If you HATE enemies to lovers, swoony firefighters, strong sassy heroines, and surprise babies with a twist…this book isn’t for you! Uh Oh! Women are setting their lawns on fire and sticking random cats in trees all over town so they can dial 911 and get a glimpse of Jack Decker’s… hearts are ablaze all over the city because he is H-O-T…hot!
The ladies around town may want to heat up Jack’s sheets and let them smolder, but he has his eye on the blonde firecracker neighbor with the stick up her…
Jules is the feisty know it all next door who isn’t impressed by the bachelor, or rumors of his infamous…stuff. Living next door to the towns hottest hero is like living next to a non-stop frat party.
When an unexpected twist of fate lands at Jacks door, he needs Jules help…and sparks fly. This is one fire he doesn’t know how to battle, especially when Jules starts to question if Jack’s reputation is built on merit or are they just rumors.

Oh my gosh!!!! Stephanie St. Klaire had me under her spell from the very beginning. This is one of my favorite enemies to lovers story. Never have so many characters captured my heart like the ones in this book, from Jules, Jack, and baby Ramsey to Felix and Marty!
The electricity between Juliet, aka Jules, and Jack is evident from the beginning even if it’s hidden behind insults and anger. All that changes one day when a precious baby girl is left on Jack’s doorstep with a birth certificate with him named as her father. Jack has no clue what to do with baby Ramsey. Jules becomes a support system to Jack, and the two even develop a friendship. Still…underneath is that chemistry. The more Jules sees him with Ramsey, and the more she gets to know the real Jack, not the man candy that is popular all over town, the more deeply she starts falling for him. Jack had already fallen for her.
The storyline was fantastic, and St. Klaire really gave me some laughs….Jack’s postpartum blues…hysterical! I felt like with each chapter I got to know something more about Jack and Jules. They certainly aren’t the people they were in the first chapter of the book. And, the secondary characters, especially Marty, just added more to the book. That woman deserves a book of her own!!!! I think you will agree once you read it.
As much as I loved the storyline and the great characters, one thing really jumped out at me that set this book apart from any book I have ever read. The story is told in a third person narrative, yet Jules and Jack’s thoughts were clearly illustrated. It was completely amazing to me. I honestly felt like I was sitting across from Stephanie St. Klaire, and she was telling me this incredible love story about this amazing couple. That really drew me into the book! I felt like I knew all the characters and the author personally. This writer is new to me, but she has blown me away! I can’t wait to read her other books.
This is my first book from this author and I went into this book fairly blind after being told this was a MUST READ, my curiosity was peaked and she certainly didn’t let me down. !
The DILF diaries is very entertaining and quite the page turner. It made me laugh out loud quite a few times. If you like enemies to lovers then this is your type of book. The plot will have you hooked with brilliant engaging characters and a plot line filled with humour, tension, passion, friendship, family and a bit of drama.
I really liked the main characters in Jake, the sexy, playboy firefighter who likes to annoy his neighbour sexy, sensible, feisty nurse, Juliet. After a lot of encounters full of confrontation when they discover the cute bundle of joy on his doorstep and Jake’s life is turned upside down Juliet steps up to help him. The chemistry between them sizzles with the sparks ready to ignite at any moment. Opposites really do attract.
DILF Diaries is a laugh out loud Rom-Com and a great start to a new series. Love Jack and Juliet (Jules) together. This well written sweet story is full of humor, mystery, drama, romance and twists that had me turning the page to find out what would happen next. This author writes the best Rom-Coms and I can’t wait to read the next book in this fun series!
Jack Decker, hot shot fireman and walking fantasy, never expected to find a baby on his front porch or a birth certificate claiming that he was the father. With no one to turn to, he begins relying on his sexy spitfire neighbor who just happen to be a nurse.
Juliet thinks her neighbor is loud, obnoxious, annoying . . . and panty melting hot. When he turns to her for help with baby Ramsey, however, she can’t resist, especially when she realizes that Jack is really trying to do the right thing and make every effort he can to give Ramsey the best life he possibly can.
