This conclusion to Naz and Eva’s story in the Dangerous Beauty series has everything you would expect from J.T. Geissinger with non-stop action, danger, evil, violence, heartache, betrayal, determination, heroism, triumph, and love, so much love. Naz is one of my favorite alpha heroes as well as a favorite romantic heartthrob. I only wish we could have had more of him. And Eva we all know is nothing short of a miraculous survivor. Together they are such an intense, but also fun, combination. You can’t help but be on their side. We also got more Killian in this story along with one of his allies. He still is annoying to me, but thankfully, he seems to be one of the good guys. I have a feeling we may not have seen the last of Killian. There is one little issue that kind of disappointed me, but it would be a big spoiler, so I can’t discuss it in this review. Sorry about that, but you’ll just have to read the story and see if something happens that you wish had happened differently. If you haven’t read the first two books, you’ll have to do that first and then dig right into this one. You will not be disappointed in the series.
I received an ARC of this book and my review was written voluntarily.
Uh….wow!! What an ending to this series. I absolutely enjoyed Eva and Dimitri so much. I’m so sad to see it end but it was definitely worth the long night reading sessions. If you haven’t read the previous books, I suggest you do before reading this one.
Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Unpredictable down to the last chapter! Book 2 leaves off on quite a cliffhanger with Eva deciding if she’s going to answer the door or not. Book 3 picks up right from that exact scene. Thankfully I didn’t have to wait because all of the books are out!
Unpredictable suspense keeps you rushing through page, after page, after page. When Eva’s past finally catches up to her Cillian and Naz must find a way to work together or she may not make it out alive. While Eva is stuck back in her living nightmare the men butt heads over how to handle the situation. Their arguments are blunt, sarcastic and hilarious all at the same time. It’s almost as good as the fun loving banter between Naz and Eva.
I thought I knew how this book was going to end but I was so wrong. I love a good suspenseful romance and this one soars right towards the top of that list for me! Great ending to a great series.
The final installment of Nasir and Evalina’s story is pretty epic! It starts with a gunfight and kidnapping, and doesn’t slow down until the very end. Although all of JT’s books end in happily ever afters, I wasn’t so sure it would ever get there with this one. Eva’s Russian mobster/monster ex, Dimitri, has so much playtime that it was hard to imagine anyone surviving his sadistic amusements. But Eva has faith and courage and her will to live carries her to a happily ever after. The road is rough and the love is well earned! This story is so compelling and gritty that you will want to finish it in one sitting. And as always, JT gives you a taste of the next beefcake(s). Will it be the darkly seductive spy who I think of as the “Dread Pirate Roberts” or the quiet, fearless Russian mobster who may be Inigo Montoya?? (Must love “The Princess Bride” references)
I enjoyed the conclusion of Naz’s and Eva’s story. A little bit of a nail biter from time to time, but everything wrapped up nicely.
Ok, so I LOVED the first two books in the series. The romance was great and the excitement was there. I was really looking forward to the ending.
But I was kinda let down.

I felt like Eva spent way too much time being tortured by Dimitri. Naz spent all his time complaining about being injured. Killian disappeared only to reappear at the end not seeming to have done much. Dimitri wasn’t even taken out by Naz and the big, exciting rescue I was hoping for never happened. Their reuniting was okay, but not super exciting.
Trigger warning: There were a lot of graphic descriptions of the things Dimitri did to Eva.
I feel like this could have been a duet and it would have been much better.
I still loved Naz and Eva and that’s why I gave 4 even though I didn’t super love the ending.
I devoured the last two books in this trilogy in two days and LOVED it! Granted, I started this as part of a request to review but ended up glooming this last one on my own and WOW what an ending. Eva finally came into her power and stood up for herself. Make sure you read these in order! Naz and Eva are truly a couple who deserve each other and even though this author made them work for it, they earned their happy ever after. I would like to see Killian in a future book and see him brought down by a strong and independent woman, oh what fun that could be! I highly recommend this trilogy!
