I knew Helena was mine the moment I saw her. Then I watched her die. I thought I’d lost her forever so I gave in to my fallen angel nature, living in the shadows for decades. That was, until I found out my soul mate is a witch cursed to be reborn. Now I’m tasked to help her fight the forces who want to unleash Lucifer. She doesn’t know it, but we’re written in the stars. I’ll go to Hell and back … the stars.
I’ll go to Hell and back to have another chance at a life with her.
This is the second novel in The Siren Coven world. It can be read as a stand alone, but it’s recommended that Eternal Desire be read first.

The Siren Coven Series just gets better and better with each book.
Cursed Heart is book 2 in the Siren Coven Series by Kim Loraine which is based on Tamiel and Helena’s story. If you haven’t read book 1 Eternal Desire Grant and Izzy’s story I highly recommend you do for several reasons,
1. It is an AWESOME read, 2. It has valuable events and information needed, 3. Cause I said to read it .
Tamiel is a fallen angel that has taken on the responsibilities of Sariel which means when the 3 Witches Helena, Izzy and Gwen summon him he must show. Tamiel has waited for thousands of years for his soul mate to finally be his and he won’t allow anything or anyone take her from him again.
Helena can not and will not trust a man again, especially the hot, sexy angel named Tamiel. She can’t let her lust win when she is so close to dying again and needing to find Calista to save her sisters with any means necessary.
This was such a great read with so many fantastically original ideas, characters and story. I love the strong sisterhood between the 3 Witches and the strong love bond between Tamiel and Helena.
The best thing I love about this series is that with the characters having so many past lives, I love how Kim Loraine has added some history characters to the mix, Tristan and Iseult, Helen of Troy/Sparta and King Arthur and Guinevere. Thank you again Kim for writing another fantastic book.
Don’t you love a good curse?
And if you are a witch cursed to die at 27 and do it all over again.
For thousand years, some say it would be a lesson, for her… living many lives left her hollow.
Something happens and Helena and her Siren Coven sisters dive in to the end of their reincarnation.
Helena takes a fierce challenge to protect her sisters.
Tamiel, one of the fallen angels, cursed to live as a vampire, spends again, thousand years, searching for his soulmate.
One day he finds her at 27 but has no time and she dies right in front of him. He waited and waited to find her again. Damn if he isn’t going to get her this time.
But that feared and fierce Helena was up to his challenge?
Oh the Sex scenes were great until they were interrupted. I could hold a curse as well.
A good ride I might say, a great story to follow! Waiting impatiently for the audiobook!
Fallen angels for the win!
This book is an amazing continuation of the Siren Coven series. I listened to the audiobook version of this book and the narrators were fantastic. Jacob Morgan narrating with an accent was everything I didn’t know I wanted or needed. He’s been one of my favorite narrators, but this audiobook moved him to the top of my favorites list. Kylie Stewart also does a fantastic job of narrating this book. They perform this book in a duet narration and it adds so much more to the book than the other styles of audiobook narrations. Cursed Heart picks up soon after the end of Eternal Desire (Book 1). The books in this series are connected and it is necessary to read the first book in order to fully enjoy the book/series. In my opinion, it is also necessary to read The Watcher Series in order to fully understand the entire storyline and also because some of the characters from that trilogy are mentioned and/or make appearances in this book. Cursed Heart focuses on the love story of Helena (a witch that the Helen of Troy story is based on) and Tamiel (a vampire and fallen angel). This book is action packed and there’s never a dull moment. Not to mention, it’s an extremely steamy, sexy read. Cursed Heart is written in 1st person POV of Helena and Tamiel and does end with a HEA, even thought the overall storyline will be continued in Wicked Temptation and Immortal Flame. I’m a fan of Kim Loraine’s paranormal and supernatural romance books and I highly recommend this book/series (and the Watcher Series) to anyone who is a fan of that genre. I also recommend that you check out the audiobook, even if you don’t think you’re a fan of audiobooks (I think Jacob Morgan can change your mind).
I have to say this story elevated the heat elevation by decimals from book one. Helena and her fallen angel Tamiel are off the charts steamy. The storyline is getting more interesting, challenging, and mysterious. In addition to all this in the epilogue Helena and Tamiel get exciting news, they are visited by Gabriel and Gwen is in for the challenge of her many lives. Can’t wait for the next release in the Sirens Coven.
