3 Dakonian stories in 1 book. This series includes the stories for Darak, Aton and Caid who have come to earth to meet their mates who they were matched with. The stories range from one woman trying to working for the dating service who ends up her client’s mate. Another signed up for the dating service because she needs a date to her sister’s wedding. The last is looking for love since her sister has found her happiness but still unsure of how far she will go to make this work.
I have read these books individually and enjoyed reading them again. This series is full of action, love, and discovery of these endearing characters.

This set is nice, I had already had one book and getting the set just completed my collection. It was fun reading about these aliens adapting to earth’s way of courting. These guys make you want an alien for yourself.

I’m not new to Cara Bristol’s books, nor her Dakonian series, so I knew what I was getting into when I saw these books: sexy heroes who adore their mates, quirky, likable heroines and a fun story that leads to love in the end. And that’s exactly what I got. I’ve been reading a lot of darker stuff lately, and these books were the perfect palate cleanser I needed to remind me of why I love romance in the first place. (I’ve been starting to forget.)
In the Alien Mate series, females went into space to find their mate through a lottery – in this series, the Alien Mail Order Brides, the men of Dakon are coming earth to meet the mates they’ve been matched with through their system. This being a box set, we have three interconnected stories to enjoy. In Darak, the first story, we meet Lexi, who has never been able to meet her socialite mother’s expectations, so when her younger sister is getting married, she decides to sign up for a mail-order alien and bring him to the wedding. Falling in love wasn’t part of the plan, but it happened anyway. In Aton, we get Toni, who’s actually eager to have an alien mate of her own, after seeing how happy her sister is with her own sexy, adoring mate, but as a lawyer, she has to decide what she’d be willing to do to keep him there. And then, in Caid, we have Jessie, whose job is to match aliens up with women…she wasn’t supposed to get a mate of her own, but Caid just won’t stop vying for her attention (in such a hilarious way) and she’s beginning to want to keep him for herself.
Seriously, these stories are so much fun and I love reading them. You should check them out. And now I’m off to buy book 4.

Darak
This was a really good introduction to this series and I enjoyed getting to know the characters as well as seeing how the relationship between Lexi and Darak grew through the story. I look forward to reading Lexi’s sisters story next.
Aton
I really enjoyed reading about Toni and A ton in this story and seeing how they overcame all the problems and misunderstandings that got in their way. I look forward to seeing how things work out for Caid in the next story.
Caid
This book is the third book in this series and is about Caid trying to convince his IDA Matchmaker that she is his destined mate. Both characters were introduced in the second book in the series. I really liked Caid in this book and was glad when they managed to reach their HEA with a little outside help. I look forward to reading more of this series.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough with twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more. Three unique books, the Dakonian people have a list to order a bride it is so hot, Darak, Aton and Caid.

This is the 1st time I’ve read anything written by Cara Bristol; she has done an excellent job at writing a good set of books; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

I loved the characters.

Each book has a likeable alien and lots of humor. I love this series! In the Alien mate series, human females went to Dakon, to their alien male. In this series, the males come to earth to meet their mates. This leads to lots of funny moments. Like in Caid where Jessie was not supposed to take an alien mate for herself. Caid refused to accept no as an answer, which lead to hilarious moments.