While they may have started hanging out daily because of Ramsey, they soon find themselves wanting more than a neighborly relationship. When Ramsey’s custody is called into question, both Jack and Juliet will do everything they can to make sure she stays where she should . . . for Jack, that means fighting with everything he has and going after what he wants. But, for Juliet it means giving up everything she ever wanted. Can they find a way to keep Ramsey and give her the home she needs as a couple, or will their romance go up in smoke?
Oh Baby was laugh out loud funny, off the charts sexy and about as sweet as apple pie. The comedic banter of this book is hilarious. Jack and Jules constantly bait one another with words and it acts as foreplay for their slow burn (not quite) enemies to lovers romance they have going on. When they finally do get together, they are off the charts hot together. What I loved most, however, was Jack and Jules realizing how much they really did have in common. Appearances can be deceptive, and the more time these neighbors spend together, the more they realize that.
Watching Jack learn to love and be a father is beautifully written. It feels very sincere and is completely adorable to read. Watching Jules let down her walls and have a bit of fun as she learns to trust Jack is brilliant as well. The scene with a drunk Jules is priceless and hilarious.
The secondary characters in this book such as Felix, Rosa and Teagan add a great level of depth and help keep pushing the story forward in unexpected ways.
Honestly, by the title, and even the blurb, I wasn’t expecting more than a sexy romp of a story and was thrilled that Oh Baby was so much more! It was an unexpected pleasure to read! 5 stars!
This book truly surprised me in the best of ways!
I adored Jack and Jules! I wasn’t completely sure what to expect of him, I especially with his “playboy” ways, but he stepped up to the plate when things got tough and really proved himself to me in the best ways!
I also loved the way he and Jules interacted. And she just KNEW how to push his buttons, which had me chuckling throughout the book.
100% recommend this book!
I love this book so much. SSK has a way with Rom-Com that is like no other. I am always amazed at just how funny she is. Her Romantic Suspense books are always awesome, but this is on an entirely different level. Jack and Jules are two of my faves. I am ready for the next big thing from SSK.
Good, but…..
I enjoyed this book. It is a campy, summer read. Jack is a good looking fireman who is left with a baby on his doorstep. Jules is a neighbor who is immune to his charms. Once a baby is involved, things change. Not quickly, but they do change.
I like this author writing and I like how her books are fresh and original, but I am way over the guy is so hot that the town women are just frothing at the mouth over him. Not all guys are going to be my panties melt at the thought or sight of him. I understand the theme of DILF, but does it have to be repeated over and over. That is why this is not a 4 or 5 star read for me.
4 Stars
Jack Decker’s pecker (or theory of) brings ALL the girls to the yard hehe. Single or married, they flock to him, but the one he really wants to get the attention of is resistant to his charms. The need to rile Juliet up is his number one past time. Juliet is an ER nurse and is disgusted with the behavior of her unruly neighbor, or she tries to be. Being sexy as sin with a body to die for makes it hard for Juliet to resist this man’s charms. What makes it even harder is when a baby girl is dumped on his doorstep. Seeing how Jack is with Ramsey makes Juliet see him in a whole new light.
The DILF Diaries is St. Klaire’s dive into a new RomCom series and she’s off to a great start. DILF Diaries is cute, funny and charming. There’s not a lot of sexy time, but definitely full of humor and the cuteness that is Ramsey.

Okay, I will admit that I did not know what DILF meant until I asked the author! Lol. That being said, I didn’t think I would enjoy this genre of romance. But I was SO wrong!!! This book was a 5 star read and I enjoyed this romantic comedy immensely. Stephanie St. Klaire writes about real social issues with compassion and humor. Her descriptions of her hero and heroine are consistent throughout the book and are revealed as both lovable and flawed. She paints a great story without the feel of a fairytale. The sex scenes were tasteful, not graphic and the author delivers a realistic HEA ending. I can’t wait for this author’s next book!
ack Decker can’t seem to believe that there’s someone out there that seems to be oblivious to his charms. It was interesting to watch a self-assured, full of himself, male become flustered. I know I should feel sorry for him but I can’t help but laugh at his expense. And once I got started I just couldn’t seem to stop. Every time I turned around the author wrote another scene that just tickled my funny bone.
