We’re a match made in hell, Stefan and I. He took me to exact his revenge. I went from being a pawn to my father to being a pawn to Stefan. The only difference is I have a ring the size of a boulder on my finger and a husband I don’t want. And the hardest part is I thought he was different. I thought I was falling in love. I guess my father was right. I’m not a very smart girl. Stefan is a … smart girl.
Stefan is a powerful man. He doesn’t play nice, not if you’re his enemy. But I’ve learned one thing about my husband.
He takes care of what’s his
And I am his.
His enemies have become my enemies, but he’ll never let anyone hurt me. He’s fiercely protective. It’s the predator inside that scares me.

DREAMY’S REVIEW
Damage is book two in the arranged mafia romance by Natasha Knight and the conclusion for Stefan Sabbioni and Gabriella Marchese! And when I tell you that I dropped every single thing that I was doing the minute this book dropped into my Kindle, it’s NO LIE!
We pick up where we left off on the cliffhanger from book one, Collateral, which had my heart PUMPING! I’m so glad we didn’t have to wait too long to see what happens next for our two main characters.
Stefan shows a side of him that I knew was deep inside, brewing within him. I love it. I love this side of him that showed that he has emotions, a human side of him than just a tough exterior. He shows just how much he cares for Gabriella and at just what lengths he would go to protect her.
“My protector and predator in one.”
Gabriella still sassy and defiant as ever. She is so quick to test Stefan, but she soon learns that with her new life and being married to a Mafiaso, she has to adjust… and quick. I do understand why she is confused in who to trust, but she need to make a choice. Stay a pawn or step up and stand on her two. His enemies becomes hers, and new ones arise, while older ones begin to show their cards.
I just loved these two together. The chemistry between them was evident and so undeniable. And even when they tried to hide it, it was there. I loved how their relationship grew and evolved to so much more from book one.
Damage was everything I was expecting and so much more! Knight has this compelling way of immersing your into the world she builds and you get lost in her words with her characters and the twists and turns! I can never seem to get enough, ever!
She brought two of my favorite things together with a slight age gap, AND I AM STILL SO IN LOVE! I can’t stop thinking about this duet, this world, and these characters!
Is it too much to ask for more of these two? 😉
Five dreamy stars:
So freaking good!
Damage picks right up where Collateral left us stunned. And boy do we go straight in with the excitement. This read has lies, betrayal and a fantastic story that will keep you guessing and sitting on the edge of your seat.
Gabi and Stefan are wonderful characters who will have your heart beating out of your chest. Their chemistry is on fire and their love/hate relationship is exciting. A great mafia story written by a author who haves us her all and what a fantastic journey it was. You’ll definitely want to read it.

After reading Collateral and Natasha Knight leaving me hanging with that crazy cliffhanger, I was anxiously counting down to the second book in the Duet. I’m so glad I got a chance to read Damage because I needed to find out what was going to happen to Gabriela and Stefan. Stefan is all about revenge at first until he starts changing in the second book. The second book is full of so many elements, but the biggest was betrayal. I was not expecting to find out a certain character was behind the betrayal either. I was disappointed with that character, but then Natasha had to have a big secret come out in this book. That character made up for the betrayal, but after so many incidents happened to both main characters.
There was also the tension between Gabriela and Stefan that made the book addicting. Gabriela was a fighter. Stefan was a true protective alpha. I loved these two characters, even if Stefan tended to come off as a jerk. There was a lot of secrets between the two characters and trust issues, but after a while truths were revealed. Stefan was not the bad guy that Gabriela thought he was originally. He became her hero, even if he told her he wasn’t a hero.
Natasha Knight had a lot of twists and turns in Damage that I had a hard time putting down this book. I needed to find out what was going to happen next. Before I knew it, I was finishing the book. Now, I need to read more from Natasha Knight because I enjoyed this Dark Mafia Romance that involved an arranged marriage.
This book was definitely a fantastic conclusion to the Collateral Damage Duet.
Story Rating: 5 stars
Steaminess Rating: 4 stars
Standalone or part of series: Part of Duet and highly recommend reading in order.
Do I recommend this book? Yes.
Will I read other books from the author? Yes.
Tropes/Elements: Arranged Marriage; Mafia Romance; Age-Gap Romance; Betrayal; Lies
Hero: Powerful; Wealthy; Part of the Sicilian Mafia; Alpha; Scary; Sexy
Heroine: Abused; Damaged; Immature; Virgin; Prisoner
An epic addition to this series that you won’t be able to put down until you get to the end. The key players from the past make appearances and make you hold onto the edge of your seat, waiting to see what is going to happen. It is a wild ride that you will not be able to put down!! This author hasn’t disappointed me yet!!