I must add Kylie Stewart and Jacob Morgan in this duet performance, fabulous.
I reviewed this audible book for a Audiobook boom
Cursed Heart
The Siren Coven, Book 2
By: Kim Loraine
Narrated by: Kylie Stewart, Jacob Morgan
I am not a paranormal listener, but when it comes to the writing of Kim Loraine, I make the exception. This spin off series of the Fallen Angel Trilogy has me captivated. Tamiel knows Helena is his soulmate. But when Helena is convinced she cannot love, their story takes a turn. I love this story. Tamiel is nothing short of perfection, his devotion to his soulmate unwavering. Helena is guarded as she knows her fate. But together, this couple will endure the impossible. It’s suspenseful, captivating, and oh so sexy. The best is getting to see the crossover characters, Michael, Gabriel, the mention of Sariel and Devin as well as the integration of Helena’s sisters. The story has so much complexity, but is flows so easily. And the twist at the end, setting us up for book three just makes me crave more.
The duet narration by Jacob Morgan and Kylie Stewart fit perfectly with these characters. The compliment each other and have similar paces. These two nail the accent, put you in the scene and bring the entire story to life. I loved their flawless performance.

I love this series and Kim Loraine does paranormal wonderfully! Cursed Heart includes all three sisters from Eternal Desire but the focus is on Helena this time. With Izzy’s curse broken, Helena is determined to free Gwen from the curse before she dies. Tamiel thought he had lost his soul mate forever until he found out she was one of the three witches cursed to die and be reborn for eternity. With Helena in his sight, Tamiel will do anything to keep her with him, including following her into Purgatory just to be with her! One of my favorite parts of this series is that each sister has their own tragic place in history, for Izzy it was the story of Tristan and Isolde, for Helena she is the face that launched a thousand ships. Helena was probably my least favorite of the sisters but Tamiel redeemed her in my eyes, they both sacrificed so much to save the other person! I can’t wait until Gwen’s story!
This book right here has it all. Love, angst, sisterhood, Loyalty, betrayal and a whole lotta hotttt. I love this book Helena is my favorite sister (so far) she has fire, sass, and everything I love in a heroine. Tamiel oh he is to die for … I mean swoon city !! Thanks Kim for a book that I devoured in no time
Kim Loraine is such an amazing writer!! This book is amazing just like all her other PNR books I have read.
I love seeing all these characters and how their stories play out. The writing is just superb, the imagination that Kim has and how she perfectly weaves these stories amazes me!!
Cursed Heart is book two of The Siren Coven series and Helena and Tamiel’s story. Helena, along with her two sister witches are trying to put an end to a curse that was cast upon them to die at the age of 27, be reborn, repeat life and death all over again. Tamiel is a fallen angel who is cursed to live as a vampire. He found his soulmate Helena but she died in his arms at the age of 27. This book takes you on a journey full of action, angst, magic, curses, romance and a beautiful love story. Loved Cursed Heart and I can’t wait to read Gwen’s book next.
I am not a “normal” reader of paranormal romances… they just aren’t for me. That being said, this was a paranormal romance and I enjoyed it (surprised myself). It’s the story of Tamiel (the “fallen” angel) and Helena (the witch). Helena needs help to survive a curse that will end her life and kidnaps Tamiel to get him to help her. There is travel to other worlds and demons and spells but the underlying theme of the story is the “unspoken” love between Tamiel and Helena. Both of their histories are not preventing them from admitting their true feelings but if they are both going to survive, they need to admit their feelings and form a true team to battle their enemies.
This is the second book of The Siren Coven series – I did not read the first one and at times, that may have helped me understand some of the backstory but it’s still okay. Love is love and it’s a nice love story and you get drawn into the characters plight and want nothing more than for them to find their happily ever after.
I loved this book. It was so easy to read, literally could not stop turning the pages. Kim has a way of making you see the characters side of the story ( I hated both of these characters in the fallen angel trilogy) but I loved them in this book and I HAD to know if they got their HEA. All I have to wait for now is the third instalment of the book and the audiobooks ( Will Watt) to be released & everything will be right with the world
CURSED HEART is a magical blend of supernatural strength, power, wildly hot desires and thrilling escapades. Throwing you’re off-kilter, sending you into a tailspin of the unknown, the dark depths of hell, and back! OMFG!!!!
