My bones still hold the gouges of rejection. It still hurts, watching Clayton love the one he rejected me for, and it probably always will. My body still yearns for my destined mate, the Moon refusing to set us free from the bond that stems from the marrow of our existence. Anguish and heartache with unbearable pain is the life I thought I was destined to live.Until Dallas. Even though he is not … Dallas.
Even though he is not the mate destined for me by the Moon, we decided to choose our own paths.
Fate was ours to determine.
Or so we thought…

Set aside some time, because once you open it you won’t put it down until the end.
oooo I liked this book more than Clayton.
I loved the new pack and the dynamics it brings in Rya’s life. I love the growth that we see in Dallas and Rya.
The only thing that started to annoy me was the constant back and forth on the mating bond and moon blessed. Perhaps it’s because of Im usually, once I decide it is done and over with, but I just wanted to yell to Dallas and Rya. They both had moments of being idiots. However, look at their history. It makes sense up to a certain point.
Like the previous book, some of the scene changes were hard to follow and I feel like the reader needed to do a bit of assuming to understand the story instead of the story providing us everything that we need.
Couldn’t put it down. One of my favourite werewolf books out there. Complex characters, amazing descriptions and a real tooth and claw story
(Possible Spoilers)
The second book in the wildflowers series and sequel to Clayton we continue to watch Rya grow in her story from heartache to self-discovery. We are introduced to new characters, The Wildflowers, and learn more about some old ones.
Full of twists you couldn’t predict, a path forward is never going to be an easy straight line. There are bends and turns in the road we can’t always prepare for. After leaving for the Valentine pack to start her growth Rya meets challenges she never thought she would face. The path she walks isn’t easy but she continues on, despite the hardships.
Rya continues to blossom and bloom in this story. She may stumble and fall along the way but she presses herself to keep getting back up and you can’t help but fall in love with her courage and resilience. She is a true Wildflower. Things may not always turn out how we plan but we can’t ever stop and let ourselves remain sitting on the dirt we are tossed in. Sometimes we have to root ourselves deep and grow in the places people thought we never could.
The book 2 of the Wildflower series leaves us gasping, breathing irregularly, swirling with emotions and feeling the Love. Rachelle Mills has Magic within her through which she creates and transforms characters & worlds with whom we fall in love every time. She makes us literally live with her characters. It’s a blessing to be able to have come across her books. These are masterpieces & Perfect reads !!!!!
Not as emotionally heartbreaking as the first, but still gut-wrenching in its own way, this is the ending to Rya’s story. While this book still touches on being second best, looking for love and acceptance, and of course heartbreak, it’s more about the journey. It’s about self-discovery and growth as a person and watching Rya blossom was so rewarding. Again there are parts that are just so full of angst and will make you scream but I think it’s what made the story.
There are a lot of new characters introduced and I’m excited to see what direction this series takes. I’m in love with this author’s words and has made me miss reading paranormal romance. Such a brilliant book with characters that I shall cherish always.
Book 2 of 2. Clayton comes first. Also the 2 book from The Wildflowers Series.
Rya’ s all grown up and ready to face life. Dallas has had his heart shattered. And his world tip upside down.
Can they find happiness? Will Clayton and Kennedy get in their way? What happens when the mate bond plays it’s part? Can Dallas turn things around?
Thank you Rachelle for yet another amazing read