Love the narrators on this one!
It took me quite a while to be able to review this one because I have mixed feelings.
On one hand, this book kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. It was fast-paced and thrilling. This one started right where the previous one left off. Eva wanted to end Dimitri’s chapter once and for all, especially for the realization she had in the end of the last book. Eva was amazing, I loved her. She was bad-ass, and her actions were commendable. She was smart, remained calm and did what she needed to, to survive.
Naz was frustrated in not being able to go after Eva. I could feel his emotions flowing off the page, especially because he had to depend on Killian.
On the other hand, one of my favourite parts in the first 2 books was Naz and Eva’s interactions; which this one was missing. Even though, the love between them was never in doubt, they only met towards the end of the book. I realize why this was needed, as Eva needed to deal with Dimitri herself; but I can’t help be disappointed.
The ending was perfect. Hands-down the best conclusion Naz and Eva’s story could have had. You have to read it yourself to fully appreciate it.
Overall, this book shows Geissinger’s skills as a writer and story mapper. I definitely recommend this series <3
Side Note: I hope we get Killian's book!!
Ok, when I started this I didn’t realize that it was book 3 of a trilogy following the same couple. That being said, I had already started reading the book and was sucked in and HAD to know what happened. It had great characters with lots of suspense and humor. Overall a good book, I will now have to start over and read the series starting with book one.

Ruthie –
Oh. My. Goodness.
This is the third and final book in a trilogy, and there is no doubt that you must read them in order. I finished this a couple of days ago, but had to calm down a bit before I could review it!
We have known from very early on just how evil and perverted Dimitri is but being a witness to it, is absolutely horrible. If you are of a delicate disposition, this part of the story may just push you over the edge. I had to stop and close the page a few times and remember it is fiction.
Geissinger does a fantastic job of catching up the reader who read the last installment when it came out and may have forgotten the intricacies over the months. In every other respect, Naz and Eva have been on my mind, wondering how on earth she will be able to free herself of her past, and have a chance at the happily ever after that they both so richly deserve.
Incredibly satisfyingly resolved, and definitely placed on my To Re-read List. Thank you, J.T. Geissinger (even if you made me very uncomfortable!).

In this, the conclusion to Eva & Naz’s journey, Eva turns up the dial on her fierceness, making me in awe of her even more. She knows she has to be tough if she’s to survive what Dimitri has in store for her. And she has to do it all without her beloved Naz. Yes, they’re separated for a lot of Dangerous Games, and it’s awful, but it does really give the reader a chance to get to know Eva even better. And she shines, she is so amazing here and I loved every single second of her being the fierce badass woman she is.
Meanwhile Naz is doing his best to cope without Eva, but he’s plotting and planning how best to get back to her, with more than a little help from the oh so mysterious and awesome Killian. On a side note, can I just say that I need Killian’s story now? He’s so mysterious and so intriguing. I just know he’s got a serious backstory and I’m really hoping it’s next. But back to Naz, let’s just say he doesn’t do well apart from his love. But when they come together, it’s epic and I am so glad they got their happily ever after. If ever a couple deserved one, it’s Naz and Eva because their story, especially this conclusion, is dark and intense and suspenseful. I really think that J.T. Geissinger’s writing got even better in this trilogy. So glad Barney (that’s how I’ll always think of him since the days with the Bad Habit crew) found the love of his life and she is the perfect match for him. Ooooh and there was a cameo of Nico by way of Naz’s little mention and a little honorary name in the epilogue. If J.T. were to write a reunion story between the boys and Naz, I’d be the first one to read!
WOW. How Eva came through this ordeal without PTSD I have no idea! She is an incredibly strong woman. I did struggle with a few threads that I felt were left dangling. Also, there was so much trauma, I would like to have seen them experience a bit more happiness. While the epilogue was great, I wanted more. I love this writer and did enjoy the journey of Naz and Eva as a whole.
