This was another great story from Fiona Davenport. I adored Declan and Juliette. It had the perfect amount of angst, romance, heat and Insta love. Great story.
Another short sweet read. This time featuring Dr. Declan McGowan from the previous book, who falls for Juliette, the ballerina. After one passionate night, she has to leave buttoned back, 4 months later, pregnant, Lol. Filled with a sweet epilogue and cute banter make for an enjoyable read! 3.5 stars

Declan McGowen is a pediatric surgeon and one hot guy. He’s been celibate for two years and knew at first sight that the beautiful ballerina he was watching was his. He found her after the performance and she was as taken with him almost as much as he was taken with her. There was one major problem, she was leaving the next morning for a four month tour with her dance troupe.
He was going to have to wait until she returned from the extended ballet tour but the wait wasn’t easy for either of them. He was so anxious to see her again. He finagles an invite to a welcome home dinner party being held at a local restaurant but there’s a bit of confusion. His friend’s wife who has been trying for many months to set up her friend with Declan has been working overtime to get him to set a time and place. He continues to refuse over and over. Juliette has taken over his heart as resident and there is no room for anyone else. When the friend’s wife offers him a chance to go to the party welcoming home the ballet troupe he has no idea she set him up for a date with this Lisa, her friend. I was sick to death of this mettling friend and there was no way she could take a hint. She wouldn’t even abide by Dec’s decision when he flat out told her he did not want to go on a date. She sets it up behind his back. She doesn’t realize he is already in love with Juliette Moureaux. But I have to give him credit. He made it very clear to said friend that he would go to the welcome home dinner party but there would be no blind date, period!! It had now gotten to the point his best friend’s wife was harrassing him. I wouldn’t have been able to hold back on telling her off. It is her fault the OW ended up hurt. So when he shows up and is searching for his Juliette the fix-up gal comes up to him and tells him she is his date.
But, Dec realized that his fix up had actually been talking with his true love. He finally sees Juliette and he sees her eyes filled with tears. She takes off. When Dec realizes what has happened he quickly and bluntly tells the OW that he was seeing someone else and didn’t want to lead her on. He quickly escapes and finds his woman in the restroom.
The rest of the story was lovely and I highly recommend it! Loved this book.