Juliet Walker knows how to give as good as she gets. But she’s also very caring about others. I have to say that Jack and Juliet aside, Marty has to be my favorite character in this story – she’s a real firecracker and one of the reasons I keep cracking up. This story left me hoping to see more of her. She’s a great secondary character that helps to move a scene along as well as leaving you looking forward to the next one.
The author had me stopping on a dime – and that included my laughter. Now that was very smart on her part because some may assume that they’ve figured everything out and just leave things be. For me, it was just the right push to carry me to the end. The sad part was that I didn’t want it to end.
This is one of those books that I don’t care how busy I am, if I need a stress reliever that will give me a good chuckle than this is going to be at the top of the pile. It’s also a book that left me saying, “Yes please, give me more”. And yes, I looked to find out that there are at least two more titles coming, which made me very happy.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
DILF Diaries was a funny, deep amazingly written love story. Jack the firefighter is definitely the definition of a DILF! Jules is the perfect little firecracker he needed!! I loved the drama of the story and the constant banter between Jules and jack!!
Loved how humerous this book was written and I cannot wait for the future DILF books!!!
Talk about opposites attract! Jack Decker has an interesting nickname that puts him the category of the ultimate party guy. In every sense of the phrase. His house is the party house filled with people who get drunk, rowdy, and frisky. Juliet Walker is the responsible nurse next door. She minds her own business. She is beyond dedicated to her work. When they clash, its in a huge way. Yelling at each other with one zingers that would make the mic drop generation proud.
What brings them together under a mutual truce is a baby. Ramsey is left on Jack’s doorstep and thrust into his life. He is a little confused as to how this will change his life but thanks to his extended family, he has a chance to adjust. Jules (as Jack likes to call her to get under her skin) is taken with Ramsey. Her feelings for the little girl grow fast and swift. Her feelings for Jack grow without her realizing too.
Jack is one of the most misunderstood characters I have read. He lets his reputation preceed him and is ok with that until it could destroy everything. I loved his character and his ability to love his extended family without them being aware. He is the alpha male that is in the backround protecting everyone.
I adore the way Ms. St. Klaire writes Rom coms. Her characters are sarcastic with a flair for the sometimes dramatic. I especially enjoyed Marty. Marty is the doting mother type of the firehouse. BUT don’t tell her she cares about those boys. She’ll cut off from her cornbread.
OMG what can I say this is the best book I have read in a while. It had me laughing and at times crying. I love books that have babies in them and a single parent. But a single dad is out of this world. Stephanie out did all the rest with this book. I hope she can write more like this. This book it well worth the wait and money. I hope everyone loves it as much as I did. I had no idea what DILF stood for but man if I want be looking in to more books like this. Thanks Stephanie St. Klaire for all the time you put in to this book.
Firefighter Jack has a reputation. A naughty reputation. Nurse Juliet does not have a reputation. Naughty or otherwise. There is mutual dislike…or perhaps that’s too harsh…a mutual ‘leave me alone’ attitude. There is, however, a mutual ‘let’s see where we might go’ vibe going on as well.
When an incident in Jack’s past is literally dumped on his front porch, Juliet steps up to save him and the ‘let’s see where we might go’ becomes ‘here we go’.
A fun RomCom from Stephanie St. Klaire, who has written fabulous romantic suspense. It’s nice to see a relatively new author break out and try a new genre, and this absolutely works!
