If you HATE enemies to lovers, swoony firefighters, strong sassy heroines, and surprise babies with a twist…this book isn’t for you! Uh Oh! Women are setting their lawns on fire and sticking random cats in trees all over town so they can dial 911 and get a glimpse of Jack Decker’s… hearts are ablaze all over the city because he is H-O-T…hot!
The ladies around town may want to heat up Jack’s sheets and let them smolder, but he has his eye on the blonde firecracker neighbor with the stick up her…
Jules is the feisty know it all next door who isn’t impressed by the bachelor, or rumors of his infamous…stuff. Living next door to the towns hottest hero is like living next to a non-stop frat party.
When an unexpected twist of fate lands at Jacks door, he needs Jules help…and sparks fly. This is one fire he doesn’t know how to battle, especially when Jules starts to question if Jack’s reputation is built on merit or are they just rumors.

Jack Decker officially known as Jack “The Pecker” Decker is Portland’s hottest eligible bachelor and resident firefighter. When he is not working putting out fires, he is causing them in women’s panties. He is officially known as the panty melter, because yes, he is that HOT! Women set their lawns on fire just to get a peak at his *cough* hose. Local mommies huddle in packs just to get a look at those man buns..and…err hose! Women just can’t seem to get enough of Mr Pecker…I mean Mr. Decker! Heck..even I can’t get enough of Jack “The Pecker” Decker!
Juliet Walker is the only female in the entire state who probably does not like her frat boy next door neighbor who tends to throw loud parties when she is trying to relax after a long hard day at work as a nurse. Jack Decker is on her list…the naughty list! Juliet is a hard-ass and is determined to make sure Jack knows she is not a happy camper having him as her neighbor. So what if he has a nice set of abs and a legendary pecker, it’s not as if she would ever dare go there. As if!
But what happens when a baby gets thrown into the mix? Does Juliet get to see a side of Jack that makes her realize he is more than what everyone says he is?
Oh. My. God! I sooooooooo want to be Jack’s neighbor. Why am I never that lucky! Just once can’t a hot guy move in next door and look all cute holding a baby so I can be all like “Awwwww.” Gosh, I think this book is turning me into a stalker! Now all I want to do is drive by the fire departments in my city and check out the goods and find me some man candy. Stephanie St. Klaire really knows how to make a smoking hot hero that has my panties all twisted! You are an evil evil writer! Why must you be so GOOD! Grrrr……
If you can’t already tell, I really love the hero of this story. He is a really fleshed out three dimensional character that I find incredibly sexy, funny and down right charming. He is well aware of his “reputation” and is quite fine letting the rumors spread like wildfire. Not only do I love our hero, Jack, but Juliet is just as equal in every way. She is a five foot nothing spitfire who gives as good as she gets. The witty banter between Jack and juliet seriously had me laughing up a storm. The connection between the two of them is like an inferno. I could not wait for jack and Juliet to realize just how perfect they were for each other.
The plot is funny and serious all wrapped up and blended perfectly together creating a true gem of a story that I wish would have never ended. There are so many scenes where I laughed out loud so hard that even my dog jumped up from his bed wondering what was going on. Jack having postpartum depression had to be the funniest scene ever. Stephanie St Klaire really bring the comedy to romance and does it so effortlessly and so brilliantly that you instantly crave even more.
Stephanie St. Klaire writes with such passion and emotion and has quickly become an auto-buy author for me. I don’t even need to read a synopsis. If the book has the St. Klaire name on it, I already know it is going to be a winner and a keeper. DILF DIARIES: OH BABY is the first in the series and I absolutely can not wait to read the next book featuring Feliz, Jack’s hot Police officer friend. I’m going to need some handcuffs for this next installment!
If you are a huge fan of romcom you certainly do not want to miss this book. DILF DIARIES: OH BABY has a permanent spot on my keeper shelf as well as being another one of my top reads for the year.
I have read everything Stephanie has written and this new genre….she nailed it! Romantic comedy she can definitely do!
A legend of a firefighter and a nurse, you would think they would be the perfect couple. Not so with these 2 neighbors. He has loud parties and she wants to sleep because she works long shifts. He has women putting cats in trees and lighting stuff on fire just to see his “hose” When he gets the surprise of his life, the nurse in Juliet cant help but come to his rescue. Things happen and shit hits the fan. lol
That’s all the story I’m giving away. You need to read this! I howled out loud, laughed my ass off and had my family look at me like I was crazy. I was chuffing and huffing and cheering and scowling through the whole book. I absolutely loved it!
No, seriously!! Go get a copy! It’s really worth the read!
