What a great conclusion to this romantic suspense trilogy. Twist and turns will have you devour this read. I absolutely loved Eva and Naz. A must read!
What a fabulous ending to an incredible trilogy, Ms Geissinger has really put her heart and soul into these books and it shows. I often find that the third book in a trilogy is a letdown as the story just fizzles out, definitely not here. It is like watching a movie unfold the writing is so good and indeed this trilogy would make an awesome movie.
We have everything in this book, love, hate, revenge, blood, pain, and death. Some deserved and some not. We are shown the strength of love as Naz wants to put aside his own injuries and pain to go find Eva but he has to leave it to his nemesis the mysterious Killian, we still don’t really know who this guy is but hopefully he will get his own book. Eva is just something else, not many of us would have the strength not to be dragged under by the evil Dimitri after all the physical and mental abuse she has endured from him. Even so she will never give up on her love for Naz and will die for him if need be. For Dimitri it is so true that “what goes around comes around”as he finds that there is a bigger evil out there and it’s come for him.
This is all you really need in a finale except the popcorn! Brilliantly done as always Ms Geissinger! Five Stars and many more.
This was an excellent series and this book is awesome. I loved the characters, plot and ending but I must say there were parts that were hard to read. This book is part of a trilogy and should be read in order. Eva proved from the first book she was smart and stronger than she even realized. I loved when Dimitri under estimated Eva and found a letter opener in his flesh. Then there is Nazi and has been one of my favorite people since his days as Barney in The Bad Habit series. Nazi is the one you want on your side because he is willing to die for who he protects and loves. The story was filled with everything needed to make a great movie and hopefully it will come to pass. I loved that this story was filled with twist and turns that kept me on my feet. You will enjoy this book along with the whole series.
I’ve been waiting for this conclusion and Ms. Geissinger did not disappoint!
It was gritty. It was fierce. It was so much more than I expected. A favorite line from the book sums things up so well:
True love doesn’t come with any catches.
After finishing “Dangerous Desires,” I felt like I was about ready to nosedive off the cliff J.T. took us to and I needed her to complete the third book in the series quickly. Thankfully she did it and “Dangerous Games” went to the top of my library when I was given an opportunity to read an advance copy. I just can’t say how excited I was when I got that e-mail.
I was immediately brought back to where Naz and Eva left off at the front door. Never to disappoint, J.T. brought the heat and intensity along with the thrill and adrenaline pumped actions to deal with what they find themselves in. Dimitri just continues with his despicable antics and if you already thought you couldn’t dislike him anymore, well you will – urgh… But if you are as much of a Killian fan as I am, he’s back….
Eva’s life experiences have given her pain but also so much strength, yet J.T. makes you feel and see just how much more strength she possesses and can draw from as a result of the love and trust that Naz has for her. As you see the lengths Dimitri continues to be willing to go to, you can’t be anything but happy for Eva in knowing she had a chance to experience such intense love to make this faceoff worth every nail-biting moment. No spoilers from this reader, other than trust me you’ll want to finish this series!
When I say this was an absolutely thrilling conclusion to this trilogy, what I really mean is “thrilling” doesn’t accurately describe the pulse-pounding, edge of your seat, pulling your hair, closing your eyes, holding your breath kind of emotions I’m trying to describe! Wow, this was much darker than the first two books but even through all the wickedness and evil that Dimitri rained down on poor Eva, I was impressed and inspired by her strength, resilience, bravery and faith – this woman has faith in spades. And I fell in love with Naz even more in Book #3. As I said in my review of Dangerous Desires, Book #2, I loved the banter between Naz and Killian and if possible, I enjoyed it even more in this finale (and I certainly hope JT decides to give Killian his own book!). This was one of my favorite romantic suspense series I’ve read this year — everything I’ve come to expect from this author and more — another outstanding and exceptionally well written series!
A well-written, suck you in, keep you turning page after page series finale. This book wraps up the series in the best way possible. The final conflict keeps you on the edge of your seat, the romance plays out with all the feels you expect from J.T., and all your questions from the first two books are answered mostly to your satisfaction. There is also an opening left for a spinoff series. Overall, this series is a must read!