A clever Rom com from Stephanie St. Klaire. Hunky Jack lives next door to beautiful and witty Juliet. Juliet believes and has been told by many that Jack is nothing but a manwhore. She witnesses his loud parties with all sorts of bimbo’s hanging around. Unbeknownst to anyone Jack isn’t all that he seems. The last straw with Juliet is a baby crying on his front steps. Someone left a baby saying it’s Jack’s which sends Juliet back to thinking low things about Jack Decker no matter how hard he denies it.
Stephanies characters are well developed the story is lol funny and well written. The wit that Stephanie gives her characters is nothing short of awesome. Quick comebacks galore. If you like laugh out loud funny, sexy and hot romance with a few twists this is it. I highly recommend “DILF Diaries: Oh Baby!”
Wow, what a hilariously funny story by one of my favorite authors. A five star for sure.
Jack is a player in more than one way. Even his nickname is funny. But when life steps in Jack proves he is the one that is the go to guy. He makes sure everyone is taken care of even his daughter who he never knew about.
Juliet is the opposite of Jack. She is a devoted nurse and after some past mistakes she doesn’t want a life of endless parties but an honest to goodness man who will love her and she will love back.
When these two neighbors go at it it is so funny but Juliet doesn’t let Jack throw her off her game and Jack can’t figure out why she isn’t falling at his feet. But when Jack needs her Juliet doesn’t let him down. A must read.
This book goes to show that you cant judge a book by its cover!
This book has many interesting and fun characters in it. Their interactions and stories keep the reader turning the page and over all feeling good.
Jack Decker is an all around good guy, a local hero and a good friend to all, except…. his seemingly sensitive next door neighbor Juliet Walker. To Juliet he is the town(if you can call Portland a town) gigolo know as Jack the Pecker Decker. Thanks to a friend she has heard all of the rumors and for some reason, believes them. To Jack, she is Jules(a name she hates, that only he calls her)or Nurse Ratchet, the “stick up her butt”neighbor that complains about his Friday twice monthly barbecues.
These two haven’t taken a chance to know each other, until the day that a crying baby is left on Jack’s doorstep.
This already colorful story gets more exciting by the minute, and Jack and Juliet are thrown together for the good of Baby Ramsey. Throw in ; the large Munoz family led by momma Rosie, best friend and local cop Felix, the guys at the firehouse, and Marty their colorful keeper, you really have a great story with many fun personalities.
And the plot twists……. Stephanie throws great twists in her books to keep the reader turning the page! My one criticism is that i wished that there was more story with James Walker and perhaps Teagan, i would really love to know how the after scenes played out.
Stephanie St. Klaire had me laughing from the beginning of her book. I loved reading and following Jack and Juliet’s story, as they go from not so friendly neighbors to finding a family. I can’t wait to see what is next from this author.
Slow burn enemies to lovers story with a baby to add cuteness. I loved how Juliet wasn’t afraid to stand up to Jack, no matter who was around – a strong woman, confident in her identity. Jack was an interesting character because what you see is not what you get. He was a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde character in that he showed most of the world his public side, but had all sorts of layers that only those close to him could see. The growth he showed as a character once his daughter came into the picture made me feel warm and fuzzy. I also enjoyed several of the secondary characters and am hoping there will be book(s) in the series about Teagan and Felix specifically.
Stephanie St. Klaire has a great stand alone rom-com on her hands. She captured my interest from the start and did not let go. After reading this book, I wish I were neighbors with Jack Decker.
Jack Decker has quite the reputation. He’s a modern day hero being a fire fighter. Women in his town know his schedule by heart because he’s the guy everyone wants to be with, ogle, and dream about. Everyone that is, except his neighbor Juliet. She’s turned off by his playboy tendencies and has no problem letting him know her opinion of him. That is until fate drops something at his door.
I found myself flying through the pages to read this book to find out what would happen next. I loved the chemistry and connection of characters, as well as the lengths they go to get each other’s attention. I can’t wait to see what Stephanie St. Klaire has in store for us next.
