Taken. Broken. Used.I was all of those things until I wasn’t.Thrust into a world I knew nothing about, I was forced to adapt.I didn’t expect to find my heart in such an evil place.Satan worshippers. That’s exactly what they were but the more I found out about Kellin, the more I wanted to see the real him.I shouldn’t have wanted a monster.I shouldn’t have craved his touch.I was about to dance with … touch.
I was about to dance with the devil and I was enjoying every sick second of it.

Dance With The Devil, Erin Trejo’s newest book, is different than anything she’s written yet. It’s a dark, gritty story that delves into life in a Satanic cult. There are some difficult, violent moments that are sometimes hard to read. And the main characters seem to struggle with their views of right and wrong and how those things apply to how they feel about one another. The story is intriguing and powerful and makes for an entertaining read. If you like a darker, almost taboo book, this one will definitely satisfy. 4 Devilish Stars!
I don’t know about anyone else, but the instant someone starts mentioning “cult” fiction, I cringe. I mean, it is such a touchy subject, and so many things can go down the proverbial drain. Dance With The Devil doesn’t, though. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, so to speak, but it does have a weirdly wonderful way of telling this story of life and death and the cult in between.
We are all dealt cards of fate when we are born into this life. What we do with them is what matters, even if you don’t exactly get to choose the choices they bring. You can love, hate, hide, escape, heal, or die by making a simple choice. Erin Trejo blew this one out of the water.

OH MY GOODNESS – What a dark intense satanic journey Ms. Trejo took me on with Dance With the Devil. It was like watching a scary movie – I wanted to yell Don’t Go There – but of course they do and it’s too late to back out.
This is a well written book that had me on a razor’s edge throughout, praying for the young who were trapped in a dark satanic lifestyle. Kellin was born into this way of life and Rose was captured and brought into the fold. Both are troubled by their past and current situations. Both need each other in inexplicable ways, trapped by their surroundings and their darkest desires.
This is an emotional journey that is told in Ms. Trejo’s unique style. While not normally a subject matter I enjoy, I found myself drawn to the storyline and rooting for any type of HEA. I highly recommend grabbing up Dance with the Devil. Just be prepared for a dark twisted ride. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.
A Twisted Dark Read
Kellin and Rose come from two different cult worlds where they brainwash by their people. This is a dark and crazy book that brought two totally different people together. The draw they had was unmistakable. This isn’t my norm for a book but with Ms. Trejo as the author I’m game for anything!
Can you dance with the devil? Well in you can in this book!
It was definitely not for the faint hearted. It is awesome for those who are a lover of dark and twisted reads. I just love it! Couldn’t put my kindle down. Flipped page after page, into the early hours, needing to know what happens next.
Kellin and Rose both come from totally different backgrounds. Yet they both have dark and twisted pasts. The question is, can they now survive the hell they have to go through at present?
So different from her other books…but not so different- consistently great storyline and storytelling and character development is fantastic (she makes you see all their flaws and insecurities and all their best features and then makes you fall in love with them. Kellan and Rose…sigh). Definitely recommend this book and author!
This dark story had me so intrigued as I turned every page of this well written and well planned plot with characters that were so well developed that Rose and Kellin kept me turning the pages until the very end!
WOW… this was one dark, twisted, f’ed up story that I couldn’t put down until the very end. Idk how Erin Trejo does it but she has mastered the dark side of writing perfectly!!
Wow! This is dark, intense, and absolutely amazing!! Rose and Kellin are two broken and damaged souls, both total opposites. Both coming from different cults, one dedicated to God and the other the devil. Rose and Kellin just seem to fit together. Erin surprises me with each book she writes and this one was truly amazing. A definite must read!
“I think I’ve just begun a dance with the devil himself.”
Dance with the Devil has a depth of darkness that will drag you through the pits of hell. Evil lurks around every corner or rather every page you turn. Filled with sinister and satanic rituals that will leave your heart pumping right out of your chest. It’s dark, thrilling and packed with the most devious torture.
“We are the spawns of the Devil. We are the darkness and soon you will be too.”
Erin Trejo after reading this book I too was pulled into the darkness.
I was a little uneasy preparing to read this book but once i took the dive i kept going until the end. If you are looking for book thats dark pick it up and read it.
Dance with the Devil is a dark and gritty book. Kellin and Rose are complete opposites; Kellin comes from a cult devoted to the Devil and Rose comes from a cult that is devoted to God but both cults brainwash their members. Kellin and Rose are drawn to each other even with all the evilness around them. I had no idea what to expect when I started reading this book, but it was a great twisted story with amazing characters.
What an intense read this was. I so wanted to hate Kellin, but couldn’t. Rose was such a sweet girl, and the stuff that poor girl lived thru was truly amazing. Actually what they both went thru is crazy, to think this is actually out there in the world and not just in pages, makes me so angry i want to help them all. As you can tell by my review this book sucked me right in at the very beginning, and could not put it down.
This book right here is not what I expected! I thought this was a twisted paranormal book and boy was I wrong! This book is about a satans cult and kids raised it in. Kellen is Satan son and he goes into the world to bring new slaves, Rose happens to be one of the new slaves, this book is CRAZY! It had me glued, I could not put it down, it almost reminds me of the Hulu show handsmade tale.

This was an unusual one from this author. The books I normally read from her are mostly dark and twisted MC books. But this was a different take on this dark and twisted world. It takes one to know one, when it comes to kellin and rose. Both nurtured into this life forced to follow a God that has been manipulated by their believers. Groomed to obey regardless of their internal feelings. I loved kellin’s draw to rose. Wanting to watch her whither to a weed, but even being overshadowed in his darkness. Her light shone better, making him rise from his groom. Great different read.
This book is super twisted. There maybe triggers for some people. It does make you believe in a brighter side.

This book follows to individuals through trauma and their attempt to recover. I’m so impressed with Erin Trejo’s ability to tell a story without making you want to judge the characters.

OMG, this is dark and absolutely freaking awesome, Kellin and Rose were two damaged individuals but after it all goes down you could tell the strength they both had, of course I was sad that one of the characters didn’t make it, but that was part of the story.
Loved it, does that make me weird, nope.

A great dark and gritty read from Ms. Trejo. This book takes you to a place that a lot of people do not want to acknowledge exists.
This about two people, who are polar opposites from each other but stil drawn together.
He’s the head mans son, and expected to take over the property and people, when he decides to either step down or dies. She’s a loner and a survivor of another cult on the other end of the spectrum. She has something that is drawing him in and messing with his head. He is the darkness and she is the light that lights up his soul.
Together they survive torture and abuse from the elders. They get out with the help of a friend. They come out the other side stronger together then apart. They are broken, but are piecing themselves back together.
They share=re a strong bond that heals them and their love blooms from there.
