Aston LockeWhispers of the Locke brothers fill the town, facts and reality twisted to fit what these motherfuckers believe they know about us.That we’re sadistic bastards, incapable of any real emotions or fear.Maybe they’re not wrong about that. That is, until I set my sights on Kadence King, getting just as drawn to her as I am the darkness. It’s the first time I’ve felt anything in a long time.… anything in a long time.
But would she really be scared knowing the depth, the lengths I go with my brothers to make any fucker who crosses us pay?
I need a woman who can accept me for who I am.
For what I am.
I’m hoping like hell it’s her, because I want nothing more than to claim her as mine…
Kadence King
I know Aston’s dangerous, know people fear him. But I want him. I’m drawn to him, just as he’s drawn to the darkness.
I should be afraid of him, should turn the other way, but I can’t. I’ve gone mad and let him in my room, in my life, allowing him to consume me.
He possesses me, dominates me. Aston Locke shows me what it means to want to be claimed by him and only him.
And when he tells me I’M HIS, I have no doubt that’s the truth.
Because in the end it’s what I want too.
No matter how dangerous he is…

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Welcome to any small town in America. People talk and seem to have their nose in everyone’s business. In the town where the Locke brothers reside they are feared. Everyone knows that you do not cross a Locke and get away with it. They take care of their own brand of justice to the scum in their town. They don’t play around with it either and have gotten a reputation to where everyone closes their doors, locks their windows and don’t see a thing when it comes to the Locke brothers. You don’t cross a Locke ever. Aston is the youngest of the Locke brothers and what a story he has to tell. This poor guy. I wanted to just take him into my arms and hold him and tell him everything would be ok. He’s seen the worst he could as a kid and he’s been through more stuff than most at his age. When he lays eyes on Kadence though his whole world tilts on its axis. Neither one of them can look away and Kadence isn’t exactly seeing him at a very good time. She’s been warned by her roommate about staying away from the Locke brothers. But, there is something about the youngest Locke that Kadence wants to know more about. Heck she wants to know everything there is about Aston Locke.
This story pulled me in from the first page and I didn’t put it down until I was finished. I could have stayed in the Locke brother’s world for days and days. I loved Aston. He pulled at my heartstrings and melted me a time or two. I equally loved Kadence too. She is from a small town and has learned the hardest way possible to never judge anyone. You never know what someone has been through in life. I agree. You might just miss some pretty amazing people and experiences if you live your life in a closet. These two characters are so perfect for each other. Two broken souls that fate has brought together. You will have to read the story to find out why. I do not want to give anything away at all.
It is no secret that I am a huge Victoria Ashley fan. She could write a cookbook and I’d read it. I just love the stories she has to tell and the way she tells them. I do not think I have ever read a Jenika Snow book before this one. That has to be fixed quickly as they both did any amazing job with Damaged Locke. I could not tell you which author wrote which part of this book. And I am quiet the Victoria Ashley expert. It flows so well you’d never think that two people had written this book together. Now I am eager to get my hands on the next book in this series. I just know that Sterling and Wynter are going to have quiet the story to tell.
This book was all kinds of WOW! It was dark, dangerous and intense that I didn’t want it to end. Victoria and Jenika did an amazing job with this story and now we have to impatiently wait for book 2 to get another Locke brother fix.
Mysterious brothers known to be ruthless and protective, but at times have other aspects that they only allows those closest to them to see. In this story we get to see the youngest of the Locke brothers, Aston, and one night he makes eye contact with Kadence. Deep down Kadence knows that Aston is damaged, trouble, and she should be scared, but there is something that she sees in him that doesn’t scare her at all. Attraction is high and the draw to each other is inexplainable, but when trouble comes calling he would do anything to protect what is his and Kadence is definitely his. A thrilling read with danger, steam, and twists that is fun to read!!
Ohhh Aston is dark and delicious!!Kadence is pretty bada$$ too! I love this book so much! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I love the Locke Brothers so far!

