Hanging up your dance shoes isn’t so easy when you can’t let go of your former dance partner.Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Adam’s story …Single Dad of Seattle, Adam Eastwood, knows … Dad of Seattle, Adam Eastwood, knows that dance school is just the thing for his precocious daughter, Mira. She already spends most days twirling around the house in a tutu and tiara, why not pay a professional to teach her how to do it properly? Only Adam didn’t account for that professional to be the Violet Benson from a very famous New York ballet company. Not only is Violet a natural beauty who floats more than she dances, but she’s the kind of woman Adam’s been searching for all his life.
Grieving the loss of her dance partner and boyfriend, Violet is done with performing on stage. How can she go on when the love of her life is no longer there to catch her? Deciding a change is best, she moves back home to Seattle, determined to fulfill their dream of opening up a dance school. It’s not until she’s asked to dance for Art in the Park that she realizes maybe she’s not quite ready to hang up her dance shoes. Would it be wrong to take the stage one last time? It must be wrong to feel what she feels when she’s dancing with Mira’s handsome father.
Adam’s wounds are still fresh from his divorce, and Violet’s dealing with a loss of her own, but somehow they keep winding up in each other’s arms with neither of them willing to let go. But it’s never easy to conquer the past.
Will Violet let fear and grief keep her from her dreams? Or will Adam convince her that the show must go on and dancing with the single dad might just be the way for her to find her happily ever after?
**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

Book Two in The Single Dads Series is going to take your emotions and put them through the ringer.
So many emotions ran through me as I read this book, it was happy, sad, intense and calm, tragic and then overwhelming hopeful.
Violet is a dancer, a ballet dancer, or she used to be. After the death of her partner and boyfriend, she is lost, confused and grieving. Now deciding she will never perform again, she turns to her dance studio, the dream of her passed away love. Violet is faced with so much sadness in her life and then one day, something new happens.
Or rather, someone.
Adam is a single dad with daughter Mira, the light of his life. After ending a marriage Adam focus is on keeping his daughter, happy and healthy. On the first day of dance class, Adam is blind sided by the beautiful dance teacher.
Adam and Violet quickly give into the chemistry they have and boy oh boy do sparks fly. I loved this so so much, I can’t wait to read the next!!
This is beautiful story focused on a second chance at love. Adam and Violet are trying to heal from their own past hurts, but can they do that together?
It is the type of story that clutches you at once and doesn’t release you until you get to the end – then you find yourself pining over the fact that the book has ended.
I loved how the relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways they never expected.
I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
It’s so amazing to be able to devour a book and know that we have the second one waiting to be read soon after. I know how I like it so I guess everyone thinks the same thing.
And to top all that, if it’s a book from an author that I truly love it’s freaking awesome.

Dancing with the single Dad is her latest release and it’s the second book from the Single Dads of Seattle series… And what a start it was. This new book explores the lives of Adam and Violet.
Adam is a single Dad, that divides his time between the lice of his life, his daughter, his work and his friends. He doesn’t want to give his heart again, mainly because it was ripped out of his chest by his ex-wife but sometimes… When he takes his daughter to her first dance class…
Violet is a former dancer that not only lost her dance partner but also her joy to perform. She lost the love of her life and that left permanent marks.
Her new goal was to open her dance school and try to find joy again…
So perfect. So intense. So beautiful. This book just stole my heart.
Superb plot, very well written, super engaging and intense. It was sad to witness their struggles, to witness their suffering but it was beautiful to see the way they turn out to be.
You might think that when you lose the love of your life that you’ve lost but you can’t give up. You must fight for better days.
This book presented us with love, loyalty, art, desire as well as loss, betrayal, and trauma. It came to reinforce the need to live, to smile, to dance.
It was a joy to see these two fighting for love, for better days. It was magnificent to witness all.
I’m even more in love with this series and I need more.
Whitley… When will we get the next one? I need to see more and after reading the sneak peek I’m even more curious…

The next installment of Whitley Cox’s The Single Dads of Seattle is another story of overcoming heartache and finding hope where you least expect it.
Violet is reeling from what life has handed her, and her family. It wasn’t enough to lose her dance partner, but he was her partner in every way, the get love of her life, even if they weren’t married. She also lost her dad and her sister-in-law in the same period. So her brother, Mitch and his daughter, and Violet move back to Seattle to support each other and their mother.
Violet is now on the cusp of bringing both her and her partner’s dream to life with her new dance studio. What she didn’t expect was Mira, and her sexy dad Adam, to be among her first classes.
Adam is still struggling with his divorce, and how he wasn’t able to support, and grieve with, his wife after a tragic loss of their own. He thought he was doing everything right, but she still walked away from him and Mira. Dance lessons seemed to be a perfect fit for his princess. What he didn’t count on is Violet.
As Adam and Violet learn to navigate their losses, and each other, something magical happens. But can they each overcome their fear, and the perceptions of those around them, to realize their dreams?
An absolutely fantastic second book in the “The Single Dads of Seattle” series and it is an engaging page turner! The storyline is well-developed, emotionally deep, and well written. There are twists, LOL moments, witty banter, and scenes that will melt your heart. It is a story of life after experiencing loss, second chances for three amazing people (Violet, Adam, and little Mira), and undeniable intense chemistry. Definitely recommended!

Adam is a Professor and single divorced dad and Violet recently lost her partner and decides to open a dance studio in Seattle. They meet when Adam enrolls his daughter Mira to Violets dance studio and there is an instant attraction between them. This is an emotional heartwarming story and a great addition to The Single Dads of Seattle series. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a beautiful love story.
When Adam’s little girl Mira takes her first dance class with the beautiful ballerina Violet, he knows that not only will Mira be swept off her feet. Follow the story of Adam and Violet as they stumble through the past, present and what the future will be amidst grief and guilt of moving forward. I loved this story and as a widower myself this story touched my heart so much. Everything that Violet went through is something that is so true to life. Mira was just adorable and I loved that little one so much. Great story and definitely one that I recommend.
This author has brought a story that packs everything I’ve ever needed in a romance novel. It has emotion, laughter, sweetness, chemistry and all around swooning in these pages. This is one of the most heart wrenching romances. Violet is opening her dance studio and still grieving the death of her partner, her father and sister in law. Adam is still trying to move on from his divorce. Adam’s daughter Mira joins the dance studio. It’s instant attraction between Violet and Adam . But are their heats and minds ready? 4 stars
Dancing with the Single Dad is my first foray into the world of Whitley Cox. With sexy single dads who love their little ones to distraction but also have a lot of love to give to that special woman, I doubt it’ll be my last.
Violet is still reeling from the sudden loss of her boyfriend from cancer but has just realized their shared dream of opening a dance studio. Every day she longs to dance with him again and his memory is everywhere but she knows she needs to move on. When she finds herself attraced to the sexy single dad of one of her dance students, she struggles with the guilt of leaving her life with Jean-Phillipe.
After the losses Adam and his wife endured, they just couldn’t find their way back to each other and he found himself divorced. He adores his prococious daughter but is still finding his way after becoming a single dad. Enrolling her in dance classes was supposed to be just for her but when Adam finds himself instantly attracted to the gorgeous dance instructor, he realizes it’s ok to have a little something for himself too.
Beautiful story of loss and redemption, love and laughter, heart breaking but tender and sexy at the same time. Great read!
