Taken. Broken. Used.I was all of those things until I wasn’t.Thrust into a world I knew nothing about, I was forced to adapt.I didn’t expect to find my heart in such an evil place.Satan worshippers. That’s exactly what they were but the more I found out about Kellin, the more I wanted to see the real him.I shouldn’t have wanted a monster.I shouldn’t have craved his touch.I was about to dance with … touch.
I was about to dance with the devil and I was enjoying every sick second of it.

Okay wow! I’m genuinely speechless with this one, this book is not one of those books where the hero met his one and he decided to claim her for himself type of book, this is a book where you get put into situations beyond your control, you’ve adept to the situation to survive, you become what they wanted you be, life as you know is gone. You’re no longer the person you were before, all the characters in this story is flawed and damaged, when you dance with the devil it’s what you’ll become. This book is the most depraved and darkest story I’ve ever read by author Erin Trejo, book is beyond dark and if you think you can handle it than I bid you good luck. Cause let’s be honest here, yes it’s dark but oh so delicious, it’s like the story called to your soul, your mind, your body, it feels like you can’t get enough of it, you just want more and more as you keep reading, your heart keep beating faster and faster, you’re breathing hard, it feels like I’ve been running a never-ending marathon. Author Erin M Trejo I don’t know what else to say but you’ve surpassed everything I ever thought about dark reads, my hat’s off to you, so I will do my duty and dubbed you “The Queen Of Dark Reads”
So after working 12 hours I look on my kindle and see a book with no title. I start reading not knowing what it is and can not stop until it finished. I should never be surprised when I get one of these but Erin find a way to more twisted each time. Loved it!
Holy Hell. Killing & Rose are two of the most screwed up characters I think that I have every read about. I’m not sure that that is true but, they are definitely a couple of top contenders. Please don’t get me wrong. I loved both of them and I feel that they were meant to be together forever but I didn’t have a real clue.
This book was a different departure from most of the books that Erin Trejo usually writes. I can’t imagine the research that Ms Erin had to put into this way of life to be able to write this book but I’m sure she must be exhausted from it. . love the MC books that she writes, but I think that this book has really brought out her best work. There are a whole coven of triggers in this book so if you’re not cool with triggers you might want to forgo it. Other than that, I really hope that you enjoy this story and characters as much as I did.
Kellin and Rose are like ying and yang, good vs evil and two sides of the same coin. Everyone is drawn to someone even people with darkness. Because let’s face it even the Devil was an Angel at one time. Love/lust/life is a journey with all kinds of turns and twist. The only thing that matters is who is by your side when dust clears.
Wow! I love to read books from Erin Trejo. This is dark, intense, and absolutely amazing!! Rose and Kellin are two broken and damaged souls. Who are total opposites, but they just fit together. Kellin and Rose come from two different cult worlds. Once you start reading you won’t be able to stop. Cause you just HAVE to know what will happen next. This book has you on the edge of your seat. You won’t be disappointed in this new book from Erin Trejo. Keep up the amazing work girl!
I was beyond excited to read this book. In my humble opinion Erin Trejo has previously shown her ability to draw the reader into psychologically dark and physically dark reads. This book was no Shadowlands but still intense. My only real issue with the story is the cult and its story, origins, practices, beliefs are not fleshed out enough. I know the women are chattel but why are they like this? Origins of beliefs. Flesh it out more so when the characters struggle especially those raised in the cult, the reader understands motivations and behaviors. The physical violence could be a trigger for some but overall I liked the story.

Kellin and Rose enthrall you in this dark, twisted, emotional, heartbreaking read that will have you on the edge of your seat and you won’t be able to stop reading it. This book is amazing, and has everything you want in a book. I can’t wait to read what she has next.
Rose has escaped a religious cult only to be forced into an cult full of devil worshippers. She falls for Kellin, the devils son. Their feelings for each other confuse them but they need each other to make it out of this Can they survive the torture to make it in the real world. This story has all the feelings and anger.
Erin Trejo writes books that always makes you think and Dance With the Devil is no exception. Kellin was born and raised in a satanic cult. His father is the leader, he forced Kellin to kill his mother, and now his job is to find women to train as slaves for the cult and when he’s not successful in training them, they are human sacrifices to Satan. Rose seems to be the perfect target, college student, no family or strong ties, and she beautiful. What Kellin doesn’t know is Rose was raised and escaped a religious cult that practiced polygamy, incest, child brides, and took babies away from their mothers at birth to be indoctrinated into the cult. You felt both cults were equally evil, but was one worse because it praised Satan or was the other because it praised God? The book was well paced, the characters compelling, great twists and turns, moments of shocking brutality and cruelty, this book runs the gambit. Another 5 Star read!!