And this story gets more and more exciting as it continues. The action. The suspense. The betrayal. It all adds up to make one heck of a steamy, dark romance that will make you happy by the end. What a ride this author takes you on with each page you turn!!
I absolutely loved this book and the way the author intertwines all the different parts that have created the deception and suspense in this story. The key players make their appearance and you learn so much more behind Stefan and Gabi.
You also get to see all the different sides of Stefan and you fall more in love (maybe lust) with him. He turns up the romance and steaminess, and starts to see he needs to cherish what is in front of him. He shows true emotion in this book that you didn’t see in the precious book.
Gabi is a well-loved character. Thrown into a situation she can’t control, she doesn’t know who to trust. She struggles greatly and I completely understood her feelings and decisions. She ultimately stands up for Stefan, even though she’s not sure she should.
This is an epic tale of forbidden, forced marriage that turns into so much more. Fall in love with these 2 today and enjoy this wild, twisted, steamy ride of Stefan, Gabi and all the other amazing characters!!
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!! This book is everything and I mean E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G….
I have been sitting here with my kindle opened trying to figure out what I want to say in this review. Here is what I have come up with…..You must read Collateral first. Damage picks up right where Collateral leaves off. There are twists, turns, and a little bit of deceit. The tangled web of deceit slowly starts to unravel. Remember trust needs to be earned, and is not given freely in this life. With that being said there are bonds that are broken and bonds that are built. The build up to the explosive ending was filled with so much action. There was not a dull in this book.
My review may be vague to some but know that’s ok just because I don’t want to give any spoilers. Natasha Knight out did herself with this mafia duet, and I can not wait to see what she comes up with next.
Damage was just as good as Collateral. What a fabulous duet.
You MUST read book 1 as book 2 picks up right where 1 leaves off. I’ll try to leave this review generic so as not to give anything away.
Natasha Knight has long been a favorite of mine. Her writing is so engaging, time flies unbeknownst to the reader. Her characters are full. Her storylines are well thought out and executed. Her prose keeps you devouring each and every book.
Stefan is enemy numero uno to Gabreilla’s family and in book 1 twists her fathers arm to get to 18 yo Gabriella. I have to keep reminding myself that she IS an 18 year old girl with an awful sense of familial love. Her mother dying early, her brother in a home, and her father a piece of trash wanna be mafioso. Natasha writes her character perfectly! She acts like a brat in the truest sense of the word.
Stefan and Gabriella have a contentious relationship to say the least, although it is hot af when they allow themselves time to just be a man and a woman.
The twists and turns keep you flipping pages, the fabulous writing keeps you engaged.
Well done!
After finishing collateral I wanted to see how Gabriela and Stefen journey will go ahead. Its starts exactly from where collateral ended. This book gives a wonderful conclusion for this duet series.
Stefen is just as hot in this as in Collateral and Gabi is stubborn as ever. Lies, betrayal, deception continues and makes you sit on the edge. Stefen is determined to find out and put an end to this. Gabi’s journey from being a pawn to her father and then to Stefen, to being a queen to hold power is worth a read. I liked the push and pull, heated anger and chemistry between them.
Story continues with several people plotting and loyalties being questioned. The tug between Gabriel ( Gabriela’s father) and Stefen continues. Revenge and greed takes over and fuels the plans to destroy each other. The story takes an unexpected twists and turns. Gabi’s suspicion, loneliness and Stefen’s intention to protect her will be misunderstood. The way they beat all this will keep you hooked.
Other characters in this book are pleasing. I got intrigued with Lucas (a short entry), Millie is pleasant as always. Clara is vile. Gabriel is cunning as ever. Rafa is appealing. All these characters make a book delightful.
Plot is from dual POV, gripping and fast reading. At some point in middle I felt author has rushed a bit to conclude in this book. I would have loved to read more of Stefen and Gabi slow burn romance as in Collateral. It’s bit fast paced and sort of whirlwind romance in this book.
I enjoyed Gabriel and Stefen journey. It’s a wonderful, twist worthy conclusion. The suspense and intrigue will keep you hooked till the end. I adored the couple. I hope author will give more glimpse of Rafa in next upcoming books.
Received an advance copy for honest review on this book.
I was blown away by this duet! This gripping the story had me glued to my Kindle throughout all the twists and turns wanting to know what happened. Throughout all the power plays by Gabriela and Stefan this intense story had me captivated. Who is a friend and who is a foe? What is the truth and what is a lie? Damage picks right up where Collateral ended so you have to read the first part of the duet. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!!
