Hellloooo….A Dark/College, Bully romance book…
Anndd Erin Trejo wrote it…
Ummm Yesss Please and Thank You….where do I sign up?? lol
Lord Trejo, this book needs to come with a warning: Tooo Hawt for your Kindle!!! LMAO Goodness this one is smoken HAWT!!!
“We’re known for trouble. Around here we’re known as the Triple A’s. This is our school. We run it, we own it. Nothing happens in this town without our knowledge. We are the fucking Alder’s.
Yupp, there is soo much angst in this book that I read this book in one afternoon, I could not put it down!!! Love me some A.N.G.S.T.!!!!
Thanks for writing Trejo…can’t wait for more!!! xoxo
WOW!!!! I don’t know where to start. This book is so far away from anything I’ve ever read from Erin Trejo and completely out of the realm of anything I ever expected to read from her. And that is the very definition of an incredibly talented Author. Dance For Me has every emotion covered in these pages. I’ve been happy, sad, totally pissed off, uncertain and ready to go to war for Whisper, Steele, Knox and Callan. What a strange journey these four have had. Nothing is as it seems in this book and it’s got more twists and turns than you can imagine. Then comes Shane and Leddy adding to the mix. This is a book you definitely don’t want to miss out on. Couldn’t put it down.
Title: Dance For Me
Author: Erin Trejo
Genre: Enemy to Lovers Romance
**RECEIVED ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW**
**SPOILER ALERT**
It has been a few days since I finished reading this book and I can honestly say I am no closer to an honest opinion of its contents than when I finished reading it.
Erin Trejo has been a favorite author of mine for awhile; not just her MC romance books but her ability to delve deeper into the human psyche with her dark romance/thrillers. She brings you inside the characters so much so that when they fall you fall. When they laugh you laugh, and when they love you love.
With Dance For Me I never got to that point immersion. Frankly I spent most of my time thinking what business these families have. Are they the mob? Just really rich and powerful? Oh, and how does an 18 year old get fostered out? Please explain a bit more.
Honestly I absolutely love that this author pushes her boundaries. She is always trying something new and frankly that is a sign of an awesome author in my opinion. She wants to challenge herself and push boundaries while taking readers along for the ride. But there is just a disconnect somewhere.
Truly the antihero and heroine have a supposed connection but it seems only physical. She is at ease with his brothers more so than him. There is tons of angst but sometimes it feels forced.
This book has potential and not just to be another Step Up movie.

Dance For Me is an excellent, different type of Bully Romance! It is Dark and gritty, entertaining and intriguing. I love all of the characters and the drama that ensues. 5 Stars!
Steele and Whisper’s chemistry lit up the pages in this book. They are so hot together. If you are looking for a hot and steamy bully story look no further. Loved all the brothers and look forward to their stories to come.
Holy Hell!!! Dance For Me by Erin Trejo is a story that will leave you breathless and your emotions all over the place. What transpires in a town full of lies, secrets and murder is chilling and full of angst as you follow a young woman named Whisper who has grown up in foster homes all her young life with no one wanting her. Now she ends up in a town called Rolling Springs where she will soon find out that she is being used as a pawn placing her life in danger. Her only coping factor in dealing with her problems is through her dancing. Enter the Adler brothers who will torment and abuse her through sex all on orders from their father to get the answers they seek. Now with all she is enduring, feelings will come into play and Whisper will soon learn that she has the power to take them all down. But through all of the danger and intrigue, Whisper and the Adler brothers will rally together, passions and emotions will run rapid for one couple as the truth will be revealed and vengeance will be taken. This story had so many twists and turns you will be on edge throughout this story. Erin Trejo, has given her readers an arousing, passionate, suspenseful psychological story that will leave you guessing till the end. Erin, you never disappoint your readers with the stories you give us. Well done! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
All I can say is wow. This usually isn’t my kind of book but this author loves to make me get out of my comfort zone and find something new to love. At the beginning I hated the triple A’s but as the book went on I found redeeming qualities in them all. You don’t want to cheer for Steele and Whisper but as you continue you feel different surprisingly. No matter how you feel about Steele you have to adore Whisper. I am dying for book 2 already.

I really liked this book, even though I’m not a huge fan of college based books, probably because it has dance as a main subplot. I love the way Erin Trejo writes her characters, and would have given this book 5 stars if I wasn’t confused by some of the plot. Which I won’t mention here because I don’t like to give spoilers. That being said, I think you should read it for yourself to see if you can figure it out faster than I did.
Wow! Erin Trejo proves she can write a college bully romance as well as an MC story!! Dance for Me had me glued to it from the very beginning!!
I love the characters including the name for our heroine, Whisper!! Whisper and the Alder boys do clash as well as have their ups and downs, I had a feeling Whisper was going to end up with one of them…however it wasn’t the one I was expecting. Bravo Erin!! Can’t wait for more!!
Oh, So Good!!
Whisper has been unwanted her whole life living from one foster home to another …until she turned 18 and then a couple stepped forward to take her. Weird, right? Well, there was reasoning behind this even if Whisper herself did not know what it was. Why would these people want an 18 year old and send her to a private college?
The Alder brothers owned Alder Academy in more ways than one. Steele, Knox and Callan were all a force to be reckoned with. Their family ran the whole town and the only person who could wreck it all was a member of the Macron family. Their dad sent the boys on a mission to find out all they could about the new girl and then take her out.
I’m new to the bully genre but if Ms. Trejo was writing it I knew it could be good and I sure wasn’t wrong. I loved it!! The angst was crazy as was the chemistry that brewed within this book. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!!
Like this book is amazing and wow… she gets brought into this town by these snobby rich people… apparently they beat her… but she don’t know why… she’s had a number she’s never called and it’s apparently her daddy… he’s been keeping tabs from afar…. she’s abused and hurt so bad… he falls for her and the connection between them is epic in all proportions!! Like you burn and you kindle starts sparking…

