What an amazing story.
Didn’t know what a DILF was going into this story. I tell you, I’m looking for a DILF of my own afterwards.
Strong characters made me feel so connected to the story and people, I cannot wait to see where these Diaries go.
The storyline was funny, beautiful, romantic and seductive.
Bring on DILF DIARIES 2!Stephanie St. Klaire
5 Star Review DILF Diaries: Oh Baby by Stephanie St Klair
This was a new author to me and can I just say, what a way to start my reading experience off. There were so many snort out loud moments that my husband thought I was crazy and I ended up in tears.
What happens when a smoking hot fireman and his uptight neighbour come together? Women are clamouring for Jack Decker’s attention, even going as far as manufacturing situations to get his attention and staking out positions in the park to watch him run. Jack knows that everyone thinks he is a playboy, but underneath the surface lurks the heart of a man who has never really gotten over having his heart broken.
Juliet, a nurse, is Jack’s next door neighbour and not a particularly friendly one at that. Constantly complaining that Jack is too noisy she really isn’t someone that Jack wants to get to know.
When she hears a baby crying continuously she finds a tiny bundle wrapped up on Jack’s doorstep. Jack has not a clue about babies but thankfully is “family” step in to help. Jules begins to see that there is way more to Jack than meets the eye and slowly opens herself to him.
This was not a straight forward story as there were a few twists and turns that kept me guessing which I loved.
The chemistry between Jack and Jules is off the charts and there were certainly many swoon worthy moments throughout this book.
This is book one ion a new series from Stephanie St Klair and be assured I will be waiting with anticipation for the next release.
One click this little gem, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Things aren’t always what they seem. Appearances can be deceiving. Jack comes across as a cocky, arrogant player holding drunken parties & irritating his neighbors in the process. Women follow him around & guys want to be like him. Is that what he’s really like? Juliet doesn’t care. She just wants him to TURN THE MUSIC DOWN! She’s a nurse, just off a long shift & needs some sleep. He may be hot but she wishes he’d just go away!
Stephanie St. Klaire has turned her talents to a new genre. Her talent for crafting wonderful, relatable characters & witty dialogue came through in this story. The scenes were detailed in such a way that the reader could feel they were part of the action. I loved that Juliet didn’t fall into Jack’s arms right off the bat but made him work for it. Ramsey was a perfect addition! I was laughing out loud at the picture Jack would have made holding her while she was sick & trying not to get sick himself!! Juliet needed to learn that Jack’s reputation was spot on but not in the way she thought it was. I really can’t wait for the next in this series!!
HOT HOT HOT!!! So what do you need to put out a fire, but a HOT Smexy Neighbor, but wait this player is the one and only Jack Decker firefighter extraordinaire! He is one desirable hunk of man. Has he met his match in the feisty firecracker nurse Juliet, who believes she has his number and it ain’t 911? Throw in sweet baby Ramsey and what a mess! Lucky for Jack, he has the Munoz family and possibly Juliet to help him with her. Love is in the air, and hopefully it won’t be extinguished. A wonderful story with some ups, downs and biceps!!!
I haven’t read much by this author and after reading DILF Diaries I’m beginning to wonder why because this is enemies to lovers and romantic comedy at its best.
Jack Decker is the fireman every girl in town wants, woman do all sorts of outrageous things to get his attention and on the face of it he accepts every challenge they throw at him but is he a playboy or has he built a life around himself to protect his feelings. Juliet is his neighbor and as a nurse working shifts the last thing she needs night after night are parties and woman parading around when she is trying to sleep so needless to say Jack and Juliet don’t get on but could this be about to change with the arrival of a baby on Jack’s doorstep………
A new baby brings all sorts of different challenges for Jack but if truth be known it’s just what he wants a family of his own. Baby Ramsey fast becomes the star of this book and you really can’t help laughing out loud when Jack is learning the things you can do and the things you can’t do with a baby like changing their formula by mistake. This was a adorable funny read and I can’t wait for more in this series.
Oh man does Stephanie St. Klaire have a hit series coming along. Have to say when we first read about Jack he definitely lives up to his nickname but there is more to this sexy fireman. I loved that Stephanie St. Klaire didn’t have Juliet easily fall for his charms but had Jack work harder than ever. All in all this was a great book packed with comedy, hot sex and a man who will rock your world once you get to know the real him.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
Oh Baby is book one of the new standalone RomCom DILF Diaries series by Stephanie St. Klaire’s. This heartwarming and hilarious enemies to lovers/best friends story is a great start to the series.
