Another Hit! RomCom Gold!
I was chuckling at the back and forth between Juliet and Jack from the beginning. The electricity was constantly zinging! And then the surprise was dropped in Jack’s…lap and I knew things were going to get really interesting! He learns to be a daddy and she learns to give in the the feelings she has for her neighbor. The ending made me just want more! As with all of Stephanie St Klaire’s books I am hooked and I can’t wait for the next one!
In a twist of Stephanie St. Klaire’s usual writing of romantic suspense comes a romantic comedy. This is the story of firefighter, Jack and his neighbor and nurse Juliet. Things aren’t so great between the two neighbors but if Jack has his way, Jules will come around. What results is a laugh out loud romance.
If you doubt that Stephanie might have trouble expanding her usual writings, give her new book a try, you won’t be disappointed.
DILF Diaries was a great read! It was funny, witty, hot and romantic. But it was also a great story with a happy ending. It wasn’t at all what I expected. It was so much more! In the beginning I thought Jack was a bit of a cocky jerk. In the end he turned out to be an amazingly sweet man. I loved every minute of this book! Another awesome book by Stephanie!
This enemies to lovers rom com is a quick, fun read. Jack and Jules know exactly what buttons to push to drive each other crazy. Their antics are entertaining, and once Jules realizes that Jack isn’t the person he appears to be, they are really great together.
I have been a fan of Stephanie St. Klaire since her debut. I’ve devowered every romantic suspense book that she has written. DILF DIARIES is her first RomCom and she did not disappoint!
The characters are well developed and the storylines were not predictable. I laughed until I was crying in some spots. I hope the next book tells us more about them and what the future holds
DILF Diaries
This book was totally different than what I expected from the title. Jack, the fireman neighbor to Juliette, AKA Jules, has a reputation. His reputation is that of a player. However, it’s not totally based on fact, but rather on assumptions. Jack has close friends and many people who really care about him.
Jules is a nurse, and is aware of Jack’s ‘player’ reputation. She doesn’t want anything to do with him, and is often annoyed at his antics and at the noise coming from his backyard parties. She’s attracted to Jack, but is unwilling to act on it.
Circumstances change for Jack, and he unexpectedly finds out he fathered a little girl, who gets left in front of his house. As he adapts to fatherhood, with some help from his friends, he starts leaning on Jules a little. As Jules and Jack get to know each other, they discover that they are more alike than they assumed.
This story has a lot more depth to it than the title would have you believe. This is a wonderful story populated with people that would be fun to know. There is a huge amount of growth that occurs in both Jack and Jules. There’s a couple of unexpected twists toward the end as well, and that adds a bit of drama to the finale.
I really enjoyed this book. Thank you, Ms. St. Klaire!
Jack is the perfect example of appearances are deceiving. He portrays himself as someone who he really isn’t. He is a very hot fireman that is a man-whore. Women line up just to see him run.
Juliet is Jack’s next door neighbor and has no use for Jack. She is so awesome! I love her comebacks. She definitely can hold her own.
When Jack has an unexpected arrival Juliet, Rosie & family rally behind him providing all the support he needs and more.
The more time Jack and Juliet spend together the more we get to see their true characters.
I really enjoyed this book. There was several laugh out loud moments for me. The bantering between Jack and Juliet was very entertaining.
Everyone wants a chance with Jack Decker and his legendary hose. Well, everyone except Juliet, his unimpressed neighbor. When a baby shows up at his door, Jack asks Juliet for help. After spending long hours together things change. Enemies become lovers.
Jack and Jules are great together from the very beginning. Her snappy comebacks are perfect for Jack’s huge ego. She is always ready to knock him down a few pegs.
Stephanie has yet to disappoint me with her stories. I came wait to see which character she highlights in the next book, because I loved them all
Why am I not surprised that Stephanie St Klaire can change from suspense to rom com and NAIL it! This book has it all…..drama…..giggles….steam…..and a good old fashion HEA! If you’ve never read a Stephanie St Klaire you are missing out!
OHMYGOSH!! (now that I have that out of the way) Jack and Juliet are H-O-T. Jack is everything you dream about on a sext fireman and Juliet could care less. These two together make this a steamy, laugh out loud kind of story with mabey a little bit of tears, happy and sad, but a great HEA!