Dangerous Games is the last book in the Dangerous Trilogy that began with Dangerous Beauty. As is the case with all J.T. Geissinger’s books it is very well written and draws you in from start. You feel Eva’s emotions and her pain as if you are right next to her…and not just Eva. All J.T.’s characters come alive in all her books. It is as if you are riding their roller coaster of a life right along with them. Dangerous Games is just that. It is full of highs and lows, curves and bumps, love and hate. It is also more dark than the first two books and for that reason I would actually rate it 4.5 although I gave it five stars. I’m not into quite so much violence and Dimitri was extremely violent. However, good wins out and I love that Eva was never his “victim”! J.T. is a wonderful author and has written another amazing story. Although I did not mind the cliffhangers, the series is now complete. Readers have no excuse not to jump in and lose themselves in this series. I highly recommend it!
INTENSE is really the only way to describe this action-packed but deeply romantic conclusion. If you’ve read the first two books in the series (which is an absolute MUST to enjoy this conclusion), you already have an idea of just what Dangerous Games entails. It’s an extremely satisfying but intensely dark ride that picks up where the last book left off and keeps your heart racing until the very end. If you’ve stuck around this long, you probably don’t need the trigger warning but things have to get worse before they can get better and you should know that going in.
I will not be sharing any details of the storyline; this really cannot be read as a standalone and if you’ve read the first two it needs no explanation. I will says that this has been a fantastic series. I’ve always enjoyed Geissinger’s books but this series has been extremely entertaining. It’s dark and emotional with a major element of suspense but the connection between Naz and Eva makes it all worth the journey. And if Geissinger doesn’t write Killian or Doc’s books next, I will be VERY disappointed. I greatly appreciated receiving an ARC via NetGalley so I didn’t have to wait so long to finish Naz and Eva’s story. I am voluntarily leaving a review of this suspenseful and romantic book.
The final instalment of this trilogy is more suspenseful than anything you expect.
There are so many things happening, twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat even more than before and I couldn’t stop reading until I found out how everything will unfold.
A romantic suspense at its true core with two characters that will break all the frontiers for their happily ever after.
This is the third book in the Dangerous Beauty trilogy. Little did we know when we were introduced to Barney in her Bad Habit series we would really be with Barney(Naz) for eight (8) books! Wow! We’ve gotten to really know him and we’ve discovered a lot about him. He’s got a tragic past but he’s come through his tragedy with a core of good, lots of strength, a love for geeky movies that are uber quotable, an incredible sense of humor, and a real heart of gold. Plus he kicks ass. Eva is his female equivalent, period. end. of. story.
These three books have been a roller coaster of emotions and cheers and tears. We’ve met new characters that are so intriguing that there have to be more stories coming. And I have a feeling we are going to more connections with J.T.’s other books. This book was by no means a let-down or disappointment. In the opening pages I was already screaming, HELL YES! EVA! She never stops surprising me with her spirit and her refusal to bow before evil. Well, that was just the beginning of this roller coaster of emotions as we rode along to see the culmination of everything. I think laughing out loud is the thing I remember most about reading this book. The things these people say and the scenes played out just had me. So you kept reading because you just HAD to know what happens next. I stayed up way too late, and then I’m done, then I have a book hangover. And now I am dealing with the fact I don’t know if we will see Naz again and he’s been a constant through so many books I’m slightly depressed at not hanging with him and Eva. Hopefully, J.T. will bring him back in small roles as she continues to spin her universes of delight.
Be sure you read this trilogy. In fact, to get the full experience start with the Bad Habit books.
Dangerous Games is the conclusion in the exciting Dangerous Beauty trilogy.
Be prepared for the worst possible outcome for Eva but be rest assured that where there’s a will, there’s a way. Good always triumphs over evil (or so I like to tell myself) and this is no different!
The conclusion however, should inspire readers to anticipate what is coming next from the pen of this amazing author. The possibilities this book alone alone generates will send your imagination reeling.
Any J.T. Geissinger fans will anticipate Eva and Naz’s happily ever after but will know that it will come hard fought, but oh so worth it!
