She knows what she’s looking for in a man. And if she doesn’t get it, she’ll send you on your way with a fond farewell and a fruit basket. Cass is AWESOME, foul mouthed, outrageous and fit’s the nick name. Mason has realized his life is not what he wants and the exact opposite of his nick name. Sunshine and Crazy are just that to each other. This is this author’s second book and it is such an amazing read. These characters just work. Even with her foul mouth which yes is sometimes offensive it just fits her personality and it fits the book. We asked for more of Cassidy and we got it in spades. This is well written and such an amazing story. As wild and crazy as Cass is I was afraid I would be inundated with sex, fortunately that’s not what this story was about and it was a fantastic read.
As a new author she is hitting the scene hard and furious with wonderful, well written and edited tales. Love it and can’t wait for more.
Amali Rose managed to get my heart to skip a beat or three in the 1st book of this series Under the Cherry Blossoms. In Dandelion Dreams she gives one of our favorite side characters her own story. Although listed as book #2 in the Fleurs d’armour series, it is a stand-alone story.
Mason is a driven young CEO of a firm currently in need of a secretary, and Cassidy has quite a different office personality than he is used to. Amali Rose presents these two characters who although doing well in their lives are dealing with their own internal conflicts of honoring memories or trying to live a life for others instead of a life they want.
Cassidy is loud, rambunctious and outgoing, with a past that’s made her wary of the idea of love. Early on we learn her heart is broken tragically and for her, truly opening up has been impossible, until she begins working for Mason.
Mason faces the challenge in finding time for a relationship while being a CEO. He also wants to prove to, what he considers, a stubborn mother he can take care of her while she wants him to take care of himself.
The chemistry between these two characters is all sparks and that’s before any of the scenes that make you sweat a bit. Amali Rose has a way of striking such a great balance between romance, drama, laughter and heartbreak, as many times as I found myself laughing at Cassidy’s expletives, of which there’s no shortage, I found myself taken aback by how much fear she has to open up again.
I adored Ben and Skye but Cassidy and Mason were so much more. I LOVED Cassidy’s smart mouth and how Mason handled her with ease. I love the little jokes she played on him. These two had me laughing, swooning, and even crying. A definite must read!!
This story is a amazing read that has amazing chemistry between the the love found throughout this story. This story will have you hooked and loving this story from the very first page tell the ending.
Cassidy (CJ) Jensen’s life turned upside down 9 years ago with the death of her boyfriend Aidan Bonefield and she has held onto his memory tight. She never lets any guy get too close and no one can ever compare to him. Her best friends Skye and Wyatt want her to find the right gut but Cassidy is hesitant to get hurt again.
Mason Alexander is best friends with Ben and he is the CEO of Cook Enterprises. He desperately needs a new assistant to help keep everything in order but he is struggling finding the right one. He agrees to hire Cassidy as a favor to Skye and Ben but has no idea what he is really getting into.
As Mason and Cassidy begin to “butt heads” they also realize that they have chemistry that is bound to explode. Will Cassidy allow Mason to be the one to heal her heart or will she push him away when he gets too close?
This was such a great book and I love Cassidy so much!
Cassidy was such an interesting character as she had so much individuality and wasn’t afraid to be herself but at the same time she also never let any guy in too close after losing Aidan. She never backed down from anything and loved to pull pranks which continually had me laughing. I loved that she named “Princess”.
Mason was a little bit more complex as he wasn’t necessarily living his own dreams but felt obliged to help out his mom as much as possible as she was a single mom to him. I loved how he truly cared about Cassidy and wanted to be with her but he had no clue on why she held back at times. I loved that he took the time to do things for her, like the baking class.
The chemistry between Cassidy and Mason was through the roof from the copier to when they got home from their business trip!!
I understood the end on why Cassidy was disappointed in Mason but I do think she used it as an excuse more than anything. The end had me nervous for sure but I loved what Ben and Skye were able to do to get everything right again!! – By Rebecca
Dandelion Dreams was Cassidy and Mason’s Story…these two were everything! A true example of opposites attracting a while hilarity ensues. I couldn’t have loved this book and this story more; I definitely recommend Dandelion Dreams to any and everyone
Mason and Cass’ story blew me away! I adore everything about Cass and that personality she has, she’s so genuine and so natural that you can’t help but laugh at her antics and views on life. Mason is absolutely to die for. This man is tough and a workaholic yet soft and caring all at once. The sexual tension between these two had me turning the page dying to know will they of won’t they, there’s a friendship being built are they going to cross that line? Loved every single second. Beautifully written and relatable. Cannot wait to see what’s to come in the future. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
Cassidy, wow, what is there to say. I loved her, how can you not?!?! I loved keeping track of Skye and Ben also! Hoping Red and Layla get theirs too 🙂
I enjoyed this book and do recommend. The characters have a cute banter with each other, I had a little bit of a hard time relating, but it was sweet. The story was well developed and flowed well and love the HEA ending. This is my first book by this author and I do look forward to reading more.
Dandelion Dreams by Amali Rose was a smart-ass, grab you by the seat of your pants and hang on for the ride, thrilling, quirky romance. I loved her main character Crazy, aka Cassidy. Her life is crazy, she is loud, brass, crass and just totally obnoxious at times but is exactly what Mason needs to pull him away from his workaholic, uptight ways. Neither of them is doing what their hearts desire as far as career paths go but it takes meet each other for that realization to finally sink in and them having each other to finally take that final plunge to make changes. Mason comes across as a jerk in the beginning but is a total softie underneath. I’ve never read Amali Rose before but I’m definitely adding her to fav author pile. She has wonderful wit, a great sense of humor and I love her swear words and made up name calling words LOL. This book put me in a great mood reading it. I was calling everyone all these random words for the rest of the day, it was wonderful!! 😀 She definitely added to my vocabulary, which I loved! I love a book that can make me laugh out loud! I was given an ARC for my honest review!
This book was so well written that I was totally glued to my kindle from the turn of the very first page and the characters were so well fleshed out that as I turned each page I was being drawn deeper and deeper in as Mason and Cassidy’s story unfolded!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