Dangerous Games by J. T. Geissinger is book Three in the Dangerous Beauty Series. This continues the story of Nasir ‘Naz’ and Evalina ‘Eva’, so you really should read the first book ‘Dangerous Beauty’ and the second book ‘Dangerous Desires’ first to fully enjoy this one. This book starts where we left off in the previous book. Dimitri is hot on finding Eva which sets the tone for this book of Naz having to send Killian to go forth to get her back since he isn’t able too.
This has been a very exciting read. My heart has broken for Eva and what she has had to go through. This book is not for the faint of heart with her abuse but it warms with the love she finds.
Thrilling conclusion to this dark and intense trilogy! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!
Dangerous Games was a remarkably quick paced action story filled with incredible strength demonstrated by the heroine, Eva. That woman had been so much, she’d reached her limit of endurance. She was ready to fight back and get every bit of revenge she dreamed about.
Picking up from the moment where Dangerous Desires left off from this book instantly transported me into the where Eva is facing her worst nightmare while Naz is just feet away. From there the conclusion to hers and Naz’s story is filled with action, suspense and occasional highly emotional levels of fear. For me and the characters. Not already know what was going to happen or afraid of what would…I kept finding my eyes scanning further down the page – just for reassurance or peace of mind .
Eva’s true strength came out in the end. Her will to not just live but to SURVIVE. Her need to fight back and stand toe-to-toe with the villain in her life. To take back that power he took from her. And man, did she. She was incredible!
Dangerous Games was the perfect conclusion to this high octane fueled love story!!!
DANGEROUS GAMES is the third and final instalment in JT Geissinger’s contemporary, adult DANGEROUS BEAUTY dark, romantic suspense trilogy focusing on former Special Ops military man and security specialist Nasir ‘Naz’ Mansouri, and Evalina ‘Eva’ Ivanova. DANGEROUS GAMES should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff-hanger of book two Dangerous Desires. The Dangerous Beauty series is a spin-off from the author’s BAD HABIT series. You do not have to have read the previous series to follow the current time line.
WARNING: DANGEROUS GAMES contains scenes of obsession, sexual cruelty, slavery, abuse and torture, and may not be suitable for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Naz and Eva) DANGEROUS GAMES picks up immediately after the events of book two Dangerous Desires wherein Eva’s past has found our couple, leaving Naz wounded and dying, and our heroine about to face the atrocities of a man who believes Eva is fair game. Knowing what awaits her future, Eva battles between head and heart believing her lover is dead, and her ‘master’ is about to destroy what’s left of her world.
Naz Mansouri is dead, for all intents and purposes, but staying under the radar means having the benefit of no one looking for him as he hunts for Eva Ivanova. Along with Naz’s boss Connor and his wife Tabby (Wicked Sexy –Wicked Games), and Killian, a man with the ability to ferret our information and the whereabouts of our story line couple, Naz begins to unravel the clues, clues that will lead to the woman he loves.
DANGEROUS GAMES is a suspenseful story of power and control; of sexual obsession, ownership and cruelty; emotional and physical abuse; retribution and love. JT Geissinger pulls the reader into an energetic, heart breaking, raw and gritty story of entitlement and delusion with a strong heroine who endures more than anyone could have ever imagined.
What an amazing ending to this trilogy – or is it really the end? This book picks up right where Dangerous Desires left off, in the middle of a very suspenseful scene. Phew, we got out of that one ok. Although I’m not usually a big fan of cliff hangers, the way this series is written made it all worth it. A HEA that you will hang on for awhile.
True love doesn’t come with any catches.
Witty, unpredictable, realistic characters, twists and turns in the plot line that keep you guessing until the end. I think what I love most is that Eva doesn’t wait in a tower, hoping her prince will come and rescue her. She’s a strong female lead who is ready to take her own fate in her hands. I really hope we haven’t seen the end of Naz and Eva. Somehow, I feel like we will see them again.
