I absolutely love the Ball books by Andie . Every single one of them is always very interesting and full of humor. I have to say that this one so far is maybe the best one. Dora (mom) is not feeling like herself. She believes that she might be pregnant but in fact that is not what it is. Tyler and his girl are going to have a baby and she is sick all most of the time. Cam and her husband never seem to have time for each other but need to plan a wedding. The happy moment in this is Beth when she decided to surprise everyone. But in the end all of them are surprised when things happen that you never show coming.
I absolutely love this very well written book from beginning to end. Once again Dora’s character is amazing in this book. She has so much strength no matter what is thrown at her and she is always there no matter what for her children. I absolutely love that she gets her happy ending so to speak during this one.
But then again all the characters in this book are always amazing to read about. There is such great character depth and humor while reading about what these characters go through. I cant wait to read more from these characters. I highly recommend not only reading this one but the whole series.
Curve Balls is another fabulous read in the Ball Games series.
I loved the multi POVs; I felt they added to my reading experience and there was never a dull moment throughout the book as I have learned to expect. Dora really is the most amazing person and I loved getting to know Miranda, Dora’s sister, in this story too.
Andie M. Long has done another amazing job of writing the perfect short story. I loved the humour and seeing how the characters dealt with the real-life challenges that they faced. I’m really not wanting this series to end.
I just want to start out by saying I absolutely love Andie M. Long’s writing. She not only gives us a great story but it’s full of humor and the characters are amazing! The Turner family is hilarious and I can’t get enough of them. No matter how crazy the family antics gets they always pull together in the end. Curve Balls is book 6 in The Ball Games series and I look forward to reading more books by this talented writer.
Curve Balls by Andie M. Long a superb and stunning five-star read. This is the sixth book in the Ball Games series, and the series keeps getting better and better. This book deals with all of the Turners and their better halves and friends, the whole gang pop up along with some new relatives to keep us fresh and funny. The best part of it for me, Dora is back with a bang, or maybe a bump she isn’t sure yet. The Kids are trying to keep it going, Tyler is growing up, and Cam and Dylan face a dilemma. There is plenty to keep you hooked in this book, and once again Andie M. Long pulls it out of the bag and writes a funny and captivating read, I read this book in record time waiting in a car park for my husband. I made him sit and wait while I read the last 10 pages as I wasn’t moving till it was done!! If you haven’t read the series you need it in your life!!

My Review:
I adore Andie M. Long and her clever and bawdy sense of humor. Her riotously funny Ball Games series has never failed to give me the giggle-snorts. Curve Balls is #6 and I am even more enamored with this eclectic, quirky, and extremely colorful group of family and friends. While it is hard to pick a favorite character, Dora has to be at the top of my list as she is such an outrageous drama llama with her hilarious over-reactions and revenge plots, although she comes by it naturally given her mother’s example. Curve Balls provided an update on all the couples featured in the previous installments, with the theme of this issue being pregnancy concerns. The couples were either enduring, dreading, considering, or fearing the possibility of being within the family way. And I am happy to report I have a newly acquired Brit vocabulary word to add to my list – bint; which means a bit on the side like a tarty girlfriend. Of course, it would be a shade naughty, I would expect nothing less from Ms. Long. I’m already looking forward to more of this delightful series and fervently hoping that this talented wordsmith is currently locked in the attic and scribbling away on the next installment.