My heart was left on the pages of Damaged. It was heartbreaking. It was witty. It was treacherous but most of all… It was sublime! I hated, I loved, I cried, I rejoiced. I commiserated. I read it a day ago and I’m still constantly thinking about it. It even featured in my dreams.
Collateral left us with a major cliffhanger and I started counting down the days until I got my hands on Damage (lucky it wasn’t a long wait). There were so many possible outcomes but the one that actually happened, I did not see that coming. There was so much treachery and betrayal in this book but there was also healing and acceptance.
Stefan, Stefan, Stefan… oh how I hated you so. You were such a b*stard. You were so freaking horrible to Gabriela. I cried so much because of you. You were so bipolar and unclear about your feelings. I hate that despite of all that, I still loved you. Under all that hate there was love. You made me go through a roller-coaster of emotions.
Gabi was so different in this book. In Collateral she was a bad*ss who defied Stefan every step of the way. In this book, she is still a bad*ss but she show more vulnerability. Defying Stefan had consequences and she pays them in Damage. She feels like a prisoner but she can’t help what she is starting to feel for Stefan. He forces her obedience and she loves it. She craves his touch. Stefan becomes her salvation.
I can’t believe this is over. This book was too short. This duet was amazing and I want more!
The second book in the Duet and the story picks up right where the first book ended so you get pulled right into the story. There is a lot more going on in this book. Secrets get revealed, lines gets drawn and sides get taken.
The relationship between Stephan and Gabriella is taken one step forward and then two steps back. A certain points I wanted to slap both of them on the head. Stephan for being an *** and Gabi for not listening and thinking before she acts.
I enjoyed the book a lot and read it in one sitting.
Damage by Natasha Knight – 5 stars
Wow, just WOW!
This was one helluva conclusion of a freaking amazing duet.
Damage was all and more than I expected.
Natasha Knight is my favorite person ever to write Maffia anything.
This is her kingdom and she rules it like the Queen that she is.
Stefan and Gabriela are back and just when you think everything should be perfect saga ending you get slammed with more than both your brain and heart can handle.
I loved how there was not a single dull moment, there was action on each page and you couldn’t know who to trust and how would get stabbed in the back next.
There were parts that got my eyes pop out and I’m pretty sure i stopped breathing for a moment or two there.
This was absolutely AMAZING and there are no words to explain it.
Nothing could do this PERFECT story justice.
It gets all the stars in heaven from me and i highly RECOMMEND it.
I can’t wait for everyone to read it and enjoy it.
Without a doubt, Natasha Knight’s Collateral/Damage: an Arranged Marriage Mafia Romance Duet is a must read for dark romance enthusiasts.
Natasha continues the wonderful retreat in the story of Stefan and Gabriela in Book two.
Stefan and Gabriela, a love story? Hate story? Where is the boundary of secrets, betrayal and passion.
a crazy story that without reading the duet, the feeling of what I have read cannot be conveyed.
Recommend to start with the first book and then go straight to the second book. Collateral and damage.
In the second book we slowly uncover the secrets, the passion intensifies and the love, God, how one can define the deep love that goes through Stefan and Gabriela.
Natasha is slowly embroidering the story from all ends, giving us an incredible closure to a powerful story.
I felt I was with them, crying, angry and in love.
Undeniably one of the best duets I’ve read this year
We’re back for the whirlwind conclusion of the duet Collateral Damage with “Damage”, and it’s an intense, outstanding, action packed read with a relationship that can only be truly understood by the players. Must be read after “Collateral”
The forced relationship between Stefan and Gabriela has slowly changed as the time has passed, Stefan seems to be blowing hot and cold towards Gabriela, is he going to be cruel or kind, her feelings are all a jumble, but what are her true feelings towards Stefan?
The story was an addictive read, very hard to put down as unexpected twist and turns became riveting suspenseful thrills that had me on the edge of my seat, as I anticipate what was coming next.
Gabriela was still the intensely strong heroine as she continues to be Stefan’s pawn and his show of power, and what’s her father up too? There’s more deceit and violence to contend with, as more trust and loyalties are broken.
It’s a fast paced story, brilliantly written. A magnificent arranged Mafia marriage extravaganza and a definite must read. I loved it!
Welcome back to Sicilia, to Gabriela and Stefan’s stormy story, for the second opus of the Collateral Damage duet. Take a deep breath, settle comfortably into your favorite book nook, the story starts off where it ended in the last installment. Remember?
Fast paced, Damage is a book I couldn’t put down. From the first page, I found myself swept up by Stefan’s mercurial behavior and Gabriela’s emotional turmoil.
