I love this series and this book is one of my favorites! It is the 4th book in this series, but it can be enjoyed as a stand-alone. I’m not sure why anyone would want to read it that way since the rest of the series is amazing, but it is possible. This story, unlike the others, doesn’t take place at Sanctuary Ranch. And while some of the characters from the previous books do make appearances they don’t have a lot of impact on the story.
Daisy is another one of those characters that made me want to reach into a story and wrap my arms around her. She has lived a life of pain and the scars she has run deep, literally. They are also easily seen by anyone who takes a close look. She has only ever come close to love once, and that dream was cruelly thrown to the ground and stomped on, and she is the reason why. It was out of her control, but she is still the cause for the hurt, or so she thinks, that she has suffered. Her guilt eats at her and watching her relive that over and over again was heartbreaking.
Jed was one of those characters that I wanted to reach into the book and smack. Luckily, he ended up smacking himself (figuratively) so I didn’t have to. The fact that he realizes his mistakes doesn’t make those mistakes any less hurtful, but it does redeem him as a character. His protective streak is a mile wide and even when he tries to deny it, it takes control and twists him to its demands.
The romance between these two is a long time coming and it is filled with pain, hurt, tenderness, patience, love, and passion, and the HEA filled my heart with joy. I highly recommend this one to all lovers of DD/lg romance and I know they will love it just as much as I did.
Once I started I just wanted to keep reading about Jed and Daisy. Daisy and Jed had a past that was not great because of his grandfather. I was sad that for most of the book Jed had trust issues with Daisy but I am glad in the end he listened to her explain everything. I liked that Jed was able to help Daisy explore her little side and make her feel safe and Daisy was everything that Jed needed. They had great chemistry and I really enjoyed this book. Can’t wait to read more.

This is Jed’s story. We haven’t really gotten to know him in previous books because he keeps to himself. He and Daisy loved each other when they were young, but circumstances, and his grandfather, have kept them apart. They meet by chance when Daisy rents a cabin from Ellie. They start to date and become Daddy/Little girl but Jed has a lot of trust and anger issues. He doesn’t seem like much of a Dom, but as they move forward there are changes. I enjoyed the story, but he did seem an unlikely Daddy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I just love this series, Layla Roberts books just get me there and they just keep getting better and better! It’s a fast reading, well written tale about finding something you thought you lost and keeping it forever. Jeb and Daisy’s story was just so good and even though it’s part of a series and fun to see other character from previous stories but can be read as a stand alone with a wonderful happy ending.
Time after time, Ms Roberts produces these oh so wonderful stories of young ladies who are littles, who are in need of a daddy dom to care and protect for them. This story has turned out to be far more emotional than the others, in my opinion. A story of Daisy and Jed, in their younger days they both fell in love, but drastic events tore them apart. Ten years later Daisy has moved into Montana, a fresh start, but when she is invited to the Ranch for a bbq she meets Jed again, but the very next day he is telling her to leave accusing her of been a money hungry person. Poor Daisydosnt know what to do, but no sooner than he walks away, he is back in her life. She submits to him in every way, but what happens when he finds out her well kept secrets.
This story is definately a page turner, full of emotions and lies of others. A must read and i fully recommen this
Daddy’s Lost Love is book 4 in the Montana Daddies by Laylah Roberts.
I have enjoyed every book in the series, and this book did not disappoint. Jed and Daisy were young and in love before circumstances separated them for years. Daisy is back and now Jed wants to be her Daddy, but Daisy has secrets that she believes could keep them apart. Jed is very bossy, domineering, and caring. He does believe in a little loving spanking. I love Daddy Doms!
I loved the story of these 2 characters. Like most men on the ranch, Jed is very Domineering. When Daysi pops back into his life old feelings burst forth for both of them. This story tells you the lengths they will go to keep what they had back in the past and turn it into their future.

Daisy and Jed reunite after 10 years apart. Family secrets come out, as well as mistrust from the past. Good book, well written!

What a lovely book, I ended up a puddle of goo. It has moments of sadness to be sure, but it also has moments of humour and some really sexy moments but it is most of all a beautiful second chance romance between two very deserving characters. Although it is part of Serenity most of it takes place at Ellie’s house which she rents out to Daisy, the previous characters do appear and the ending is amazing.
A dominate Daddy and an untrusting Little learn to love again
First love, young love… torn apart. Ten years later can they reconnect? right wrongs? For Jed and Daisy the past ten years have been hard but with a “kismet” twist of fate they both end up in Montana. With misunderstandings, a new Daddy/little relationship, and a stalker this story will keep you turning the pages.

If you are into Little stories, this is an excellent read. Separated after ten years of manipulation by Jed’s grandfather, he and Daisy are together again. So much has happened to Daisy and a lot of it has been bad, but now things are starting to come together for the two of them. When Jed realizes the Little that resides inside Daisy, things get easier for her to let him have control and make decisions. Unfortunately there is a current danger lurking and Jed and the team neutralize it but not before Daisy has been traumatized. It is a great read and I would highly recommend this book if you enjoy Little stories.
