty is hysterical. She says it like it is and is so funny, and takes no guff from anyone. The O’Connors are such a close family, and it is so nice to see this. There are also some very tense moments as it appears someone is trying to hurt/kill Stephanie. This book has it all – romance, suspense, mystery, drama, wit and some comedy. This is totally my kind of book and it captured my interest from start to finish. I loved the characters and can’t wait to read the rest of the series to see what happens with the rest of the O’Connor clan. Oh and I almost forgot about the Cupid Aunt. This was my first book by Rhonda Brewer, but I will be reading more of her and definitely this series.
John and Stephanie met on a professional level at first but then it became so much more. Great suspense and chemistry. These two were made for eachother.
John and stephanie have a chance meeting. Who would think their lifes would pass each other again. Their family dynamic is amazing.
This read was pretty good. It would be lots better with a good edit. This book has a hot cop, a beautiful physical therapist, a cute meet, a bad wreck, a Cupid Aunt, a hilarious Nanny Betty, two great sets of parents, 6 obnoxious but loving brothers, someone who wants our heroine dead, a list of suspects and some hot sexy scenes.
This first book in the series brings a lot to the table. Mystery stalkers, drama, push and pull, heartbreak, lots of interesting characters, twists, turns, action and secrets. I will defintely be reading more books in this series and seeing what is happening with all his brothers. My only complaint is there are errors in grammar and details. Maybe use an editor or if you did, get a different one.
This is my first book by Rhonda Brewer but it definitely won’t be my last. This was a good start to the series. I am looking forward to reading book 2. Great book and definitely recommended.
Enjoyable read, about a couple who first meet by chance and then after an accident Stephanie becomes John’s carer and physical therapist. What ensues follows a pretty much predicatable love story between the pair. However someone is trying to hurt Stephanie. Your introduced to a few potential villians for this, and pretty much kept in the dark as to the real villian with some good twists and turns as well as getting to know John’s family as the pull together to help find out who is behind the attacks. This has a lot of potential to be a good series as we meet the rest of the O’Çonnor brothers in more detail.
John O’Connor comes from a long line of hot O’Connor brothers(7 total). He is a police officer who has a woman that he pulled over for speeding. Stephanie also can’t forget Officer O Connor who pulled her over when taking her sister to the hospital.
They meet again when Stephanie is hired as his PT and caregiver after he has a auto mobile injury.
These two fall hard for each other. When someone sets their sights on harming Stephanie the O’Connor’s step up to help his lad love.
This book had a great setting. Loved the O’Connor family. Romance and suspense in a great combination. I am volunteering to leave a review for this book.
A heartfelt read. John struggles with his loss as he turns to Stephanie. The push and pull of these two had my heart racing in anticipation of their outcome. This is a new to me author and I would definitely read her again.
A sweet read with some serious suspense and danger thrown in, along with 6 chunky brothers.
I have not really read anything set in Canada and while it was nice that the author used local phrasing and words it was a bit off putting when it kept saying things like “she used the Newfoundland words for” or “the common Newfoundland phrase”
At times the story dragged on with what seemed like a lot of reading with not much added to the story but overall an enjoyable read.
Really enjoyed the characters in Dangerous Therapy. There was tragedy, romance and suspense. Easy read and made me want to read the rest of the series.