Caught in the whirlwind of their responsabilities, the young woman and the ruthless mafioso have to make choices, all the while navigating the trusts, deceptions, betrayals. But choosing can prove to be tricky when you are surrounded by to much opacity.
“Out of the frying pan and into the fire.”
Stefan had me on the edge of my seat all along, while Gabriela’s sadness felt like a punch in my gut. It was so easy to relate to her stress, her constant fight. What felt the most heart wrenching, though, was her loneliness and her despair. The author amazingly captured the helplessness of her heroine when facing Stefan, perfect anti-hero, that I loved hating, and then fell for!
“One heroic act does not a hero make.”
Angsty, edgy, the heavy atmosphere of Damage utterly gripped me.
Enjoy, my friends!
What a fantastic way to complete this duet! We pick right up where collateral left off and it did not disappoint. Everything that ensues between Gabriela and Stefan will leave your head spinning. This book was packed with love, betrayal, manipulation, family strife and everything in between that will leave your jaw dropped. Natasha Knight is definitely an author to add to your must read list!
What an ending to this duet!!!! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading. I loved every single minute of it!! Stefan and Gabriela was perfect for each other they just didn’t realize it soon enough. And neither wanted to fall in love at all. Stefan because that would make him weak and he never wanted to show weakness and Gabi ….well she didn’t know if she could trust Stefan at all. And the way this actually plays out my mind was blown away. And I never wanted it to end. It was an absolutely brilliant duet and I’m already ready for a reread. And anxious for the next book that Natasha puts out as I know it will be amazing!!! She is fast becoming another favorite of mine!!! I highly suggest you read this duet!!!! By Tina
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author, to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
We’er a match made in hell, Stefan and I . He took me to exact his revenge. I went from being a pawn to my father to being a pwn to Stefan. They only difference is I have a ring the size of a boulder on my finger and a husband I don’t want. And the hardest is I thought he was different. I thought I was falling in love. Stefan is a powerful man. He doesn’t play nice, not if your’e his enemy. But I’ve learned one thing about my husband. He takes care of what’s his. And I am his. His enemies have become my enemies, but he’ll never let anyone hurt me. He’s fiercely protective. It’s the predator inside him that scares me.
This is the second book in the Collateral Damage Duet from Natasha Knight. You have to have read the first book Collateral, before attempting to read Damage. I loved this entire series. As you remember we were left off with a huge cliff hanger and Gabriela was missing. Taken by someone, and Gabriel is about to learn some serious secrets and things that you will never see coming. I fell so in love with these character’s and Rafa too. I think the guy needs his own book. I would for sure read it the second that it come out. There is a really huge story there I am sure. This book will also keep you reading from the second you pick the book up and you will not want it to end. I can not wait to see what Natasha Knight comes up with next. She is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and a author that I will not miss book that she has written.
This is the 2nd and concluding part of this amazing duet, and carries straight on from where the 1st book ended. Stefan and Gabriella’s story is complex. dynamic, intricate, and a compelling read. This is a well written flawless and intense story, which is emotional, raw, gritty, and with danger, secrets, and betrayal which all had me totally enthralled throughout. I highly recommend this gifted authors’ work for all.
5 MUST READ Stars for Damage (Book 2 in the Collateral Damage Duet)!!!
WOW!!! When I finished Collateral, with it’s nail-biting cliffhanger, I simply couldn’t WAIT for the conclusion! Let me just say that Ms. Knight did NOT disappoint in any way! Damage is EVERYTHING I was expecting….and soooooooo much more!
The second book in this duet continues right where the first left off, dropping you IMMEDIATELY into the terrifying situation that Gabriela finds herself in! This completely compelling, absolutely astonishing story kept me sitting on the edge of my seat and had my heart pounding like I’d just finished a marathon! It took me to places that I never imagined it would take me and left me breathless with ALL the FEELS!!!
Stefan is the epitome of the strong, ALPHA male with a heart of gold (at least when it comes to Gabi). Where he could be utterly ruthless when it came to his enemies, he could be sweet and tender with the woman who stole his heart, while at the same time, he was totally and completely in control *sigh* All his alphaness is so swoon-worthy, so panty-melting! And Gabriela turned out to be just as strong and feisty, stubborn, innocent in so many ways yet, the perfect foil for the dominant and masterful Stephan!
Once again, Natasha Knight has delivered an unforgettable, dark and steamy, intense romance full of intrigue, betrayal, love, loss and enduring love that needs to be on EVERYONE’S MUST READ list!!! Now, I need MORE! *hint hint*