I absolute love box sets as they make reading the series so much easier and and cheaper in the long run! I love the stories of Anton, Caid, and Darak. Darak’s story starting out with his Lexi only wanting a date to her sister Toni’s wedding that would tick off her mother. To Lexi signing up after she left her fiancee at the alter and meeting Anton. Then Jessie who actually works for the IDA and fights giving in to her feelings for Caid.
Darak, shows up at Lexi’s door and knows immediately with a twitch of his horns that she was his fated mate. Lexi decided that she didn’t want to use Darak to anger her mother after all. Darak doesn’t take no for an answer and contacts Lexi once more, the two having finally connected, despite her mother’s anger, emotionally and physically. After a conversation with Lexi, Toni leaves her fiancee at the alter and signs up for the IDA herself.
Due to a jealous friend, Anton’s Visa is denied at the last minute and he is refused to go to Earth and meet the woman that he knows for a fact is his fated mate. Toni receives a call from Jessie at the IDA, notifying her that Anton will not be coming to Earth after all due to a last minute cancellation of his Visa. To get to Jessie, Anton stows away onto a ship and sneaks to Earth and finally finds Toni’s work office. Due to Toni not expecting Anton to show up at her office, Anton is accidentally tasered when he comes to the office. The two go through multiple ups and downs, especially when Toni’s ex-fiancee has Anton arrested as a means to get back at Toni for leaving him. Anton is deported and it is later found out that the ship he was supposed to be on was hijacked by slavers that the ex had sold them out to.
Finally, Jessie is a matchmaker for the IDA and Caid is one of the aliens that was brought to earth in search of a mate. He was initially matched with Toni after Anton was supposedly no longer able to come to Earth. After six months of failed matches, fighting with Caid, and threats from her boss Jessie is pushed to the limit and gives a mixer to try and find the perfect match. What ends up happening is Jessie gets drunk, and Caid takes her to his place and the two have a kiss that makes the blood boil and the heart pound. Then Caid picks a name that isn’t on the list of candidates that way he can be with Jessie. What ends up happening is Jessie sets up a fake profile and her boss fires her for using the services, but Caid saves her job when he brings up the fact that Evie knew that Caid was a member of the site and still gave him her number and tried to hook up with him.
I absolutely loved this set and look forward to the next set of books in this series!

This is fantastic collection of the first 3 books in a mail order bride series. I love how each plot and characters are completely unique. The world and characer building makes these books and engrossing. Chemistry, action, steam, emotion and drama are all present in these books.

This is a great set of stories dealing with the Intergalactic Dating Agency and Dakonian males. Instead of the brides going to a new planet, these males come to Earth for their mates.
In Darak, Lexi needs a date for her sister’s wedding and to upset her mother. She signs up for a date on the Intergalactic Dating Agency. Darak arrives and knows that he has found his mate. He just needs to convince her of that. Will she realize that they are meant to be?
In Aton, Toni signs up for a mate after seeing how happy her sister is. She is matched but then is told that her match will not be coming. She is surprised to see him at her office. Aton won’t let anything stop him from finding his mate. When the truth of how he got here is discovered, will they be able to make things right?
In Caid, Jessie works for the Intergalactic Dating Agency and has been trying to find a match for Caid. He already found his mate in her but she doesn’t believe him. She can’t get involve with anyone in the program. Will Caid be able to win her heart?

This was a stunning boxset. Love the intergalactic mail order brides series. This is books 1-3 of the Dakonian brides and was a amazing addition to the collection. You get hot tempered brides and big strong aliens. Will they tame there brides or will there brides tame them? A most read for all alien romance lovers.
Volume 1 has the first 3 books to give us the stories of Darak, Aton, and Caid. These books not only have an absolutely loveable alien, but the humor will keep you laughing and wanting more! Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what to expect.
*** Reviewing “CAID – BOOK 3 (INTERGALACTIC DATING AGENCY)” ***
Evelyn Fidalgo, the Intergalactic Dating Agency director, was on the phone to talk to Jessie about Client DK0009 and why he still hadn’t been matched up. Caid of Dakon had now refused 62 attempts to find him a suitable date! Evelyn gave Jessie two more weeks to find someone for him or she would be let go, despite the 3,000 successful cases she had previously handled.
Jessie met with Caid to see if the latest date had been acceptable. He told her he immediately knew the female was not his Fated Mate and walked out of the restaurant. How could he find his perfect woman if he only gave her 10 seconds of his time! So Jessie decided to have a mixer with 10 of his previous dates and, this time, she would be there to encourage him. He showed no interest in any of them, so she decided to tell him the truth that her job was on the line and she would lose it if he did not pick a date. Caid was worried that he would not have a chance to convince her that SHE was his Fated Mate if he could not see her anymore. But he did not want to choose anyone else. He had only accepted the dates because afterward, he would meet with her to discuss them. Those were the “real” dates for him. He already knew who the Fates chose for him – Jessie! But Jessie was not permitted to date clients. Was there no hope for them? What more can he do to win her heart?
I absolutely loved this book and am a huge fan of the entire series! The humor interspersed as the gorgeous alien tries to navigate through our unfamiliar society is so well done! It made me fall in love with the characters and their wonderful personalities, especially when he refers to the pickup lines book he purchased to win Jessie over. It doesn’t take much for the reader to become fully involved with these characters enough to care how things work out for them. We have perfect pacing, great story line, and a heart-felt story. I own all three of these books and I know you will love each one!
