Cursed Witch: A Reverse Harem Urban Fantasy Adventure (Twin Rivers Captive #2) by September Stone is an amazing story to read. This is book number two in this amazing series that I have loved reading. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about magic, witches and paranormal romances.

The second book in the series is a continuation from the first book. It was beautifully written and the characters have grown so beautifully. We do not see as much action in this one as we did in the first book but, it was written so well that it still holds your attention with its mysteries. Bryn and the guys are dealing with a lot of drama and mystery as they try to break their curse. We learn more about the characters that allows us to connect with them even more. The story does end in a cliffhanger but the road to it was fantastic. It definitely pulls you in and doesn’t let go. This is definitely a must read.
Like the other Twin Rivers books by September Stone, I found this to be another fun, sexy read. Our group is headed off in search of the staff Elowen requires as payment to lift the curse that binds them, and in their quest, Bryn has to come to grips with the fact that she’s begun feeling a pull to Poe and Silas alongside her favorite two men. The struggle of emotions, the hesitation some of them feel at falling for a woman who isn’t solely theirs, and the ever-present threat of death that hangs above them makes for a read that you can’t put down. I like how Stone does a good job at giving depth to her characters, making it easy to see how our lead is so drawn to each of the guys. Everyone is flawed, in a way that allows them all to balance each other.
It’s an entertaining story, and I like how it links to the previous trilogy (though it’s not necessary to read the other series, they do all flow nicely together). While there isn’t a huge cliffhanger at the end, there is a larger game at play that is left unsolved, obviously leading to the next book. Definitely looking forward to what comes next.

Cursed Witch by Stephanie Stone is the second book in the Twin Rivers Captive series. This book is about a witch named Bryn and her four protectors Calder, Taj, Silas, and Poe who have been placed under a curse that will cause them to die if they do not find a cure in time. We have some adventure and suspense. Bryn and the 4 guys that are cursed with her are still looking for the Staff of Rahn. They keep following leads and coming into danger. Will they find it? Will they make it thru everything? What will happen if they don’t find the staff for Elowen? Can they ever get free? What are all these feelings Bryn have for these guys? What will happen at the end?

Not only is Bryn cursed to die at the next full moon, but so are her four Guardians. This is book two in the Twin River Captive and the plight to find the Staff ensues in an action packed read. Bryn is involved with Taj and Calder and she is considering adding Silas and Poe, the last two Guardians. Many steamy scenes. A surprise person asks for Bryn’s help at the conclusion. Good read.

An intense reverse harem romance, that’ll take you on an adventure. I’d recommend it for mature adults, due to steamy scenes.

Where the first book, pretty much centered on being being freed from captivity and getting cursed, this book feels like it the storyline “breathes” a little. The last book felt so rushed, but cramped because all that was accomplished was some backstory and the above things (in quick secession I might add). It really felt like more could have been taken away and then the story continued. I don’t know. Read it and decide.
Anyway, this story feels like the plot is taking us somewhere. There is character development, more of a story. Though there is heartbreak, I think it will lead HEA in the next book.

Bryn is on the hunt for the Staff of Rahn so the curse can be removed from all five of them. Silas, Calder, Taj and Poe. They go to all the locations they find reference to in magical books and they seek guidance from all the places they travel to, as well as sorting out their whole relationship with each other.
Bryn discovers that she is a magical focus and she needs the men to draw on their magic when she needs it, just as they need to draw on her magic to boost their magic. They have to battle for their lives with an evil mage and try to make it back to Elowen in time for her to remove the curse before they all die.
The book ends leading off for book three with a cliffhanger.

Bryn and her Guardians have to find a powerful relic in order for mage Elowen will lift the death curse. She is extremely close close to Taj and Calder due to her knowing them. She has reactions to the two others as well, she doesn’t acknowledge it. The get help from unlikely sources in town in to find the mage. The people that are tracking them find them. She gets herself out of trouble. They will need to work together to find the relics location.
They find out information that someone has an idea where it might be, they got to that person. Bryn was sent in thinking she was the save bet, but she was in danger just like the guys. One of her guardians get her away just in time.
They go this exclusive priesthood looking for the relic, they are captured in a trap. Bryn is trying to learn how to fight and not going well. One of the people in the priesthood will help her. She forms a great friendship with them.
The priesthood decided that they can lift the curse but they could not, they end up hurting Taj and Calder. Bryn will do everything she can to save them. She finds out the priesthood has been lying to them and some of their people as well.
It will take everyone to get this relic from them, there is a good chance that they will not make it. Why does Elowen need this relic for and who is really behind hiding it. They walked in something bigger than their curse.
This book was great, non stop action, great scenes with Bryn and Her guardians, the cliffhanger is awesome. Looking forward to the next book to see where goes for Bryn and the Guardians.

I love September Stone’s writing!! This is a great sequel.to the series. I love the emotions portrayed by all the characters. It made the characters feel real. It’s also intense, steamy and has action. So as you know Bryn and the guys are cursed and the only way to break the burden is retrieve a staff for very powerful mage. So on the journey they go. Bryn, Calder and Taj finally get on the same page a out how they feel and oh boy does that get steamy. However, her magic is pulling her towards Poe and hopefully Silas. Then bam all of a sudden something happens to Taj and Calder. Have you heard of focus magic, I haven’t but it sure is interesting. Then there is a bad mage that appears and it gets a bit hectic. So Do they find the staff they need to break the curse? Also learn about focus magic? Then read this book, you will not be disappointed.
