I loved reading this book as part of the ME Collection Vol #1 by Laura Greenwood, which is a set of the following four contemporary romances: Sweet About Me, Kneel for Me, Heard from Me, and If the Shoe Fits. Each one of these stories is unique but they have one thing in common, they are always sensual and hot. The characters are realistic and the sex scenes are so spicy the pages almost sizzled when I turned them. I loved each and every one of these stories. If the Shoe Fits is a sexy and steamy romance.

I enjoyed this Cindetella retelling. Sadie wants to go to the Queens wedding to see the man she glimpsed on TV. Her stepmother bans her from attending but she manages to sneak in anyway, and meet her guy. There’s and instant attraction, but the fear of getting caught fores her to run, only to leave a shoe behind.
A cute quick listen of a modern day Cinderella story. I liked this story and enjoyed its narration. Definitely an insta love book but you expect that with it being like Cinderella.
A modern version of Cinderella with few twists, steamy, sexy.. Susan Greenway narration is enjoyable to listen to.

I listened to the audible version. This is the first book I listened to/read by Laura Greenwood. I could tell that it was either part of a larger series or shared characters with books in a series, but you don’t need to have read any other books to follow/enjoy this one.
I liked the narrator’s voice and thought she was nice to listen to. She also spoke quickly enough that I didn’t feel like I had to increase the listening speed.
Overall, I liked that the story incorporated some elements from Cinderella, but wasn’t an exact retelling. I would recommend this novella as a way to get a feel for Laura Greenwood’s writing style and/or Susan Greenway’s narration.

If the Shoe Fits by Laura Greenwood is a modern day fairytale that I listened to on audio narrated by Susan Greenway. The book is a standalone novella in the ME Series.
I just love Laura’s books! They always leave me begging for more! I was so happy to see that this book brought back Queen Amara and her harem from Kneel for Me.
Susan did an amazing job on the narration. Her voice was just perfect for this story.

If The Shoe Fits was a Cinderella inspired novella that was modernized with a slight twist. This insta-love story was sweet and steamy with likable characters you will easily be rooting for. Although a short quick read with little drama, this story did hold my interest until the end and I enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it to all lovers of fairytale remakes.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Susan Greenway. She did a great job with the narration of this story. Her voice was clear and understandable and she really brought the story to life. It was a pleasure listening to her narrate this novel.

This was a twist to traditional Cinderella story. Sadie wants to go to the Queens wedding but her stepmother won’t allow it, so she goes undercover wearing a dress made by her not quite yet famous designer best friend. She meets a man at the reception but later leaves without giving him any information to find her except for her shoe.
The narration by Susan Greenway was very well done. The performance was smooth and easy to listen to.

Sadie was certain her stepmother would not allow her to go to the Queen’s wedding. But her step sister Rita was being groomed to go with the intention of finding a prince no less. Sadie’s’ trust fund was controlled by her step mom but she had managed to study music. Her best friend Enrique was a fashion designer looking to make it big and offered to make her a dress so she could go but she did not like the idea of him spending a lot of money on her. The question now was she going to give in and go and what adventure awaits her if she does?
This is a steamy contemporary version of Cinderella. The characters are interesting and personable except of course the step mother. This is definitely not a children’s story but it is a romance with love at first sight. The storyline is easy to read and does contain some hot steamy scenes. It is a quick read and leaves you feeling uplifted. So if you would like an adult version of a fairy tale in a contemporary setting then give this one a read.

Real world Cinderella…………with a fairy gay-mother
If The Shoe Fits is a cute reinvention of Cinderella transported to current day England. Sadie is a music student living with her horrid step-mother and a nice step-sister, Rita. Luckily for Sadie she does not have to work as a maid/servant to the family but still lives in the attic. Her only solace is her music and playing the cello.
The Queen is getting married she spots “a man” during a TV “spot” that is standing behind her and the to be groom. She knows that she just has to go and phones up her best friend Enrique because he has a design house and has already offered to give her a custom gown and shoes to attend the wedding. She even ends up with glass slippers only these one have an insert that can be taken out to be comfortable.
So off to the reception Sadie goes. She is asked to dance by “the man”. Leo, and quickly they find themselves alone in a grand room with a piano. She plays and then he plays with her body. But it is only for one incredible moment and then she is gone, as she is afraid of being discovered. The story continues along the lines of Cinderella but in modern times. There is crossover from previous books as Queen Amara and her men, Vincent, Carter and her new husband Albert, are woven into the story. But you do not have to have read Kneel For Me to understand.
If you love an insta-love, sizzling hot chemistry, a run away Lady, a Crown Prince on the hunt and a HEA then you will definitely love If The Shoe Fits.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Sadie is of gentry but never believed in fairy tales. When her father died she was left in the care of a step-mother that only wanted her for money that she came with. So when she saw a sexy man was going to be at the Queen’s wedding she knows that she wants to go so she can meet him. Her friend is a designer so he offers to make her a dress and shoes. So she is able to go without it costing any money coming from her step-mother. Once there she stops the man but before she can go to him another ranking member asks her to dance. But right after her mystery man claims her and its not long before they find themselves alone in a room. They share an amazing moment together but Sadie leaves Leo before he can get any information out of her. But she leaves behind her shoe. Will Leo use it to find the woman he wants? Can Sadie get the man she wants or will her step-mother win like she always does?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

A quick, spicy romance.
Sadie is a modern-day Cinderella and is just biding her time until she comes into her trust fund so can finally live her own life. She even has her best friend, Enrique, who is a clothing designer. So when she sees a man on TV who absolutely grabs her attention, Enrique runs with it and helps her attend the new Queen’s wedding reception in a dress designed for her. Poor Leo, a brother to the groom, falls for Sadie the minute he sees her. But now he has to convince her he really does love her.

This was a really good story with a Cinderella theme to a T. We have the evil step-mother and step-sister too. Sadie attends the Royal wedding that she is not allowed to. Her best friend, Enrique becomes her fairy godmother and designs her an outfit perfectly suited for a Lady. So perfect is this ensemble that she captures the groom’s brothers eye and he asks for a dance. Can Sadie and Leo find their HEA just like Cinderella and her Prince? This was a fun and fast read with a really entertaining story.

Sadie is stuck with an irritating step mother controlling her trust fund after the death of her Dad. Luckily her step sister Rita is sweet enough, despite the best efforts of her step monster.
Since this is a modern spin on Cinderella, there must be a ball. Happily her Fairy Gay Mother Enrique is an awesome designer and gifts her a fabulous dress, along with fantastic shoes.
This modern spin is pretty steamy- and with less drama with her step sister.
Hot, steamy and fabulously dressed. What more could a gal want besides a Prince who loves her?
A fun and fabulous tale!

If The Shoe Fits is a modern day retelling of Cinderella. Sadie and Leo are Cinderella and the Prince and I loved the instant connection between them. This book has it all drama, angst, humor, romance, steam and a cast of fun characters. A great short story and with believable characters and a great ending.