I was laughing so hard from the very beginning. The banters between Jules and Jack were filled with sexual innuendos and their quick comeback comments were hilarious. Jack’s interactions with Ramsey was hysterical but so true and real given his background. Stephanie has a gift in filling a situation with real emotions and reactions. The twist and turns had kept the story lively from the first page until the end.
I absolutely enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to those readers who like a great story with lots of laughs and swooning. I am looking forward to meeting the next DILF.
I received an advance reviewer copy of the book for free from InkslingerPR in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
This is a great start to a new series. This book has the humor and sarcasm we’ve come to expect as well as red hot sexy time with plenty of shenanigans in between. I highly recommend getting this book and checking out the “sexy and he knows it” Jack. Oh baby!
This is a wonderful feel good romantic comedy. Juliet is a hard working and feisty nurse. Jack is her playboy next door neighbor. I love the banter between Juliet and Jack. We come to learn that Jack is sweet and caring. Very protective of his family. I loved watching Jack reveal his true self to Juliet. And watching Juliet fall for Jack. Part of reason he lets playboy image roll is he is trying to protect his heart. Jack is real and genuine. Jack has wanted Juliet from the beginning. Add in some great secondary characters and little baby girl you have a great start to this series. I am hoping Jacks friend Felix gets is HEA next because I loved his family.
Aww I adored Dilf Diaries: Oh Baby! I was instantly hooked on Jack. Right from page one, I knew that he was a keeper. He lets the world classify him as a playboy, but once you get around the tough persona, he has a HUGE heart! Jules is tough as nails and loves a good ol fight with her hot neighbor. Once they started with their back and forth, it kind of reminded me of that school romance. You know the one where you fight with the boy you secretly have a crush on? Yeah that one 🙂
Once the unexpected surprise happens to Jack, Jules pushes aside her reservations to help him out. This is where you see the true man Jack is. I completely fell for these characters and was not sure if Jack and Jules were the best of friends or the worst of enemies. Will these two stay as “only” friends? Or can there be more?
I couldn’t read this book fast enough!
I was completely captivated and entertained by Jack’s story. I found it hilariously funny that Jack was proud of his player reputation and his rather revealing nickname! I laughed out loud at the antics of the local soccer moms and single ladies taking photos and otherwise vying for Jack’s attention, after all, he is a handsome and well built man.
I can only imagine the look on Jack’s face when he is told that he is the father of the baby literally left on his doorstep accompanied by a letter naming him the father. Combine that with the ever prickly, but beautiful, neighbor lady that points out his bundle of joy.
I enjoyed Jack’s journey into fatherhood as he dealt with the sudden change in his lifestyle. He no longer was able to party every day with his buddies instead he was changing diapers, shopping for formula, diapers and all sorts of baby things. Juliet was also paramount in Jack’s change of attitude, softening up her feisty attitude when she realized Jack had a few secrets he wasn’t wanting to share. It was also very heartfelt when Jack realized he could lose custody of his baby girl because of his reputation and previous lifestyle.
Sweet and heartwarming, I could have read about his family for a long time and never get tired of the humor. I hope there are more where this came from because it was a joy to read.
Jack Decker has quite the hose and everyone knows about it… after all he is a fireman so he does know how to use it. Lol. Jack is a fun guy and has lots of friends and parties with a revolving door of hot girls coming in and out. Juliet is his neighbor and she is not impressed by Jack or his hose. Jack basically does anything he can to get a rise out of Juliet- loud parties, etc to get her to come over and complain. He kind of likes that fact that she isn’t fawning all over him. Then one day Juliet is pounding on his door holding a crying baby.. his crying baby that was left on his doorstep. Now Jack is panicking but his “family” comes and takes care of everything for him so his life doesn’t change until they leave and he is on his own. He turns to Jules for help and she offers it and starts to see a different side of Jack. But really what she is seeing and falling for is the real Jack not the side she realizes is an act he puts on for others to see. And he never dispels the rumors about his love life or hose. When trouble arises for Jack and his daughter Jules is right there helping him and standing beside him until she pulls strings to help him and the constrictions put on her for the help.
Jack and Jules are a fantastic couple. I loved how she didn’t fawn all over him and was still annoyed with him for awhile. I liked their banter- sexy and joking. The sex was awesome between them and they had quite the chemistry.
