A cursed pharaoh. A determined archaeologist. Three days to find true love. The dank depths of the Egyptian ruins reveal something I’ve been searching for my entire adult life—the tomb of the mysterious pharaoh, Nebtawyre Mentuhotep IV. And somehow, the sexy king steps from his sarcophagus very much alive. Lust soon overpowers reason as I fall down the rabbit hole with Wyre. He claims me … rabbit hole with Wyre.
He claims me completely—my mind, body, and soul.
We only have three days to break a 4,000-year-old curse placed on him by his crazy ex.
If we don’t, he’ll return to his tomb and take my heart with him.

I loved this one. Wyre and Moira were perfect for one another. Wyre having been cursed by his wife a high priestess was only awakened every 24 years. By the time he meets Moira 4000 years later, he has resigned himself to that fate. I was crying by the end of their book. My tears must have been needed too! (Thank you Gwyn!) I loved the ending. They were all so shocked…
This was another solid offering from this series. Wyre is a 4000 year old mummy and Moira is an archeologist who has been searching for his tomb. The author gives us a look into ancient Egypt with a twist into the absurd. The story was funny and intriguing.
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book!
Loved this
If you’re looking for something fun, flirty and with a dash of Pharaoh, then I recommend Cursed to you. Wyre & Moira are a fantastic couple, I’d say they burnt up the sheets with their chemistry, but they didn’t always bother waiting until they found a bed!
Even though this is either a long novella or a short novel, it still packs a heck of an emotional punch. It’s pretty much a case of insta-love, and definitely insta-lust, but it works. I found myself desperately rooting for Moira and Wyre to break the curse and get their HEA.
I loved catching up with Waylon and Chastity too – though this is very much a stand alone book and you don’t need to read their story (though for sheer enjoyment you should!) This book is just great fun to read, never predictable and will leave you with a huge smile on your face. It’s very naughty too.
I think this is my favorite one so far.
We get a pharaoh that just can’t keep it in his pants. When his wife finds him screwing someone else (again) she puts a curse on him. He is only allowed to wake up every 27 years for 3 days to find his forever love. Needless to say, Wyre doesn’t take it too seriously the first couple thousand years. So when he wakes up this time, he expects it to be just like always.
Moira has been looking for the tomb of Nebtawyre Mentuhotep IV for a while now. But when she finds it she never expected him to look so alive. When Moira learns of the curse neither of them takes it as she could be the love of his life. But they do make the most of it.
I really liked this story. We also get to see the couple from the last book, although you don’t have to have read it to understand this book. 🙂
An old Egyptian curse brings Moira and Wyre together, and this smoking hot PNR read was a lively, funny and action-packed story! Never have I ever thought I’d find a sexy story involving an ancient mummy body, but there you have it. It was wildly fun to read, and I am loving this series!
I actually shed tears with this one. So emotional.
Highly recommend.
This book took off with a steam part. I would recommend this book to read. You did a awesome book . I love it I couldn’t put it down until I was completely finished
Fascinating, fast-paced romance!
Buckle up before you start this book, because it takes off at lightning speed and, hoo boy! An insta-lust scene that’ll slam you up against the wall!
Wyre is cursed by his jealous fiance and lives the next 4,000 years awake but entombed, only able to emerge for three days every twenty-four years. Moira is an Egyptologist who has always been drawn to the little-known pharaoh, and when she happens to be exploring his tomb at the same time as his next awakening, their explosive first meeting launches an unforgettable three-day journey to break the curse.
The story is very sweet yet emotionally charged, with scorching hot love scenes and poignant reminders of the passage of time. It was great to see Waylon and Chastity (from Parched) playing supporting roles in this book, giving us a bit of an update on their life together, too. Superbly written, the reader is drawn into this magical world where anything can, and does, happen. It’s completely unlike any other paranormal story I’ve ever read, and I highly recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