All in all an episode not to be missed!
A stunning conclusion to Naz and Eva’s story. This is the third and final installment which picks up directly after the previous book, Dangerous Desires, so this series MUST be read in order. In this book, you get an unfettered view of the villain, Dimitri. There are some dark and disturbing scenes with Dimitri and Eva which are offset by the lighter, humorous scenes with Naz and his cohorts. Because of what she goes through, you get an in depth view of Eva’s strength of will to survive as well as her cunning to work circumstances to her benefit. Poor Naz. You will want to empathize with his frustrations as he tries to protect Eva. But everything comes to an explosive and happy end thanks in part to Killian. (I sincerely hopes Killian gets a story!)
I received a free copy from Netgalley. This is my honest review.
After that nail biting cliffhanger in book 2, Dangerous Beauty, I have been waiting for this one with baited breath! Dangerous Games starts right where we left off and it was non-stop suspense, drama and some difficult scenes. I have to be completely honest and say that I skimmed through quite a few of these scenes. I was, however, in awe of how strong Eve was, mentally and physically, throughout the book. Being in the hands of her tormentor again and not knowing what had happened to Dimitri must have been excruciating, but she did not give up.
Even though they are apart for quite awhile, the love they have for each other definitely shines through. This book was much more difficult to read, but there were some scenes that really lightened it up too. A specific secondary character did not bother me in this book as he did in book 2, I actually really hope to get his story.
Overall, Dangerous Games was a great conclusion to what was an amazing series.

* ALL. THE. STARS *
Oh, how I couldn’t wait to read this story, the conclusion to the Dangerous Beauty trilogy. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait and then some! J.T. Geissinger masterfully weaves a tale of darkness, angst, and danger, giving readers exactly what they’ve been waiting for with this final installment of the series. Please note that Dangerous Games is NOT A STANDALONE! It picks up exactly where Dangerous Desires left off and trust me when I say you will not be able to put it down! If you haven’t read the first two books, STOP and please go back to read the series from the start.
Geissinger gives readers everything they could want and more with this story. Just when you think you know what is coming, the story will veer off and take you in a different direction. It’s exciting, it’s heartstopping and you’ll be on the edge of your seat, dying to know how the plot plays out. Be prepared for plenty of heartbreaking moments but just know that Geissinger doesn’t leave her readers hanging, giving us the perfect ending to this dramatic series. To balance out the darkness, she laces the story with humor throughout, creating the perfect balance. Naz and Eva will surely steal your heart! I just hope and pray that Geissinger one day will give us Killian’s story. I NEED more of Killian in my life!!! Until then, I’ll revel in the little nuggets she gave us about this total enigma!
She saved the best for last!!! This is the third book in the Dangerous Beauty series. This book starts exactly where the last book ended. OMG I was on edge so much I couldn’t sit still. Dimitri is evil personified. A lot of the book is so hard to read I had to put it down. The abuse Eve goes through is horrendous. It was a roller coaster ride of emotions. Thank goodness we got the comic relief in the midst of everything else. Through all the urgency Nasir,Killian and Doc’s back and forth banter was hilarious. Justice was definitely served. As much as it took to get to the end it was so worthwhile. Now onto Killian’s story PLEASE!!!!
Dangerous Games is the last book of the Dangerous Beauty trilogy by JT Geissinger. You must read the first two books since they’re interconnected.
The second book Dangerous Desires ended with a huge cliffhanger that promised lots of suspenseful events in this last installment. And sure enough, JT did not disappoint us by delivering an emotional roller coaster, a heart pounding thriller that was packed with actions, sufferings and constant fight against the devil. For the first time since this series started, we got to witness first-hand the absolute cruelty and brutality of the sickest and most monstrous villain ever ! So beware of the violence on the page!
On the bright side, the love/hate bromance between Killian and Naz was just too adorable , and their banter was so much fun to read. Killian appeared again just as mysterious as before, but regardless of his true identity, he cared deeply for Eva and joined force with Naz to protect Eva. And our dearest loveliest Eva… She’s transformed into the toughest warrior through all these ordeals and torture, become her own knight in shining armor . She was strong, brave, kind-hearted, intelligent, and especially resilient. Her emotional reunion with Naz and their HEA were truly, truly hard earned and well deserved.
