I have my men. I have my powers. But are they enough to stop an evil we can’t see?Arjun’s world has been turned upside down, but he’s shoved his pain away to train me for our biggest, most dangerous shifter rescue we’ve ever done. He says we’re doomed to fail, but I can’t turn my back on the helpless. And even while he’s pushing me away, I can’t give up on us. If that wasn’t enough, my siblings … that wasn’t enough, my siblings need help and there’s no time left. We’re hundreds of miles away from each other, but I can’t abandon the shifters. No matter what I decide, the odds are stacked against me.
I have to make an impossible choice: abandon those only I can save, or watch my worst fear come true– losing my loved ones to a monster.
Step right up. The ride ends here.
Curtain Call is the sixth and final volume in the Harem of Freaks series, which should be read in order. Contains violence, M/M and M/F sexual situations.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
This series has been quite the ride from start to finish but man did we get one explosive ending!!! We finally get the answers to all of questions, plenty of stuff going on, and the culmination of all the relationship building. All leading us to the sweet sweet ending that truly gives this fantastic series justice. A total must read series for fans of paranormal RH. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
I thought this finale was really done well by Crystal Ash. We get a lot of tension between Arjun and Melody, some amazing group moments with the guys and Melody too (I wish it didnt have to end haha) and get to meet the bad guy and deal with some nasty villains. I thought the ending was well paced, nothing too drawn out, good back and forth and coming together to defeat Arjun’s stepfather. I felt so bad for Arjun and the guys but they did a great job staying strong and using Melody’s strength to help defeat the organization. I will say the way Melody was able to do things in the climax/pinnacle of the confrontation wasnt really explained. I know it was mentioned and hinted at in different books leading up to it, but it was never explained as like a power of hers or a side effect, etc. I wont give anything away, but that was my only complaint for the storyline.
I loved the ending, made me tear up and smile so hard (and to learn there was an extended epilogue story was even better)!! I loved seeing the side-plot regarding Melody’s family come back and then have closure. I thought the siblings were adorable and Jeannie did a great job keeping them safe/together until the group could help them get out of the terrible home situation. I am not sure if any spinoffs will come from this world, but I would love to see some with Hunter’s kids, Melody’s siblings, and Melody’s kids (Maybe Miriam and her men have some babies too??). That would be cool to see how things changed 15-20 years later, but that’s just me haha. I know once the muse leaves an author its hard to go back, so I completely understand.
Loved binge listening then reading this series. Gonna get back to the extended sexy epilogue and short story of Miriam and her guys (duuuuuude soooo good!).
Bloody hell this book was fantastic!!!! It was a rollercoaster of emotions and I’m still totally hyped up. It was the perfect ending to a fabulous series!!!
I read the other books when they came out, but I was almost afraid to start tis book until now. I knew they would have to go through hell, so I waited a long time before rereading the series and finally reading this book. I’m so happy that I finally got the courage to reade it, because it was amazing!!!!
This author has a gift of creating relatable characters and the worlds they live in. I proudly declare myself a FREAK!
I really didn’t want to read this book. In fact I put it off for a while cos I love the characters so very much I didn’t want the series to end. But I am glad that I read it as I loved it!!! It picks up straight where the last book finished and just carries onwards. It doesn’t let up all the way through. I love the relationships these characters have and the way they deal with what goes on around them. I wish there were more books, I would happily read more about them and how they get on, especially with the news dropped on us to the end. Just brilliant series and I don’t think these characters will ever leave me. Thank you Crystal.
Crystal Ash did an amazing job with Curtain Call the last book of the Harem of Freaks series.
The world just turned upside down for Arjun when he realized that his stepfather is the one who has been capturing shifters and torturing them. Now Melody, Connor, Razvan, Hunter and Arjun must figure out how to take him down and rescue all the captured shifters.
I love how determine Melody is even when the odds are set against her, her interaction to Arjun and the chemistry between them is so hot! I had a lot of laughs watching her and Arjun. What a prick he can definitely be! Melody is one tough gal, doing everything she can do to learn her shaman powers knowing it might not be enough. The interaction of the men, the storyline and what you get? An amazing finale! I absolutely love reading the Harem of Freaks series, there’s plenty of twist and intrigue and of course quite a bit surprise too. A definite must read! I can’t wait to see what else Crystal brings!
Dang I’m sad to see this series end. I love these characters and their big happy family. Raz, Connor, Hunter and Arjun are amazing and hot although Raz and Arjun are my favorites. Mel is strong and her heart is huge. I love how everything wrapped up in this final book. Also fricking finally with Mel and Arjun! I loved the epilogue it was a wonderful way to end the series. I fell in love with the characters and the story within the first chapter of Freak Show and have been anticipating each release and fell more in love with each book. As each of the individual and overall relationships grew and their fight to save the shifters and Mel’s siblings through it all they became the Harem of Freaks that we all love. Creatively written, the characters come alive as you read about their journey. Entertaining and a great circus and supernatural series. I loved every minute of it and it is definitely on my reread list.
Curtain Call: A Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance (Harem of Freaks Book 6) by Crystal Ash is a story that all I can say is WOW!!!!. This story from the very begining kept my interest and left me wanting more after each story. Mainly cause when I read stories writen by Crystal Ash she makes me feel like I am living the story not just reading it. I can not wait to see what she writes next so I can go on my next adventure. I highly recommend this story ,autor and series to everyone who loves reading everything and anything paranormal.
HOLY FREAKING PHENOMENAL!!!
OMG! Wow! Talk about dropping the bomb! I’m standing in total awe of Crystal, her talents and imagination seriously seems to be of a whole universe in wonder and endless possibilities. She totally rocked this bad boy to the core. I mean, really, what did I think was gonna happen. I am talking about an author that can take you from crying your eyes out, down on your knees the next, right on to mad as hell a nanosecond later. She writes with such passion that just flows through the pages bringing this fantastic storyline and thrilling plot roaring to life spectacularly. She builds a whole new family that you can’t help but fall in love with. A kick-ass female lead that shows just how bad she can be. She weaves all the love for the characters right through and flowing so smoothly like a puzzle piece. They all come together so beautifully it’s breathtaking. It’s like watching our kids growing up and leaving home for the first time. I love Crystal’s style and the adventures she takes us on. The characters are complex, believable and so realistic with such depth and individuality it balances each characters traits as it blends. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive it’s like being right there in the middle of ground zero with them and not on the sidelines. This whole series was just mind blowing and that ending. Oh man. Remarkable job Crystal, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