This book was so fun to read. There is lots of humor, but also has such tender and sweet moments. Jack “The Hose” has a playboy reputation with loud parties and loads of women chasing him. Juliet his next door neighbor is a nurse and leads a quiet life. I loved the attraction between these two even as Jules fights it. all is not what it seems and when Jack needs help Jules is the first to step up to help. Add a hot fireman, a sexy nurse, and a cute baby and you get this great story. There are some twists and surprises as this story develops making it an enjoyable feel-good read.
In true St. Klaire fashion this book will give you all the feels. It has amazing character chemistry that will have you zipping through the pages.
Jack is a sexy firefighter that has all the women in the city wanting his hose. His neighbor Jules is a spunky nurse trying to ignore him.
When a store drops a surprise at Jack’s front door everything changes. Trust me this DILF will have you swooning.
Great book! Loved the characters and the story line. A much read and can’t wait for the next book!!
Fun fun fun . Light , sexy, witty. Loved Jack but Juliet is my hero. She doesn’t mince words . Great enemies to lovers read .
Jack Decker is a fireman all the women go out to see. Women, even plan the play dates at the local park during his ‘running’ hours, just to catch a glimpse of the handsome man. Everyone awesome he is a playboy, but, that’s the furthest thing from the truth. Jack is a down to Earth guy, who has had his heart broken, and hasn’t ever really healed from that. So, he puts a show on making everyone thing he is this playboy guy. But, in reality he is a guy who likes being around his friends and adopted family. He doesn’t drink just to make sure those who are drinking have a ride home, and helps those who can’t. He is a local hero. Until one day when a baby shows up on his door step.
Juliet, is the next door cranky neighbor who is always yelling at Jack to turn the music down at this parties, so, she can go back to sleep. Working 12 – 14 hr shifts at the hospital always burn her out. She never knows if she’s coming or going. But, being next door to Jack, she always knows when it’s Friday nights, as that is when his back yard baroque’s are going on. We don’t know much about Juliet other than she’s a work-a-holic. A bit into the story we find out some of her history, but, not much.
One morning, Juliet heard a baby crying and crying, and saw a bundle on Jack’s front porch. Jack doesn’t understand, he’s never had relations with a woman since he’s been single, but he remembers a drunken one night stand, could that be were this baby came from? For Jack being a fireman, he knows nothing about babies. Let alone a girl baby. His best friend, Felix’s family comes to the rescue, the women in his adoptive family know how to cook and take care of the house and babies. Jack is rescued from the baby. He learns how to take care of the baby. He does have a lot of self doubt ‘Baby Blue’s’ come up. But, Juliet helps him through somethings.
Juliet likes to think she’s the hard woman one, but she’s really a softy if you get to know her. Jack thinks she has something stuffed up her butt to make her so stuffy. But, after they get to know each other, Juliet can’t resist Jack’s charm and good looks. Juliet finally gives to him.
Will Juliet let Jack win her over? Or will she back out of things? Will Jack be able to take care of the baby and his new relationship with Juliet?
**Copy provided by the author and this is my honest review**
I loved the witty banter between Jules and jack, fighting against each other and them selves with the heat and passion that was bubbling up inside them. Finally bounding over the child in his life. When life seems to crash and fall apart from outside forces the lovers are pushed together before being pulled apart great ending to this heart warming story
Another amazing book from Stephanie St. Klaire. She has proved she can write anything. I have read all of her books and she keeps getting better, and better! Looking for a fun sexy read? Then you MUST one click this now! You do not want to miss this book. I can not wait to see what’s in store for us next.
I needed this book right now in my life because I laughed, and laughed, and laughed. I need neighbors like Jack and Juliet, well, mostly Jack. I also want tamales and tacos, but who doesn’t? If you want a hot and sexy read with some comedy thrown in, this is the book for you. I look forward to the next book by Stephanie St. Klaire.
This book made me bust at the seams laughing so hard. Jack Decker is a firefighter and knkown as Pecker Decker. Juliet Walker is a nurse that lives next to Jack. He has wild parties constantly at his house and she cannot stand him or his parties. When a baby girl is left at Jack’s front door, Juliet decides to help him out and shows how to become a dad and a family. Stephanie St. Klaire did an awesome job on this book. It is definitely hard to put down and it is especially hard not to laugh throughout the whole thing
This book did not disappoint. I laughed, I cried, I got hit in all the feels. Jack is a hotshot fireman with the reputation as a player. Julia is an ER nurse accused of having a “stick up her butt.” Two neighbors could not be any more opposite than these two. Throw in a baby and watch the sparks and hilarity fly. I look forward to more like this.