Which stole my everloving breath away, Sending me on an Epic ride of a lifetime!!
Only to cast me under its spell! Like a dark lovesick fool!
Kim Loraine has done it again….given us a well written, intriguing paranormal story that couldn’t be put down once started. If you ever questioned wanting to read a paranormal story then start with this author. She weaves a wonderful story with characters that you fall in love with and provides the most enthralling storylines that keep you read reading until the very end. And there are always a little historical element that make you think about the rest of the story.
Cursed Heart is Helena and Tamiel’s story and their struggle to stay together. I loved every bit of this book and can’t wait for the next one! Well done.
Helena was the witch I never thought I’d like. And Tamiel the bloody Angel who I didn’t know if I trusted. Well both proven better than expected. This story is a Great adventure, wonderful characters, and world building with the perfect story speed makes this book an easy 5 stars.
The saying ‘the harder the shell the softer the inside’ is the perfect explanation for this witch. She will give up anything for her sisters, even her own love and power. While Tamiel went above and beyond Hells gate, in risk of the gift god just given back, all to save a soul. And I swoon. God this man is a sexy angel.
I rarely read paranormal romances these days. Somehow, they became too predictable to me. I love paranormal worlds where nothing can be predicted, because you just don’t know which facets of mythology will be included and which aspects might even be totally made up or taken from another legend, fable, fairytale or even religion… And with Kim Loraine, I never know what I will get. And I absolutely looove that! Whenever she has a new paranormal romance releasing, I will be there, jumping up and down, hands clapping, like a child on Christmas day.
And CURSED HEART, the second book in her siren coven series, did not only meet those high expectations, but exceeded them. Sigh. And this is saying something, because going in and knowing her from the previous books, I was really uncertain if I would like or connect with Helena at all. She was too cold, too closed-off, not really caring about anything or anybody else besides her two sisters. And even though I knew she would die for them in an instant if that saved them, I was wary, cautious, but slowly that cold witch found her way into my heart… The witch who cannot love, who has been cursing her lovers for ages and has been cursed herself even longer. I loved discovering her secrets and the myths surrounding her!
And then Tamiel, the angel I found questionable and didn’t know if I could trust, who was unflinching in his beliefs of Helena being his long lost true soulmate. Now that he has found her again, he is not letting her go – and when she needs him, he is there. If she just would believe him that she for once do not put another unsuspecting male under her spell, that the strong pull they feel toward one another is not witch-made but honest – real…
And it’s not only a war of hearts and bodies that is fought in this instalment. There is so much happening, so many revelations, so much action and suspense and wow-moments, and all that with the signature passionate chemistry between two characters that has my toes curling whenever I start a paranormal read by Ms. Loraine.
Her paranormal love stories are everything you could want from such a story. They are unique, innovative and totally, utterly addicting. Now I’ll not only be anxiously waiting for Immortal Flame, but also for this one being released on audio book to experience it all over again – with the amazing Will Watt giving voice to Tamiel. Yum!
If I ever thought Kim’s last book couldn’t get any better, we’ll I’ve learned my lesson now. This amazing series just keeps getting better and better. I’ve been so in love with these witches right from the start. Now Kim adds a historical twist, and things are getting even more interesting. Izzy and Grant’s story had me hooked and kept me glued until I devoured Eternal Desire. Cursed Heart was no different with Helena and Tamiel. This book had it all! An enemies to lovers start with so much intrigue and steamy scenes, you will not want to put this one down.
Both of these characters were perfection! Tamiel was hella sexy in every way and a total swoonfest. Helena was a total kickass who pulled at my heartstrings with everything she has gone through.
This is book #2 of the Siren Coven series. Amazingly written in dual POV with its own HEA. I have loved Kim’s writing style in any genre and the way I get sucked in to the character’s world. Cursed Heart is a must read that will have you wishing you could wind up some magic of your own and find yourself your own Tamiel. I can not wait for Gwen’s story and what happens with her knight in shinning armor.