WOW!! I’m not sure this one is going to be one easily forgotten! It’s very dark and intense, but what an amazing love story there is. Killing and Rose are a great example to prove there can be love, no matter what your situation is or was! I couldn’t stop turning the pages!
Dance with the Devil is a crazy story about Kellin and Rose. Kellin grew up in a Satanic cult, his dad being the leader and all. Rose grew up in a religious cult and had recently escaped, gets kidnapped and brought to her fresh hell. As time goes on Kellin realizes he has fallen for Rose and will do anything to protect her, even if it means watching her get raped and beat, until his plans can come through to get her out of there. Kellin has had plans to take down the cult before Rose was even in the picture. Kellin realizes that he needs to move sooner rather than later if he wants to get Rose out alive.
Dance with the Devil is crazy, I don’t know how Erin does it. I could not put it down!
This book was scary good! I found myself spooked a bit while I read. Just the thought of reading what they were saying freaked me out just a little bit, which is a good thing, because I do love dark reads, and this one is at the top of my darkest list!
Dance With The Devil takes you for quite the ride. Kellin was literally born into a satanic cult and his role as the cult leaders son is to find new slaves. Rose was part of a different cult…one that worships God or so they stated. Having escaped from her own living hell, Rose is going to college and trying to live a normal life but she’s simply just existing. Kellin sees Rose and knows she’s to be part of the next group of slaves brought in. What he doesn’t know is her past or how undeniable strong she is. The pull Kellin feels towards Rose is something he’s never felt and it scares him. Both will be put through horrific situations and at some points it was a little difficult to read. But it was so worth it, their story of tragedy and recovery was something l have never experienced before. Erin Trejo does it again!
Erin Trejo really upped the dark factor for Dance with the Devil. This story was twisted and at times I wondered how there could possible be any chance at some sort of happily ever after.
Kellin has spent his life being groomed to take over for his father one day. An empire built on the monsters who lurk in the darkness.
Rose has finally found a sense of peace in her life, until Kellin finds her and brings her into his darkness.
Their story is one for the record books as they fight against all odds to find even a small slice of the light.
If you read the blurb you already know this isn’t a pretty romance.
Kellin was born and raised in a cult devoted to Satan, he’s the son of the cult leader. His duties include seeking out and acquiring women to be indoctrinated and trained as slaves for either their coven or for other covens. Sacrifices as well as the training may make it difficult reading for some readers.
When Kellin targeted and acquired Rose he knew she was alone in the world but he didn’t know she had been in a cult before and escaped.
This isn’t an easy read, Rose endures a lot but finds strength in Kellin. It takes a very ugly turn when Kellin’s father takes an interest in her but it also moves up Kellin’s time table to escape the cult with Rose.
It’s not roses and sunshine after they escape either and I appreciated the struggles these two went through as survivors and had each other in the end.
While not an easy read, I liked this book, there was a bit of jumpiness that had me backtracking a few times and parts the author omitted that I would have liked to have filled in but that’s me wanting more.

Dance with the Devil by Erin Trejo. WOW- just finished this book and my heart racing. Great story with intriguing plot, action, suspense, drama, strong tormented characters, and steam. If you enjoy dark and twisted romance- you will like this one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Well this was definitely a different book for me. Both Rose and Kellin have come from different cults. One being the extreme Godly and the other a satanic. Both are very broken people that go through so much especially Rose. She was such a strong woman. Well written.

Rose is dealt with good/evil and the lines blur when she meets Kellin and the devilish cult.
This one is about good and evil and how each can twist and turn in the blink of an eye can happen.
It’s hard to write a review because too much will give it away. I will say this one is dark and has you question what is considered good or bad. The characters are deeply stuck in a he** because of pasts, secrets and environments they grew up in. They are such a mess that the other helps them in ways I won’t say to not spoil it.
Dark at its scariest yet highly curious best. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
Erin Trejo is making a name for herself in the dark romance category. This book had so many WTF moments that I could not put it down. Make no mistake this is not your typical romance. It’s dark and gritty and shocking, and I loved every demented word of it.
This is also a book about self discovery and hope, and yes love. Another best seller from the queen of dark romance.