Another hit for Stephanie St. Klaire. Jack and Jules story is quick to grab you and pull you in, add in a little surprise when you think things can’t get any better and this story will own you! DILF Series: Oh Baby is funny, romantic, playful, and sweet with the right amount of steam. I hope this turns into a series because all characters are awesome and after getting a taste I’m ready for the next course.
I am sitting here trying to sort all of my thoughts on this book. It is my first from this author, and I can say that I wasn’t disappointed. I was all-in from start to finish.
I love an laugh out loud romcom. Especially one with characters who are well developed and have an apparent chemistry. Between their chemistry and their witty banter, this book is definitely a hit for me!
I loved Jack. I knew from the get-go that he wasn’t everything everyone made him out to be. It was clear that he was more than just your everyday playboy. His charisma and charm are a big part of his character that told me this book was going to be a wonderful ride.
Juliet is the perfect match for Jack. Her take no crap attitude told me that I was definitely going to get a great story with these two. She is the perfect match, in more way than one, for Jack.
I found myself not only laughing constantly throughout this book, but falling for these characters in a great way. Their chemistry was off the charts. Their enemies to lovers relationship was a great journey.
I will admit, there were times that were a bit much for me. A little too over the top for my liking. Those few times weren’t a deal breaker though. The rest of the book was good enough that I was able to just brush them off and move on.
This an enjoyable, funny, witty, and sweet happily ever after. I couldn’t have asked for much more.
This LOL romantic comedy had so many different layers and LOADS of heart and heat, I am STILL smiling about it! There were moments I thought I might die of laughter…and lets not forget about those swoon-worthy ones too, because they were just as unforgettable!
Jack was seriously YUMMY. He is one of those heroes you drool over. He makes you laugh, swoon, sigh and beg for while Jules had spunk and sass and will make you want to high five her! Jack and Jules had such great SMOKING HOT chemistry. This enemies to lovers type of romantic comedy was outrageously funny, darn sexy and wonderfully amusing! I had a blast reading this book and I think others will too. A definite MUST READ for this sizzling summer! This is one romantic comedy readers will demand more of. Its the kind of fun that will make you grin and laugh out loud and the romance will be enough to keep things steamy for hours after you put the book down. Stephanie St. Klaire you have a RED HOT WINNER of a book!
DILF Diaries: Oh Baby gets a WILDLY ENTERTAINING FIVE RED HOT STARS!
Who doesn’t love a good girl-next-door story? Combine that with a hot firefighter and you’ve got me sold! Super cute and fun, it will have you shaking your head and fanning yourself. Awesome!
I’m not even really sure where to start with this.
This book has a cute blurb, a cool cover, and a crap-ton of glowy reviews telling me how fabulous it is. So, why was I only able to read about 20% of the book before I angrily deleted the file off my Kindle? Well, it’s like this…
Jack, the hero:
There’s a number of things I didn’t like about Jack right from the start.
1. First of all, he’s a grown-ass man who throws keggers (oh, excuse me, “barbeques”) at his house every night where he and his manwhore friends hang out/have sex with scantily clad women of dubious intelligence and intent. Jack seems to have trouble remembering the girls’ names. (Mostly because he doesn’t give a crap about any of them. He’s a real charmer, Jack is.)
2. Jack doesn’t seem concerned or offended that everyone in town calls him Jack “the Pecker” Decker. I thought they called him that because he’s pretty much a giant bag of dicks throughout the first 20% of the story, but no, I think everyone calls him that as a lame shout-out to his alleged sexual prowess. Whatever. Either way, it’s not really the kind of nickname Jack should be proud of.
3. He’s not at all apologetic when his keggers keep his hard-working neighbor, Juliet, awake at all hours of the night. Like I said, he’s a giant bag of dicks.
4. Jack remembers the heroine’s name because he stalked her. Oh, sure, it was done under the cutesy guise of “hey, you gotta know your neighbors these days”, but guys, if you have a cop friend run a girl’s license so you can get a bunch of personal info about her without talking to her, you’re a creepy stalker.
Juliet, the heroine:
Juliet is far less annoying than Jack, but I’m not a fan of the whole “grumpy lady hates neighbor but still can’t stop herself from staring open-mouthed at his naked chest” trope. Smart, capable women should not be rendered dumb and mute by a pretty face and a nice set of pecs, especially when the man attached to said face and pecs is a giant bag of dicks. Also, it irked me that Juliet kept mentioning how she “saves lives” at her job. She’s a nurse, so the statement is true, but real nurses don’t go around telling anyone who’ll listen about how they “save lives” all day. It’s just not done. And every time Juliet said it, she sounded really pretentious and douche-y.
90% of the other women in town:
The women that I saw in the first 20% of the story were either:
Drunk and stumbling around one of Jack’s kegger parties
So desperate to get Jack’s attention that they were willing to a) stakeout his house, b) dress like a hooker and wash their car multiple times a week, c) fake car trouble, or d) shove a child to the ground so that he’d come to the rescue.