Go one click this entire trilogy. You won’t regret it!
Fast paced and full of surprises! What a great story! This is the last in the trilogy and so worth the wait! The hea was perfect!
I can’t believe Dangerous Games is finally here!
When I got my hands on it, I was dying from excitement to read it. After being left hanging with the previous books in the series, my heart’s biggest desire was to read about Naz and Eva finally being together. This series has been a journey of a lifetime. I fell in love with the characters from the moment I met them in Dangerous Beauty and that love, even though it felt impossible, only increased with every turn of the pages in the following installments.
Dangerous Games was almost everything I wanted it to be. And I’m saying almost, because, I couldn’t get enough of them and would have wanted to see more of them together in this story. Having said that, I loved everything else in the book. The suspense, the intrigue, it all had me on the edge of my seat wondering where the next blow my mind moment would come from.
One of the things I love the most is how strong these characters are, specially Eva. She’s endured so much and has to endure so much more, but she never loses hope nor sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. She’s a remarkable woman.
And then we have Killian and Naz, I love these two so much and even if Naz truly stole my heart, I’m hoping we get a story for Killian, I want to explore his mind and his life.
A brilliant, thrilling and emotional story.
4.25 stars Eva’s journey from imprisonment to freedom and back to being captive is chronicled. But this is captivity by a rich, evil, diabolical man who feels that she is his property to abuse as he wants. But. The story of Eva and Naz, the man she fell in love with while free, is the heart of this book and was my favorite part of this trilogy.
Dangerous Games is the final installment in this author’s Dangerous Beauty trilogy. I was really excited to finally learn how the main characters, Eva and Naz, would get their happy ending. The story jumps right into the action. As the last book was smack in the middle of everything when it ended, I was happy to see that there was no lag in the storytelling. Eva’s worse nightmare is upon her, as she is back in the hands of the most evil villain that I’ve read about in quite awhile. This man kept her imprisoned for years prior to her escape. Because of this, after being taken again, the book is the darkest of the series and was uncomfortable to read at times. To imagine that such monsters probably actually exist and see his handiwork was hard. Naz was horribly injured during a shootout, so Killian comes back into the story. Killian is some sort of super spy, agent or assassin with a soft spot for Eva. Naz, against his better judgement, had to allow Killian to try and save Eva. And I think I will stop with most of the details there. No spoilers!
I continued to love Eva and Naz. Each were strong characters with flaws, especially Naz, and I enjoyed any scene that they were in together or apart for that matter. I say that Naz is flawed, but it’s the flaw of a horrible temper, especially when bad things happen to Eva. He’s hardheaded to the extreme. But it worked, because it was all about his love for Eva. It’s the most difficult thing for him to have to ask Killian to help him, but he does it anyway. Eva wasn’t going to let her evil ex torture her for long, and she stood up to him like she never had before. So she was way stronger after learning how good it could be to be free and it helped her. Killian flat out just needs his own book. His character is so nuanced, so interesting, that I have to have more.
And speaking of more, I just wish it had been longer as it was a shorter than normal read, but not a novella. I mean, I don’t know what else could possibly happen because so much does, but it would have been a definite plus to have more, because I’m greedy like that. And lastly, I just wish that Eva and Naz had more time together on the page. The story had to go where it went and Eva had to leave, but it just feels like we didn’t get enough time with them together. At least I didn’t.
J.T. Geissinger continues to amaze me with her writing skills. All of her work is nothing short of amazing and this book and trilogy fits right in. There’s not as much banter in this one due to the dark nature of a big portion of this, but there still is some and I enjoyed it as always. There’s violence, sexual situations and plenty of action and the pace was fast the closer you get to the end. I should warn you that these books go in order so if you try and read this without reading the others, you will be completely lost. I would highly recommend this and the entire trilogy to adult romantic suspense readers or contemporary romance for that matter. Great end to the trilogy!
