I thought leaving her in that room covered in her attacker’s blood would teach her a lesson.I thought she’d be more careful about her safety.Little did I know that she’s seeking the pain and humiliation.Well, it’s her lucky day, because pain is sort of my thing.I can hurt her much more than she’s able to hurt herself. The twist is we’ll both enjoy every second of it.
I never saw a title more fitting like this one, Dacing With the Devil is exactly what Kaci did with TJ.
If you remember TJ from the previous books, he is this bloddy guy who doesn’t care for anyone, he barely cares for his family and he only does it because the club is FAMILY and there is nothing more important than loyalty.
“I don’t like bleeding on the inside, Kaci. So, I’ll bleed on the outside for you.”
But for TJ Kaci is something more, she has something that he craves and soon he will find out what it is
This is not your typical sweet love story about a sweet gentleman trying to win a lady, thia stoey is crazy in its own way and it will let you craving for more.
I am happy with the story and the characters, all of them. I loved this series so much and TJ’s story is perfect doesn’t disappoint.
Wow! I don’t think I’ve met two more messed up broken characters before. They are perfect for each other, both so severely damaged that they need each other to calm down and breath.
We’ve all been waiting on TJ’s story and what a doozie it is. I loved how they both respond to each other and fill that empty space that the other needs filled. I’ve loved this series, so much I’ve read the other two books twice and can’t wait to read them all again.

In the previous book, we know that TJ did some club business and ended up becoming… a bit obsessed with Kaci. When TJ realizes that Kaci is in need of saving, he finds himself in a bit of a different position, for him that is. The last thing he would describe himself as is a white knight, but he is always making sure that Kaci is saved from whatever danger she has gotten herself into. When he decides enough is enough, he ends up taking her for her own good. In a story that gives f-ed up a new term, this story takes us into a web that we may never come back from.
I loved almost everything single thing that happened in this story. Tacos….. I am not a fan of tacos, lol. As I’ve said before I’m a burrito lover through and through. There are some really dark and dirty things that happen in this story, but for TJ’s story to be TJ thats what had to happen. I am so glad this stayed “true” to TJ. Marie James can write a story that will keep me hanging on until the last word. I give this 4.5 stars.

Dancing With The Devil is the third and final title in the Ravens Ruin MC series.
Whilst this title can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the previous titles first.
The whole Ravens Ruin MC series is dark and raw, and you can add slightly psycho and twisted when it comes to TJ.
TJ is a complex and intriguing character. He’s cold, heartless, deadly, depraved and vindictive. He has an affinity for blood and is more than a little bit kinky.
Appearances can be deceiving, TJ may be the devil in most people’s eyes but for Kaci he’s an angel and her saving grace. She’s broken and damaged, and TJ is drawn to her and her vulnerability and quite protective.
Whilst not my favorite of Marie James’ novels, I was drawn into this dark and intriguing story and look forward to seeing what she writes next.
Omg, Marie James hit it out of this park with this book. It has everything from craziness to violence to bad news.
I didn’t know what to expect with Kaci, but more I learnt about her more she was perfect for TJ.
I loved TJ and Kaci. Their dynamic and their craziness works.
I recommend this book.
Another Dark & Dirty Hit!!
It’s finally time for TJ’s story and this is one that surprised me because I didn’t he could redeem himself with me. Kaci also had her problems and together you had to wonder if they would ever find their way together through all of their darkness. This author sure knows how to write dark and gritty MC books and every one of them of been hits. If you haven’t read the first books in this series make sure you do!! It was soooo very worth it!!!
While most books and most subject matter doesn’t usually bother me, I really wasn’t sure how I’d feel about TJ’s story and his particular kinks. Knowing this MC is not the MC of the “good guys”, I couldn’t even imagine where Marie James would take us with him. Not only that, despite how gorgeous he is and how all the club “women” want him, I couldn’t even imagine that there’d be that woman that could invade his mind, heart and soul…that ONE. Whether or not Kaci IS that one remains to be seen (read, you must read for yourself to find out), but if ANYONE would be the one for TJ, it would be her. She is just as twisted as he is and her history is both heartbreaking and difficult to read. This all being said, I absolutely LOVED TJ’s story and can’t wait for more in the Ravens Ruin world.
So I am not going to lie TJ was not my favorite person as I was reading this series I honestly thought I was going to enjoy this book that much. I was completely wrong!!! TJ is by far my favorite out of all the guys he was not what you were expecting. I saw so much depth with these two characters I could not put this book down at all. Kaci was so hurt and broken but she was so sweet and kind and just everyone wanted to be around her. She didn’t deserve the stuff that had happened to her. I loved watching TJ come into himself and be the sweet guy and caring. He fell for Kaci right away when he was saving her from the same guys that tried to do something with his sister. This was by far my favorite book of the series!!
If nothing else, this book will make you realize that you should NEVER judge someone. You don’t know their life history and what they have been through. TJ and Kaci have each been thru so much. But when they come together it’s scary. So scary that when they each share their story with the other, it even takes them aback. I love how the Cerberus MC are mentioned. So glad I’ve read that series and know how it effects this story! The Ravens Ruin MC series is not for the faint of heart! It’s an eye opener into the depths of an MC! Sad to see this series come to an end, but it came full circle!
