BRIELLETechnically, I’m not a stripper. As a cage dancer, I don’t take all my clothes off and no one gets to touch me. I’m just the eye candy. And I can feel their eyes on me. I know they’re watching, but I don’t do this for them. This is my time.My life may not have turned out the way I thought it would, but I’m not complaining. From 9pm to 1am several days a week I get paid to feel sexy, to feel … feel sexy, to feel desired, to do what I love.
I always knew I wanted to be a dancer—I just didn’t realize I’d be doing it in a cage.
COLTON
Erectile dysfunction—two words that can cause a collective cringe from men everywhere. The doctors can call it ‘performance anxiety’ all they want, but that’s just a fancy way of saying my dck doesn’t work.
Just when I start to think there’s no hope for me, I see her. She’s gorgeous, sexy, and goofy as fck. She also looks really familiar but I can’t put my finger on it.
When I find out who she really is, my world is turned upside down and everything seems to fall into place.
She’s not gonna make it easy for me, but I’ve never been one to back down from a challenge. She’s convinced I won’t stick around.
I’ll prove her wrong.
I’ll show her I’m one of the good guys.
Although Dancer is the second book in the Good Guys series, it can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Oh my gosh! I really enjoyed this book. A fantastic friends to lovers romance. It was swoonworthy, sexy, silly, and adorable.
I loved the characters. Ellie has sacrificed everything and is still outgoing, sweet, and wanting more. Colton is not the perfect hero but sure is the sweetest and most understanding. I also have to say, little Ava stole the show. So. Stinking. Cute.
Well worth the read. I definitely recommend. Better than book 1 of this series.
Best friends growing up together, Colton and Ellie lost their other half when Colton and his father move away. Life has happened and they both have had their ups and downs. When a chance encounter brings them together, Ellie knows it is Colton but he is unaware who she is. Sparks fly and the truth comes out leading them both to finally feel complete. But will the baggage from her past stop the relationship in its tracks? Or will Colton be the knight in shining armor she so desperately needed? I absolutely loved these characters and the storyline was filled with laughter and honest feelings. A great second book in the series.
Dancer is the second book in Jamie’s A Good Guys Series. It can be read as a stand alone but I suggest you read Trucker since it gives so much info on Colton!
What a fun, sweet, sexy read!! This series truly stands behind its name! Every guy is beyond sweet; Colton is no exception! He steps right into every role without even being asked!
Brielle is a dancer, except her hours are at night and in a cage. Not exactly where she thought her life would end up but it pays the bills. When an old friend walks back into her life, will he be her knight in shining armor or will past relationships hold her back?
Colton isn’t having the easiest time with relationships. He is experiencing some ‘performance’ issues but when he sees Brielle dancing, his body comes to life. She seems so familiar but he can’t quite put his finger on it. After an amazing night, can lies be overlooked? When she comes clean as to who she is, will there connection be strong enough to survive?
Oh my…Colton!! He is truly amazing in every aspect. I’m not sure you can get closer to perfect! Can’t wait to see what Jamie has in store for her next book!!
I really loved this book. When a book makes me both laugh and cry, I know it’s a good one. Highly recommended.
Colton & Brielle, aka Ellie… SWOON! This story (along with book 1 about Travis & Angel) is one of my favorites of the year, or at all! It is, as mentioned, swoon-worthy sweet. It is steamy & sexy & adorable. It is LMAO funny! And it is so heartwarming that tears are inevitable, but they’re the good kind.
I absolutely have this on my re-read and recommendations shelf! Two thumbs up & 10+++ stars!
: )
I loved how easy it was between the two AND how hot! Colton is a truly good guy and I just loved them finding a happily ever after together! It was great seeing them blend together as a family and the commoderie between Brielle and Colton is beautiful. I absolutely loved this audiobook and want to read more by this author!
After reading Trucker, I couldn’t wait to start this book. Colton had me very interested and I wanted his story. And what a good one it was!
Dancer gave me all the things I love in a good book. Plenty of humor had me smiling and laughing. Emotional moments squeezed my heart. And the sexy parts…those definitely had me fanning myself.
Colton is the perfect mix of tough, sexy, and sweet. He made me swoon pretty hard. And Brielle was a perfect heroine – strong, beautiful, and a caring mother. And let’s not forget a certain 3-year old named Ava who sometimes stole the show. She was super adorable – loved her.
Great book! When I was done, I quickly purchased book 3 and dove right in!
** spoiler alert ** Brielle is a single mom doing what she can to raise her daughter. Colton can’t help but feel like something is broken. One chance encounter brings two friends back together. Will Colton remember who she is before it is to late? Will Brielle learn to trust that he won’t leave her behind?
OMG I loved these two. I loved that they shared a deep background, but had lost each other. I loved Colton’s goofy side and how he really took everything as it came and looked at the bright side. I loved how Brielle was with her daughter and when she finally let herself open up, loved the woman she was! Great read and cannot wait to read the next in this series!
Colton and Elle were best friends until Colton had to move away when they were 6. Colton is for a surprise when he takes Elle home from the club thinking she could just be a hookup for the night. When Colton figures out who Elle is the sparks fly off the pages . Elle gives Colton a run for his money when times get tough for the couple. Great friends to lovers romance .
I loved Elle and Colton, they are perfect for each other. Elle is a strong woman with some past hurts that cause problems in her future. I love an alternating POV between the two main characters. Both Colton and Elle have issues in their lives but together they are perfect. I love how Elle is searching for that sexy part of herself. This is definitely a book and series to follow. Definitely a must read.
Loved it!! Colton and Brielle were great! I could not wait to see where this story went and Jamie did not disappoint. Looking forward to the next book by Jamie Schlosser!
The bad boys may be fun from time to time, but it’s the good guys that will your heart.
Dancer is a friends to lovers and second chances love story. Colton and Brielle were best friends many years ago until Colton and his father moved away. Although they promised to always stay in touch, things changed and they lost contact.
Now so many years have passed, and fate has brought them together. Brielle instantly recognizes her long lost friend, but Colton doesn’t recognize her at first. But once he finally does, it’s like everything falls into place. Their connection is intense, pure, undeniable, and true. But Brielle’s got trust issues that could tear them apart if Colton can’t convince her he’s here to stay.
Jamie captures the reader right from the start with the strong connection that Brielle and Colton have. I loved how Colton knew that Ellie was special even when he didn’t know exactly who she was. And then when he did, I loved how completely in love with her is was. Their passion is electric in the bedroom, but its their intensity outside the bedroom that I shines through the pages.
I am enjoying this series and Dancer is my favorite so far. I loved Colton’s intense desire to not only love, but to protect Ellie. If you were to look up the definition of a good guy, Colton would be answer. But overall, I think it was Ava that stole the show.
I highly recommend this series and especially Dancer. Even if you haven’t started this series, then there is no time like the present to start since each can be read on their own.
I loved ‘Dancer’ even more than I loved ‘Trucker’. I’m so glad that I discovered this writer and her good guys series!
