The collaboration between these two authors blew me away!! To come up with such a unique and intriguing storyline I have to hand it to these two. It had me captivated from the beginning with all of the suspense. Just when you think you have it all figured out these to throw in twist and turns and you realize you have not one thing figured out. The bond between Archer and Samara is tested, torn and broken. Their love frail and brittle. Will it survive the brutality and betrayals they’ve had to endure? I highly recommend this book!!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

I really loved this book. I was in the mood for a dark and dirty book and Dark Angel’s doesn’t disappoint. This book is written by Dani Rene’ and Anna Edward’s. It is so well written that your not going to be able to tell which author wrote what chapter or part. This is the story of Samara and Archer and it will keep you one the edge of your seat reading. It is intense and certainly not a hearts and flowers kind of read. I could not put it down and I know if you love dark books then you are going to want to make sure you read this one.
This book takes you through it all! Such an intense and emotional read. The characters have been through the worst and they’re not done yet. However they’re both strong and not giving up. This story keeps you gripped from beginning to end. I cannot wait to see what’s next.
These authors took me by surprise. I knew with two talented authors I couldn’t go wrong in reading this collaboration. Even then, it was still so much more than I was expecting. It’s about a chance at revenge and a second chance with true love. Cursed Angels was an absolute page turner! I loved Archer and Samara.
These two authors were absolutely phenomenal together. This books is very well written with great flow, amazing characters and a mind-blowing, dark and twisted storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Highly recommend!!

I honestly had no idea what i was getting into reading this story. I am a huge Dani Rene fan but have not yet had the pleasure of reading anything from Anna Edwards. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised with this pairing. Their voices are so in sync that you can’t tell who is writing what. This story pulled me in rather quickly. I am a lover of all things dark and twisted and this story holds that and more. Samara and Archer definitely kept my attention and their story is one to cherish. Hoping to see more from these two authors together!!
These dynamic duos of authors’ have written a brilliant masterpiece together, which is dark and twisted and had me on tenterhooks throughout. This is a well written flawless story which is raw, gritty, intense, intriguing, and has lies, secrets, deceit, revenge, which leads to a steamy, powerful story about unfrequented love and second chances. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and look forward to reading more from these authors.
I went into this book with no expectations and I’m so glad I did because I could never have picked what this story would turn into.
I was hooked from beginning to end. Co-write’s can be hit or miss but this one was a big hit. The writing was seamless and you can’t help but become invested in the lives of the amazing main characters.
Samara was a brilliant leading lady. She had no choice but to become the warrior woman she was. Life had dealt her a devastating hand making her youth hell on earth. She suffered at the hands of people who were meant to care for her. She managed to find one saving grace that made life in hell more bearable, Archer King. The first and only boy she would ever love.
Archer King had only one goal, save the woman he loves, even if it meant leaving her. Delivering himself into the hands of his tormentors he thought he was doing just that. How wrong he was. Dedicating his life to those who controlled him, forgetting his past he soon gets the shock of his life when he walks into a room to find the love of his life is the killer he’s been hunting.
Hunter was the man who took Samara under his wing when he found her on the street as a teenager. Over the years so was not only under his wing but under his skin and him. She became the woman he loved but knew she would never love him like she loved another.
This story is definitely not for those looking for a fluffy romance. It takes you to dark places you could never imagine. But these are the places I love.
These great authors had me pulling my hair out over which Alpha male deserved the heart and soul of Samara, an Alpha female no-one with half a brain would mess with. I devoured this twisted story full of Alphas, secrets, some sick individuals and steam that was off the charts. Great job ladies and I look forward to your future projects.
This is one hell of a story! Very intense and keeps you on your toes. Riveting!
Samara is on a mission to seek revenge on those who hurt her. In her teenage years she was taken to a place called “The Factory” where she met Archer and they formed a bond. Bad things happened to them. Samara escaped and didn’t know what happened to Archer. She loved him. She was taken in after her escape and a man called Hunter trained her to be a killer and be able to take her revenge. Meanwhile Archer was also a killer working on training more killers. He felt something was not right. Samara started going after her tormentors. She is surprised to find Archer again but something is different about him. He doesn’t remember her. But then again he has moments where it comes back to him… Secrets are finally brought to light and it’s time to bring “The Factory” down. Such an intense story line. Dani and Anna did justice to the story.
Wow just wow, what did I just read? This book was an incredible journey into a dark dark world and what a tale was told. So little I can really say as I feel as a reader you need to go in blindly but this book will not disappoint. The characters were developed so well and the past information was provided in just the correct increments.
This book is dark, gritty, intense, full of suspense and so much more.
WOW! What an incredibly nerve-racking journey!
As the storyline was unfolding it felt like one emotional blow after another. The storyline built up to such a high point that the end seemed almost anti-climatic after everything that our cast had to overcome to get there. I see this as possibly a first in series. There were just too many things that IMO felt undone too many possibilities the authors alluded to that we never saw come to fruition.
Samara had my attention right from the start with that little morning banter scene. Her character is physically and emotionally strong but she still has her soft side. She is seeking to avenge those she has lost as well as put a stop to the horrors that are being committed under the guise of salvage. I was a bit upset with Samara on a couple of occasions. I felt she should have made her choices a bit more concrete. Can’t say more as it gives some of the plots away.
Hunter can bring me donuts anytime, though I am an old fashioned glazed kind of girl, just a bit of a heads up there. I liked Hunter. His character was solid not only physically but on an emotional level as well. I know it was hard for him and Samara did not make things any easier.
Archer .. I think I liked all his sides.
This was an easy read. Easy to follow with a well-scripted cast.
I did feel that certain scenes were a bit rushed others were just outlines of what they could have been.
But that is me… and as you know I can be a bit greedy when it comes to the little details.
This is a very intense and entertaining read. A complex tale of suspense, danger, excitement, thrills, raw emotions, action, and tension. The storyline unfolds like a complicated dance. You may think you know where the steps are leading you but one single twist can send you spinning in a unexpected and new direction. The characters are well developed, layered and likable. I found it easy to get pulled into their world, to become ensnared in their lives and be fully invested in the outcome of the story. This is my freely posted, frank review.