Damaged Locke
Locke Brothers, Book 1
By: Victoria Ashley, Jenika Snow
Narrated by: Wen Ross, Kai Kennicott
Wow, these Locke Brothers’ books blew me away. I could not help but devour each book and binge listen to them all. They are well written, well told and captivated me from start to end. Each book features a different brother but the brothers appear in all the books and I highly recommend reading them in order. This is Aston’s story, he is the youngest brother and the most damaged. I admired how protective his brothers are of him, they all had a rough upbringing and it hardened each one of them. But there is a heart in each one of them, they need to meet the right someone unlock it. While out on a job with his brothers when he spots a girl watching him, Kadence has heard of the Locke Brothers, to fear them and stay far away from them. There is an instant attraction between them. She does not fear him, just thinks the brothers are misunderstood. I loved these two together, they were perfect for each other, Kadence brings out Aston’s heart. Thank you Victoria Ashley & Jenika Snow for this terrific story and collaboration!
I listened to the Audible edition, Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are terrific narrators and voice artists. They bring these characters to life, give each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. They set the perfect tone for the story, capturing the darkness and intensity of the characters. They are entertaining storytellers and always a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another terrific listen
This one had me hooked from the start. A dark angst filled read that had me finishing in one sitting. You knew that Aston Locke was going to be that guy that loved hard and would make sure nothing stood int he way of getting what he wanted.
The Locke brothers are ones that come from a past that has turned them into the men that they are, willing to do anything that it takes to protect those that they include in their family.
Kadence is a girl that is moving on from a life that was full of dis-pare. All it took was one look from a guy that she should stay far away from, for her to find the one that she is meant to be with. She doesn’t care what she has been told about the Locke brothers, she only knows that she drawn to the youngest brother. And that she knows that she is his, and he is hers.
This was one of the best books I’ve read in a while!! I loved it! It’s dark, gritty and raw but you can literally feel the emotions coming out in the words! Ashton Locke is a damaged young man but when he sees Kadence, he falls hard!! Kadence knows that Ashton and his brothers are bad news but Ashton has intrigued her and she wants more of him. When they finally do hook up, it’s smoking hot and instant between them. The Locke brothers may be bad, but they love hard and fall hard for their women. I can’t wait until the next book. Victoria Ashley and Jenika Snow hit this one out of the park!!
What an introduction to the Locke boys. These men are harsh, brutal and unforgiving. However they are also loyal and protective of the ones they love.
Aston and Kadence interest in one another was instant. Kadence sees the aftermath of a locke brother beatdown and she in interested. In some ways, I worried about her when she found this man all bloody sexy. However when you got inside of Kadence’s head it all made sense.
Aston was just as surprised by his interest and the severity of it right away. However he was a man who knew what he wanted and that was Kadence.
This was a quick read. It was very hot and I enjoyed it.
I love Victoria Ashley. She is my one-click go to author and my main source of rereads. This woman knows how to write fucking story and her characters are my fantasy boyfriends brought to life. I love how she expertly misses danger, sex, and romance into one outstanding book. I have not read a Jenika Snow book yet, but if this book is any indicator, I am seriously missing out. Looks like I need to to jump on her books ASAP.
I loved Damaged Locke and could have read this book in one sitting if I wasn’t so tired after getting home from work. Umm I love that the Locke brothers are badass and dangerous. But more than that, they have stigma’s placed on them from the gossip of the people in their town, and are so misunderstood. Don’t get me wrong, no one wants to cross the Locke brothers, but I couldn’t help but respect what they do. That’s why I loved how Kadence was immediately intrigued by the youngest Locke brother Aston. I liked that her life made her see that there are more to people than meets they eye and she actually took the chance to see what Aston was about. The attraction between them was hot as fuck. The sex scenes so hardcore, rough, and off the charts hot.
The relationship between the Locke brothers was one of my favorite things about this book. They look out for one another and would do anything for each other. I love the overprotectiveness Ace and Sterling have for Aston. But they can also be so funny.
I really loved this book and was so addicted. I can’t wait to read more about the Ace and Sterling and what new shit they’re going to get themselves in.
Disappointment. No time was taken with this story. No real character or story development. It seemed as if the story were written very quickly just for the sake of writing a book. Got no enjoyment out of it at all. Plot, characters, etc. very weak.
