And suddenly there are rules, and consequences for breaking them, and she isn’t certain how she feels about that. Considering the man acting as her guardian is also her boss, and the sexiest, most dominant man she’s ever met.
He’s blunt, gruff and used to getting his way…

Charlotte has been abused most of her life and feels that she isn’t worth being loved and cared for and that everyone will leave her in the end.
Clint runs a tight ship and wont let Charlotte talk bad about herself and hates that she has been abused by those who should have loved and cared for her more than anyone else. He now has her in his life and he will show her the love and attention that she deserves and needs to make her happy again. The men on the ranch believe that women should be treasured, cared for, loved and taken care of while the men in their lives have the last word and they rule the roost. If she needed a spanking, then she was going to get one, but never abuse. There is a fine line and these men know what it is.
This was a cute book where the alpha male is in charge and the woman is treasured as they should be. All with a little bit of spice to keep the romance going.

This story is just one of a kind!!! Just beware that if you are a wuss like me then you need at least four tissues for the waterworks that are turned on and off and on again… This is a daddy / little one story without going into the extremes and as I normally am not really a fan of that but I couldn´t read that from the blurb, but what a good story it was. It was so emotional and heartbreaking. It had a good storyline and fabulous characters. There were a few typos but as I got an ARC copy I am sure they were taken out in the final editing stages. They are so much easier to overlook as well when the story is as good as this one is. I can at least really recommend this one if you like romantic and heartfelt novels with a daddy/little aspect. And at last I am giving this one the very rare five stars.

This story really pulled on my heartstrings. There is so many powerful emotions packed into this one story. This is a superb read with incredible characters. I love the interactions and dynamic between Charlie and Clint. There are some instances in which be triggering for some individuals, including abuse, mainly mental, in one’s past.

I try very hard to find any positives I can in a book. Honestly, though even with this attitude could not help this book. I usually enjoy these types of books but I thought that this book really did an injustice to the whole genre. The base of a good dd/lg relationship is trust and care and that was something I felt was severely lacking from Charlie and Clint’s story. To me Clint was a complete and total failure as a dd in just about every single way that he could be. I can’t say much because I do not want to give spoilers because this is just my opinion and others will read and enjoy this book and I do not want to ruin it for them. I felt so bad for Charlie. My heart broke for her. She deserved so much better than the life she had lead prior to this story and I truly felt that she deserved someone a million times better than Clint as a dd. Very disappointing.
Excellent book could not stop reading from the beginning till the end ,read it all through the night
This is part of the Montana Daddies series. First on that I’ve read. I enjoyed it very much. Charlie is an orphan living in her car. Not doing too good at taking care of herself. She takes a temporary job working on Sanctuary Ranch. Clint like everything orderly so there are plenty of rules to follow and consequences for not following the rules. Charlie has never had that so she’s not sure she likes the consequences. Can Clint be what Charlie needs in her life? He’s gruff, stern and intimidates Charlie but it was fun to watch them grown on each other.

Thoughtful Daddy Dom book
Laylah Roberts’ Montana Daddies series continues with book 2 Charlie(Charlotte) and Clint’s story.
Daddy’s Little Darling. Once more set at Sanctuary Ranch this book reads well as a stand alone though I did enjoy seeing how characters from Daddy Bear were faring.
I hurt for Charlotte and was really happy when Clint finally opened his eyes and heart to her. I liked how the author unraveled Charlotte’s back story and how well she handled a sensitive situation. I can hardly wait till the next book in the series.
I received an advance reader copy.
Loved this book and highly recommend it!
What a steamy hot read about a young woman who needs a Daddy Dom…….. Plus like I said it steamy hot to boot.*Spoilers Tag-plus it has a great storyline about a young woman who acts like a little girl in need of a Daddy dom.And has a hard life after losing her parents at a young age and was sent to live with her bitter aunt, that wished she had died and not her mother. After she’s grown up she has a boyfriend that want her to act her age and not like a little girl . He’s very verbally abusive to her and kicks her out one lonly dark night. She hate the dark and has since her parents died, and her aunt would lock her in a dark closet. So after a job agency send to cook at Sanctuary Ranch her new boss turn out be Clint. And he only want a man cook because on his ranch , all the men treat their women like protected well careed for little girls.Just what Charlie’s looking for.It takes some time to trust Cint , but it’s so worth it.*So if you want more than you should get this story because it’s a great read. This was also my first time reading for this author and I so look forward to seeing more from her in the future.

Daddy’s Little Darling is the second book in the Montana Daddies series, but could be read as a stand alone. Charlie is a temporary chef for Sanctuary Ranch, trying so hard not to be a burden, and feels a draw to her boss, who she’s sure hates her. Clint knows as soon as he meets Charlie that he wants her in his life, but he’s not sure she can handle his world. But he’s exactly what she needs, if only he can gain her trust!
Oh my goodness, this book had my both swooning in delight and grabbing tissues as I couldn’t help but cry. Charlie and Clint are the perfect couple, not without some hiccups, but I love the sweetness, the joy, the need, and the love! Clint’s nickname for Charlie is “Little darling” and that’s exactly what she is! Charlie was sweet and tender, with a heartbreaking back story. I definitely cried while reading the scenes where she describes her past, but I loved every second of her finding peace, happiness, and love! Clint is gruff, a little rough, a little growly, but amazing and perfect for Charlie. He’s so loving and protective of those within his circle and I loved how quickly Charlie jumped to his number one spot! I loved that this book wasn’t all about the passion between them, but their connection, their trials, and their healing that they do together. I completely fell in love with both of these characters, love their journey, and am loving this series so much!
This story had me so emotional from beginning to end. I’m going to be honest and say that I sometimes struggle with DDlg stories because they just don’t seem believable to me. That isn’t the case with this one. It’s beautifully written, has characters I could relate to and care about, and lots of steamy moments. Laylah Roberts has never disappointed me and this one is no exception.
My heart broke for Charlie on so many levels. I wanted to reach into the story and hug her the way Clint does, and I’m not a Daddy, lol. I swear I teared up reading parts of her tale. Clint is the perfect Daddy for her. He is brave, honest, patient, and accepting of all her broken parts. He warmed my heart with the way he not only takes care of her, but how he also takes care of all those he loves. Their journey toward their HEA will melt your heart.
I loved this book and read it in one sitting. Clint is such a lovely man and Charlotte really needs a Daddy. It was lovely to see Bear and Ellie and how well they are doing. There was little sex and yet it was hot and in some ways sexier than explicit sex would be. This is a real feel good book that leaves the reader feeling warm and cosy.
Loved Clint and Charlie’s story. Clint has given up on finding his Little and then in comes Charlie who is a born Little but she does not know it. The protectiveness Clint shows her, allows Charlie to thrive in an environment where she is protected and loved which is something that has been missing in her life since her parents were killed. If you like Little stories you will love this one. As Charlie comes out of her shell she is full of sass and mischief which adds to the story. As strict and bossy as Clint is, you catch moments of humor that she has brought to his life. This is a great Little story and I would highly recommend it.
Clint is expecting a male chef named Charlie, when Charlotte arrives. He terrifies her and has every intention of sending her away – until he finds out she’s been sleeping in her car. That, and she has Little characteristics. Terrified of overstepping his bounds with her since he’s the boss, he distances himself from her, putting her in danger when she’s bullied. Sanctuary Ranch is a community that enforces HoH, and Charlie fits right in, but can she and Clint forge a relationship through her fear? I enjoyed this story; it’s not heavy, it’s got a divinely dominant Daddy character, and it’s a sensitive look at overcoming past baggage.