Frankly, the portrayal of women in this book was fairly disgusting. Only the heroine and the obligatory coarse older lady who helped out at the fire station were spared from looking like complete simpering fools.
The old “men are idiots” trope
Why is it that when babies show up, so many romance novel heroes turn into completely incompetent idiots? I mean, I understand when they’re overwhelmed and need help. But when they don’t seem to know how to feed or hold a baby, or have even have an inkling of what a baby might need, I’m irritated. Even my pre-teen son knows that a baby needs to eat every few hours, and that you need diapers, a crib, and clean clothes to care for one. I’m betting even he’d know how to hold a baby, too. Jack is a firefighter, a full-fledged grown-up. The fact that he is so completely clueless about babies (and assumes that a woman without children should know everything about how to care for them) is not in any way endearing or funny. It’s just…pathetic.
Lame “hose” references:
One or two “hose” jokes are to be expected in a romance about a firefighter. But I only read 20% of this book and encountered so many hose references that I started considering making this book a drinking game during which I would take a shot for every time something in the book made me roll my eyes. But then I realized that if I did this, I’d die of alcohol poisoning and thought better of the idea.
Head hopping:
I had to read the first interactions between Juliet and Jack four times before I understood what was going on because the point of view shifted every few paragraphs. So, one paragraph would be written from Juliet’s POV, then we’d switch abruptly to Jack’s. It was super jarring. (And annoying.)
So, long-story-short, I wanted Jack “giant bag of dicks” Decker to contract a nasty case of syphilis that Juliet “I save lives, I’m kind of a big deal” wasn’t able to cure him of, and eventually succumb to the disease. I’m guessing that’s not how the story ended, though, which is too bad.

Fresh, exciting and laugh out loud funny! With the first book in the DILF DIARIES series, we meet sexy firman Jack Decker and watch him meander his way through hilarious situations all while wooing the girl next door and settling into a new lifestyle. The characters are a lot of fun, and the story is downright sweet. Really enjoyed it!
Fireman Jack Decker is the talk of the town! Men want to be like him, women want to be with him. From old ladies calling with their cat up a tree to mommy clubs walking by his house to hot women throwing themselves at him every where he goes … he’s the man in demand! Yet the one woman he needs to woo hates him.
ER nurse Juliet Walker can’t stand her neighbor! His egotistical frat boy like behavior is so demeaning. Loud parties, barely dressed women hanging all over, recounts of his escapades all over town … what a jerk! When an unexpected surprise shows up that sends Jack scurrying to her door to beg for her help, Juliet for the first time has some leverage to get the partying to stop interrupting her peace and quiet … but as she gets to know Jack, she comes to realize he’s more than just the rumors!
Such a sweet and lovely story about a fireman with a playboy reputation hiding his inner insecurities with his lady killer pose. A surprise package is delivered to his door, and his friends and neighbour help him adjust. Lovely to watch the enemies to friends to lovers story unfold. Some laugh out loud moments and then onto the tugging of your heartstrings.
I love books with firefighters in them, so this book was no exception. Jack Decker is known as a firefighter and a playboy. Juliet Carter is an ER nurse and, coincidentally, Jack’s neighbor. I’ll warn you now that this is an enemies to lovers romance story. Juliet considers Jack an annoying, immature party boy. He privately thinks “Jules” is the bomb. Things change drastically when a sweet baby girl is literally dropped on his doorstep. Could he really be baby Ramsey’s father? When Jack enlists his neighbor’s help with Ramsey something wonderful happens. Juliet starts to like him.
I really enjoyed the DILF Diaries! It’s a sweet and a bit steamy story. 4 stars!
Jack Decker is not the player he is rumored to be. Juliet is a strong willed women who is going to kill her neighbor Jack for all his parties he throws. All comes to a screeching halt when a baby appears on his door step that is potential his. Juliet steps into the chaos his life has become and makes it make sense.
St. Klaire wrote a heroine that can give back as good as she gets. I loved the playful give and take between Jack and Juliet as they fell in love.

If you want a hilariously funny, heartstrings pulling amazing book then DILF Diaries: Oh Baby is for you!!