This news age college bully romance by author Erin Trejo definitely surpassed anything she has written so far. These characters are mess up in their own way but they’ve become a family, a broken family non the less, it’s truly is an amazing read.
Such an amazing book! This was so different from anything I have read from Erin Trejo before, but was proof how talented she is. It is dark bullying college story, but I could not help but relate to Whisper and Steele. I am so excited to see where the next book takes us!
This story pulls you in right from the start! It’s full of mystery, intrigue and hot, steamy sex scenes! This story has lots of twists, turns and surprises around each corner. Can’t wait for book 2 in the series. The Alder brothers are some sexy men!!
Wonderfully written storyline with characters that were so well created that I remained totally engaged throughout the entire book! I was so engrossed in this story that I read this book in one sitting!
I am used to this author and her MC’s (well as used to it as you can get to having your heart ripped out and played like a fiddle) so it’s a thrill to read a different genre and see her strut her stuff. She just wants to dance. After going from one foster home to another after being abandoned as a baby, she’s ready to be done. Now someone wants her. The reason why isn’t clear at first. But it isn’t going to be a walk in the park. Targeted by the 3 brothers her life has just taken a path that no one is ready for. What to do when a girl is pushed to her limits and now has nothing to loose. The have created her, made her what she is, they aren’t ready.
Loved the book not that it’s an easy read so don’t get comfy. There is bullying and some stuff that is beyond the realm, but then if there wasn’t it wouldn’t be this authors work. Prepare yourself for a story. One that isn’t pretty but does have an hea. Welcome to the twisted mind of Erin Trejo. You will come back for more.
Absolutely amazing!
Loved the world that was created with this book. The characters are deep and complex.
Whisper is such a strong and amazing character. She has faced so much and yet she still stays strong. Watching her develop and go through the roller coaster of emotions is so captivating.
The boys, ahh they were intense to say the least. I loved them. Their dynamic, their strengths, and weaknesses.
There is a true connection between the characters and you can’t help but be connected to them as well.
A phenomenal bully romance with killer dance moves and scorching hot scenes. Definitely want to be signed up at Alder Academy
Wow! This book had me all kinds of twisted up!!! I was never sure what was going to happen but I was a glutton for the punishment so I just kept turning the pages……darkness….secrets….lies…..so much emotional and physical damage for so many of the characters in this book. Where there is darkness can light exist? Can good win? Amazing start to a series!!!
Steele, Knox and Callan. The three Adler brothers who rule the school and pretty much every other part of town. Whisper, the troubled, broken beauty who enters their world with secrets that even she doesn’t know. The brothers have been tasked with finding out who she really is and what she knows by a father who is ruthless; so much so that he has no problem dishing out brutal punishments to his own sons if they don’t follow orders. The task seems simple enough, find out who she is and what she knows, but their tactics are what gives this story its bite! The boys are cruel and disrespectful to anyone and everyone, and they get away with it because of who they are, and when they turn that cruelty towards Whisper, they soon find out that she is not like everyone else.
The brothers are tight and each have their own personality. Callan is the youngest and has a little more of a heart than his brothers. Knox is the one with the charm and wit. Steele, the oldest is cold, calculating and heartless. All three brothers share the looks that could put them on the cover of a magazine and all three share the ability to beat someone to death.
Whisper is a beautiful young woman who has been shuffled from foster home to foster home since birth. Her life hasn’t been easy and the treatment she has received from foster parents and the thought that something was wrong with her for no one to want to adopt her has left her broken and cold. Her past has been troubled, but now she is in one last foster home, one where the people want her and want to send her to college, one where she can dance. But she is skeptical and not at all liking the fact that she has to endure another foster family, especially one that is rich. And the school, full of rich brats that she knows will not accept her. But she will be able to dance and that is the only thing that keeps her going.
The storyline will take your through not only the secret that will be revealed, the shocking revelations of this secret but also through the past of Whisper and what that past has done to make the young woman she is today.
This book is very well written with a story line that will capture you with it’s intrigue and mystery. The characters are exceptional in that you can almost visualize each one of them from the description the author gives you, not only of their appearance but of their movement when she describes the dances. The interaction between the characters is flawless, although sometimes hard to read. But it’s the interaction between the Adler brothers and Whisper, especially Steele and Whisper that will take your breath away.
An outstanding read that I couldn’t put down until I reached the exceptional ending. I highly recommend this book!
Loved this book.Whisper has been on her own in and out of foster care her entire life so when she’s finally adopted at 18 just as she’s starting college, she knows something else is going on. The three Alder brothers are a force to be reckoned with and when they meet Whisper, they know there’s more to her than she even realizes. The twists and turns in their story were fantastic.