As with her previous works, JT has showcased her exceptional talents, delivering another beautifully crafted story, unfolded layer after layer of what seemingly were hopeless situations at the time. The way she developed her main characters, particularly Eva, was so natural and well done. You can feel a different, stronger, Eva emerging toward the end of the series.
An absolute 5- for this book as well as for the entire series! This final installment is such an epic conclusion for a rocky yet beautiful adventure for Naz and Eva! It’s full of love, emotions, with much pain, suffering, and admirable fighting spirit. I have enjoyed this series and their journey tremendously. My heart burst with joy, and I cried my happy tears for them . Now, I want more Killian, please…
*ARC received from publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.*
This is the third and final installment of Naz and Eva’s story! I picked it up today and I could not put it down until the very last word! It will have your heart racing, breaking, and soaring! Old This is the third and final installment of Naz and Eva’s story! I picked it up today and I could not put it down until the very last word! It will have your heart racing, breaking, and soaring! Old and new friends will come to aid these two as they continue their journey! Thank you for writing a kick ass heroine who can be her own white knight! I am really jonesing for Killian’s story now more than ever. JT Geissinger, you continue to amaze me! Thank you for writing Barney aka Nassir aka Superior Man’s book! It was definitely worth the wait! 5 amazing stars
To say this final book is action packed would be an understatement, folks. Here’s a couple pieces of advice: #1. Better brace yourself for some very graphic abuse (mental and physical) inflicted upon this already been to hell and back before heroine. I actually wish some of that had been less frequent/reigned in. #2 Read the books in order. This book is not meant to be a stand-alone. #3 Prepare to be even more swept off your feet by the love this main couple have for each other. Each book keeps solidifying that bond, even when they have been parted against their will. It is an epic, undying kind of love. If steam is your thing, well, you certainly get some up close and personal smexiness late in the story line.
Naz is once again determined not to give up on his Eva. He proves over and over he’ll put his life and heart on the line to keep his lady love.
Eva shows us first hand she’ll never give up or surrender to the devil of a monster who is insanely possessed with an obsession to control/own her mind, body, and soul. Fortunately, even an OTT evil villain can be defeated.
It is killing me here not to go on a fangirling rave about Killian, an awesome James Bond like sub-character, who made cameo appearances a couple of times. We first met him in book 2, Dangerous Desires, and I simply cannot get enough of his awesome, man of mystery manliness. Here’s to hoping he gets his own series, my fellow romance book loving friends, sooner rather than later. He certainly needs his own kind of Eva in his life.
Title: Dangerous Games, Series: Dangerous Beauty (Book 3), Author: J.T. Geissinger, Pages: 221, should read all 3 books in order, not a stand-alone, strong, resilient heroine with abusive past, determined to save/be with her alpha hero, graphic disturbing abuse, violence, unstoppable love/soul mates, OTT evil villain, heroine is beaten/tortured/almost raped/threatened with rape a lot.
Book 1 – Dangerous Beauty
Book 2 – Dangerous Desires
Book 3 – Dangerous Games
(I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was not given any payment or compensation for this review, nor is there any affiliation or relationship between this reviewer and the author/publisher/NetGalley.)
This third installment in the Dangerous Beauty trilogy picks up exactly where Dangerous Desires leaves off, with the return of Dimitri. Being forced to return with him, Eva’s determined more than ever that she won’t let him destroy her.
This was a hard story to read, it’s dark, twisted, and has all the triggers. It’s so fantastically well written, with so many twists and bombs, it’s hard to write a good spoiler-free review. In the previous books, Eva has hinted at the evil that is Dimitri, in this final book, we actually get to see what she was talking about. My heart was so broken for her and all that she’s endured. This book is such an emotional roller coaster with the ending being so much sweeter because it was so hard fought for by Naz and Eva. With all the darkness and sadness, there is some humor, especially when Killian reappears. Overall this is a fantastic romantic suspense trilogy that will keep you guessing what’s going to happen next.