This is definitely a book I would want to re read. And I would definitely recommend for people to read this book
Jack thinks he has women all figured out, until a baby changes everything. Juliet knows she has Jack figured out, until a baby changes everything. Juliet and Jack are about to learn a valuable lesson about the merits of falling in love. He’s clueless. She’s judgmental. This playboy is about to get the one thing he’s longed for, yet never believed he’d have. A family. St. Klaire makes baby Ramsey the star of the show. She’s the link that makes it all make sense for the playboy and his stubborn neighbor. Irresistibly adorable.
Oh My God! Jack The Pecker Decker. The laid back guy with a reputation to maintain; he’s a legend amongst his friends and coworkers. At first I was torn between hating him and loving him all at once. Smoking hot, cocky, charming and funny fireman that all the women want and all men look up to.
Juliet “Jules” is a hard working nurse that looks a little stuck up but once you get to really know her she’s loveable, nurturing and a tad “sassy”. They get on each other’s nerves but when a sudden complicated event occurs that will change Jack’s life forever, they team up to face it head on. You can feel each other’s pull towards one another and their growing feelings and it’s simply awesome! Enemy to friends to lovers; nothing will stop them !
Loved loved loved that easy to read, well written story and I simply couldn’t put it down!
This is an enemies to lovers trope at it’s best. St. Klaire has a smoking hot hero thrown in with a sarcastic, smart-as-a-whip heroine who’s not above setting off every car alarm in the neighborhood to get his attention when his party is out of hand. The two really do appear to hate each other, but things are not always as they seem. The attraction burns down deep under all the sarcasm flying around. I love me some good sarcasm and St. Klaire is the queen!
When a baby suddenly shows up on his front porch, he needs Jules’ help to wade through the waters of baby care. Most of the time Jack is going under for the third time…the fourth time…. It boils down to the fact that Jack has to lower himself enough to ask for her help and Jules has to drop her annoyance with him in order to save Ramsey from the man who has to be the most ignorant man ever put on earth as far as baby knowledge goes. If he doesn’t watch out, Jack just may fall in love with both Ramsey and Jules!
This is a fast paced, hilarious, sexy and messy (Ramsey and Jack) romantic comedy that you shouldn’t miss!
Not your typical Stephanie St. Klaire HEA where you’re gripping your seat at the suspense behind the plot, but with just enough of a twist to make you squirm! Very much like that of Juliet every time she thinks of her neighbor Jack “The Pecker” Decker, no matter how much she tries to keep her dislike in tact. And “Jules” isn’t nearly as hoity toity as Jack has come to think of her, especially after that little bathroom scene! But you’ll have to read it for yourself to learn the details, just trust me that it was not what I expected, nor something Jack will ever forget! Oh Baby was such a fun read and one I recommend reading in the pool where you can keep cool because they don’t come any hotter than Jack Decker!
Jack Decker is HOT and the whole town knows and appreciates that fact…except his straight laced, uptight neighbor Juliet. When Jack discovers he is a father, he comes to rely on “Jules” for a lot more than baby advice! But when baby Ramsey is threatened, their relationship is tested too.
This was a fun story that I devoured in one sitting. Watching Jack become a good dad was funny (ok, and sexy!). And I loved seeing Jules let her guard down and come to love both Jack and Ramsey.
Overall a great story! I am looking forward to the next in this series!
Love, love, loved this new story to the new series. I have enjoyed all of her books so far. But, I really love this one! It is an enimies to friends to lovers with plenty of snark, sass, unexpected moment’s, heated moment’s, laughter, and so much more. I had a lot of laugh out loud moments in this book. Such a fun read! I definitely cannot wait to see what’s next!
This first in a series book by Stephanie St. Klaire had me literally laughing out loud!
When firefighter Jack Decker AKA Jack the Pecker Decker awakens one morning to the loud knocking of his neighbor Juliet Walker (who doesn’t like Jack…even though EVERY other woman lusts after him and his…hose, you know…because he is a firefighter) and a screaming crying baby, his life gets turned upside down!
This hilarious book is full of fun banter, mystery, and amazing chemistry! I loved the main characters and the supporting characters! The twists, humor, and storyline were fantastic and I couldn’t put this down!
I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out!!!
Oooh, Baby!! Enemies to lovers, secret baby and lots of sexy times are what this story gives you! Some of my favorite things!! Jack is a sexy firefighter with a reputation as a playboy. Jules is his next door neighbor. A good girl who follows the rules and has no patience for a man who doesn’t want to grow up. That is until Ramsey shows up on Jack’s doorstep. I loved the banter between Jack and Jules and all the fun to be had when they finally figured out they were perfect for each other.