Let me start and say that Ioved this book. I didn’t think I would like as much as I did became some of the plot is not something I am into reading but Marie has made me a lover of TJ. No matter how I think a story is going to be about Marie James always makes me a lover of her books.
This is a fantastic series check out the book from the Ravens Ruin.
OMG! Marie James’s books just keep getting better and better. This series was amazing!
TJ’s story was a perfect ending, but I do hope we get to read more about these characters in the future. TJ was certainly my favourite and will hold a special place in my heart and Book shelf.
Dancing with the Devil shows a whole new side to TJ. You get to know his thoughts, secrets, and an insight into his past and present. Which has intrigued me from first reading about him. Loved every minute!
TJ meets his match in Kaci. She’s beautiful and just a broken as he is.
He’s totally captivated by her…
Can he make her his?
Don’t want to give too much away. I do recommend you read the other books in the series first though.
Before this book I just wasn’t a huge fan of TJ. Let me just say that he has been redeemed and I think he’s now my favorite! (Sorry Briar!) There was some really crazy turns of events in this one…and I loved it all! Couldn’t put it down!! Really sad that the series is over…I was looking forward to a book about Ronan. I’m still hopeful we will see him again!
I didn’t know Marie James could go so dark. But I loved it. I have loved all of her leading men previously, so I expected the same with TJ. What I got from this book and this character is so much more than I imagined. He was dark and twisted in his mind, but he was also considerate and protective and just awesome.
Kaci was also a different kind of leading lady than what I’m used to from Marie James. Her past was horrific. Her present actions are so layered and complex. And so often my heart broke for her. But as broken and damaged as Kaci and TJ were, they were great together.
I loved this book. I have loved this whole series so far and I really hope to see more of the Raven’s Ruin MC in future.
Two brokens may not make a whole but together they can rule their world.
TJ’s story was everything and more. I cried when Kaci told TJ what happened to her. Their story isn’t for the light hearted. It’s dark, twisted and heavy. You won’t be disappointed with Dancing with the Devil.
There hasn’t been a story from Marie that I didn’t like, I started this series a little backwords with reading book four first, it is a standalone but book 1 to 3 has some back story to the characters we read in this story.
This is about the youngest original Raven’s Ruin son TJ and Kaci.
TJ and Kaci meet under the worse conditions, but TJ was drawn to her from the start.
I couldn’t put this down, sad to see it being the end of the series.
I don’t even know where to start. I guess I’ll start with saying Dancing with the Devil was a great story, it was well written with a strong plot that was filled with so many feelings. It’ll keep you on the edge. It’s somewhat dark, twisted and more. Kaci and TJ were strong characters, both have been a lot in their lives especially TJ. Kaci and TJ both were drawn to each other, they had a pull, a connection that was strong, and the chemistry was sexy. Their relationship may have been intense but they were great together.
This was a great story, I enjoyed it. I’d recommend reading this book and the series, it’s great.
Thank you, Marie James. Great work 🙂
Dancing with the Devil (Ravin’s Ruin book 4) by Marie James 5 Stars
This is book 4 of the Ravin’s Ruin series. I highly suggest you read the books in order starting with Desperate Beginnings. This review may contain spoilers from the first three books. This series of books go in sequential order. The next book starts where the book before leaves off, each focusing on a different member of the Ravin’s Ruin motorcycle club member. Marie James has a way of making each book unique in many ways and different from the rest. I’ve read every book by this author and every time I start a new one, I get sucked into the story.
This series would be considered dark reads. This book in particular is the darkest of the series. TJ is the enforcer of the club and half brother of the President. He grew up in the club. His dad formed the club and hid nothing from his children. TJ is definitely the most psychotic of the bunch. He saw more in his early years than any civilian could even imagine. The club ways are all he knows and is loyal just like all the other Ravin’s Ruin members.
A couple of the members were on a mission and TJ became interested in the victim they saved. The MC members know not to keep secrets, it literally means the difference between life or death. TJ knows this more than anyone, but chooses to keep a huge secret from Prez, and the other members of the club. Throughout book three, the members and shores noticed a change in him. TJ is TJ and they didn’t really think much of it. He has his links and doesn’t hide that side of him from the club.
This book blew me out of the water! This is a must read series for anyone who loves dark reads or wants to try them out. It is not focused on the romantic side by any means. Pick up the first book and take a chance!
Wow, this book is nothing like I expected. TJ has been a jerk through out the series. I didn’t think he could redeem himself. But boy oh boy did he. Kaci has been blamed for the death of her little brother and then some. In complete self destruct mode, TJ is able to help her put her demons to rest while using his to do so. Amazing book. Broken people can find love too.
This story, the 4th in the Ravens Ruin book series is definitely not everyone’s love story. From start to finish the book is a little darker than what some readers would enjoy. It’s perfectly twisted, though, with just enough heart to make you really enjoy the characters. There are some serious triggers in this book for people who have suffered abuse or who have issues with sexual perversions. It’s 100 percent dark chocolate, not vanilla flavored at all and I loved every minute of this book. TJs version of love and protection makes your hair stand up and your panties get damp.