Everybody loves smexy firefighter Jack “The Pecker” Decker and his “hose” with the exception of nurse and next door neighbor Juliet “Jules”. The women in town have his routine down and the mommy and me group gathers at the park at the exact time he cuts through on his daily jog, wash their cars everyday when they knows he’s going to pass by their homes etc., they all want the chance to be with Jack, Jules thinks he’s a pig and a ladies man. One day Jack’s life changes when he hears a baby crying outside and persistent knocking on his door, he finds Jules standing there holding a baby telling him she was left on her doorstep with a note and her birth certificate listing him as the father. Not having a clue what to do with a baby he calls his best friend Felix Munoz and asks Jules for her help, she is unable to resist the precious baby’s face and helps him get the baby into a doctor by calling in a favor to the pediatrician who has been trying to get Jules to go on a date with him for months. Ramsey receives a clean bill of health from Dr. Jase Detweiler, so Jules & Jack stop at the store to load up on stuff to get Jack and Ramsey through a few days while things got figured out. Arriving back home they find the Munoz women (and Jack’s adopted family) armed with all sorts of baby supplies, food and an endless amount of love and support for Jack and Ramsey.
After a while Ramsey’s aunt Laura decides she misses the baby and made a mistake leaving Ramsey with Jack so she tries to get custody of the baby claiming she was overcome with grief at having just lost her sister in a car accident. Jack needs to find an attorney to help him win and keep custody of his daughter, he turns to Felix (whose uncle went to law school, but never passed the bar) for advice on how to find an attorney. Jack, Jules, Felix’s uncle and the union attorney are in a meeting when Teagan who’s a powerhouse of an attorney walks in and tells everyone she is Jack’s attorney. Teagan tells Jack and Jules it would look better if they were an engaged couple, so they decide to go ahead with the charade of saying they are right down to the engagement party. Jack loses custody of Ramsey, but after only a few days Laura feels it is to much for her to handle brings her to Jack and explains this. Teagan has a way of knowing when and where she’s needed shows up with papers she had drawn up ahead of time giving Jack custody of Ramsey and visitation rights to the aunt. Both sides agree with the custody papers and sign off on them. Jack, Jules and Ramsey are an amazing family.
You have a hottie firefighter that’s just not what he portrays, and the goody twoshoes next door that just want to believe what she thinks is real. When Jack finds out he is a father he steps up to become the best dad he can be with the help of friends and family, and his neighbor Juliet. Let the sparks fly and the laughs begin as they learn to fall in love not only with the little girl that will steal anyones heart but with each other.
A hilarious romcom that I really enjoyed! Great summer read!
Absolutely love this story!!! I laughed so hard I snorted and cried. Dilf Diaries has wonderful characters who are both witty, strong and independent, very well written making it a non stop read and making me long for the next book in this series. Jake is an incredibly hot alpha Male who all women want, juliet is a strong independent woman who has a great heart but doesnt take no crap..
Omg! Stephanie St. Klaire did it again! What a start to another great series! Hot firefighter Jack Decker and beautiful nurse and neighbor Juliet Walker have spitfire and chemistry from the get go! Throw a baby into the mix and you a fabulous story! I smiled and laughed a lot while reading the book! Another fun read from Stephanie!
What a fun read I laughed myself silly Jules is a woman after my own heart I love her witty ways, her sense of humor and lord those comebacks are just darling. Jake is something else at times I am unsure if he knew the effect he had on women or if he overlooked it. I don’t know who was more shocked Jules, Jack or me when he opened the door to find the bundle of joy she held. This is one of the best and most fun enemies to lover’s story I have read. There was nothing I didn’t love about it from the plot to the characters. I thought I would die laughing the first time I read Jack “the Pecker” Decker and how everyone picked on him and told the stories.
There is no doubt Jake likes to party and no doubt his neighbor hates them. Jack is about to learn a lesson the hard way and Jules is just love giving it. There are some surprises along the way, some trying times filled with drama. It is a feel good romance that you will enjoy from the start to the finish. I will have to say the author hooked me from the first word until the last with a delightful story that sucked me in. It was a story I couldn’t put down and plan to read again. The book is hilarious, the character even more so, I loved the fast lines that keep them going at each other. I also enjoyed the serious side and the buildup of the romance. It is a well-thought-out story that will keep you entertained for hours. I really didn’t want the story to end. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Highly entertaining, emotionally thrilling, laugh out loud fun enemies to lovers romantic journey filled with witty banter and undeniable passion…..
Jack and Juliet are an adorable couple that find each other in the most unexpected way and fight the attraction every inch of the way in the most entertaining way. Loved the setting and charters in this fun summertime relax in a lawn chair with a cold drink on a hot day read.
Stephanie St. Klaire has hit a knock-it-out-of-the-park grand slam with this book! It is a passionate, sweet, hilarious story that I could not put down from start to finish.
Jack is a firefighter who has a reputation based on the size, and skill, of his “hose.” Juliet is his neighbor, who is not at all impressed with his lifestyle or exploits.
They are drawn together when Jack gets a surprise delivery. What follows is a laugh out loud series of madcap adventures, with plenty of sweet and sizzle thrown into the mix.
This will be one of those books that I keep to read over again. I highly recommend it!
This book was hilarious!! It’s a must read
