This is the first mystery I have read from Michelle M. Pillow, and I am now hooked! It was so cute, I loved reading it! All of the characters were fun and interesting, but Marcy and Nicholas were adorable! Add in a bit of mystery surrounding Marcy and her friends, and you have a book that shouldn’t be missed.

Marcy Lewis was unfortunately cursed to have her heart broken over and over, ever since high school. She had a bunch of engagement rings to prove it — even though her most recent ex of the previous evening had stolen them all when he left her for another woman! The curse was odd in that whatever the man she grew close to wanted in a woman, she became! Artist, rodeo rider, whatever! Not by choice – the curse just made it happen. Once the man broke off the engagement, she reverted back to her normal self within a few hours. She just hoped she could stay that way for a little while.
Marcy headed to her job at Witch’s Brew Coffee Shop and Bakery. The owner’s Aunt Polly had a small magic shop in the back storage room of the bakery. Her spells didn’t work out very well, so she wasn’t able to help Marcy get rid of the curse. As Aunt Polly left the bakery, a handsome man walked in. He felt strange, but then saw Marcy and could not take his eyes off her. When she saw him, she looked upset and tried to close the bakery – but he said he was training a bunch of firemen and begged her not to send him back there empty-handed. She got the coffees for him, but he had to run out on a call.
Aunt Polly came by to see Marcy. Despite others not noticing how March’s appearance changed with each love interest, Aunt Polly saw. She figured out about the curse, which wouldn’t let Marcy actually talk about it and what is was doing to her. Aunt Polly told her this was strong, powerful magic. But it was a relief to Marcy to finally have someone who wants to help!
Nicholas had just finished with the fire he had responded to. He was thinking that it was odd, seeming more like an accelerant had been used. This was the fourth fire of the week. Would the Fire Department be able to find the arsonist? Would Nicholas ever admit that he see ghosts? And how long would it take for Marcy to realize that this time the curse was different — Nick liked her for who she really was and she could be herself for him. Who cursed her, and how was the curse meant to end?
I adore these cozy mysteries, and this was a particularly good one! The characters were superb, well described and very likable! There were tons of mysteries to be solved, so the reader is kept busy in this fast-paced story! Don’t let this one pass you by! We even have a love story thrown in for good measure! It doesn’t get much better than that!
Book six in The Happily Everlasting Series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Marcy Lewis and firefighter Nicholas Logan’s story of suspense, drama, danger, pictures, twists, turns, a jealous villain, Aunt Polly a very eccentric witch with a pet lobster, mystery, and romance. This story had me laughing as I read. A story that was well worth reading.
Fun, quirky romance set in the magical town of Everlasting. Marcy has a curse on her when she falls in love; she becomes whatever her romantic partner wants her to be against her wishes, so romance isn’t exactly working well for her. When firefighter, Nicholas, moves to town, there’s a connection between the two, but Marcy tries to deny it. Nicholas may just be the one that’s the perfect fit for Marcy. Sweet chemistry between these two. When some dangerous things start happening around town, Marcy and Nicholas set out to investigate. Fun, light romance with a bit of mystery and humor. Interesting side characters too! Looking forward to reading more in this series!

Marcy has a great job in Everlasting and a really happy life except for one thing, she is cursed. This was a fun read and there is enough drama there to keep you guessing. This book flies by! I love the characters; they all have such different quirks. There are some laugh out loud moments in there as well. Well worth a read.
I liked the book and thought it was cool that both main characters had a little paranormal to them. The ending was a surprise and best of all it had an ending ending. So many books now days end it such a way that you have to read the next book. I like books that tie up the ending and carry the characters into a new story line. Kudos for that. Thanks for an entertaining book that makes me want to read the next one because I want to and not because I have to
I love cozy mysteries and add the paranormal makes for a great read. Marcy has a curse that duplicates her boyfriends images. Everlasting Maine has some great townies and a new one came to town. Will Marcy be able to have a relationship with the new hunky firefighter. This one has has you laughing. If you have not read the rest of the books you will want to after reading this one I know I am.

The town of Everlasting, Maine is a hub for paranormal beings. Marcy Lewis has been cursed since high school. She’s moved around, and now finds herself working at a bakery in Everlasting. A new to the town Firefighter, Nicholas Logan, has stopped at the bakery to get coffee, and meets Marcy. Their story is told with both humor and quirkiness. Several of the secondary characters were introduced in prior books, but it isn’t necessary to have read them to enjoy this book. Those who like mysteries, romances, and the paranormal will enjoy Michelle’s book. An easy read, with no editing problems, well written with well-developed characters. I’d recommend this to everyone, including young adults. I was given an ARC by the author to read, and this is my honest opinion.
I loved this book. It had just the right mix of romance, mystery, supernatural, with a lot of cupcakes – what’s not to like?? Throw in, Marcy and Nicholas (aka Sprinkles and Nibbles), along with Aunt Polly, and you have the perfect beach or evening read!

Marcy moved in Everlasting, Maine and is a reluctant witch. She works for Anna (from Fooled Around & Spelled In Love) at the coffee shop and bakery. Then Marcy meets a firefighter in training, Nicholas. They solve the mystery of the fires while falling in love. It’s a cute and so likable. Marcy is so relatable with her relationships and who doesn’t like firefighters (YUM!). I like this book a lot. Michelle did a good job with it. If you like this book you’ll love her Order of Magic series. Light romance and plenty of paranormal, it’s all good.
