Excerpt:
Cupid sat on a cloud looking down on Valentina Hart. He had been watching her for a few years now. He was in love from the first time he laid eyes on her sitting on a park bench. Her long red hair sweeping across her face as the warm summer breeze blew. He knew then she was meant for him. The only problem was that, he was a God and she was a human. The two of them could never be … never be together.
This wasn’t a law amongst the Gods, it was Cupid’s choice and the number one rule in his book. It was a rule that could never be broken. Humans were frail, mortal, and being in love with one caused too many problematic situations. Sure he could just shoot her with a golden arrow and she would love him. But after his last disastrous mistake for which he never forgave himself, he thought he deserved to be alone for the rest of eternity.
What happens when the God of Love has lost the will to create romance? Can Valentina give Cupid what he needs to mend his broken heart?
Warning: Explicit and graphic sex. For adults only 18+

Cupid’s Heart by Nicole Garcia is the 1st in a series. I really enjoyed these characters and this world of the gods. Looking forward to more.
This is a fun Greek god story. I loved all the humor that was worked in. Hahaha that Hercules! I listened to this on audio and it didn’t take long to get through it. It did put me in a light and happy mood. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were the narrators. They do such a good job! They almost seem like they are having fun reading this. They put nice emotion into the story that helps make it more believable.
Cupid the God of Love has fallen head over heels in love with Valentina. But he won’t reveal that to her for many reasons One something horrible happened over 25 years ago and he has no plans of ever going through that again.
Somnus the god of sleep is one of his closest and dearest friends up in Olympus. Somnus is determined to see to it that his friend Cupid finds and has the love he so desires.
Many things unfold and Cupid finds himself holding Valentina’s hand and from that moment on he knows he lost.
Can anything change Cupids mind about him telling Valentina who he is and how he truly feels?
Will Valentina return his feelings?
And what about the issue of him being a God and her a mere Human?
Well grab your copy and read this fantastic, romantic, somewhat funny and exciting book !!!
(Review based on audio version)
This is a fun, cute romance with a different take on Olympus. The characters are lovable and the content steamy. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross do a wonderful job of telling the story. Overall, a five star recommendation
If you enjoy Roman Mythology and a hot, sexy romance, give this short book a listen. We all know that Cupid is the one responsible for true love, armed with his golden arrows of love. However, can he find true love for himself?
Cupid feels responsible for a young woman’s suicide after shooting her with one of his arrows. After 25 years, he is still haunted by his mistake. However, he has started watching a young woman named Valentina and soon sparks start to fly. His longtime friends Somulus and Hercules add a lot to the fun of this story, with their off-color comments and attempts to show Cupid that he needs to lighten up.
This was a fun read, quick and easy to finish. I especially enjoyed the dual narrations with the male and female voices. Too often, I find myself cringing at a narrator’s attempt to sound like the opposite sex. Kai and Wen do an amazing job and really add to the listener’s enjoyment.
One warning: DO NOT listen to this book in a public place or where innocent (or easily offended) ears can listen. There are some truly steamy sex scenes that will quickly embarrass you if you do!
OMG! CupidValentina! Great Story & Audible Listen
Cupid’s Heart
A Roman God Romance, Book 1
By: Nicole Garcia
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross
This book is awesome, it is well written and engrossed me from start to end. Nicole Garcia created a wonderful and imaginative story with interesting storylines and characters. The lead character is Cupid, the mythical God of Love, who is in love with a human named Valentina. He watches her from Mount Olympus, the place where the Gods live and observe humans. Because of an incident in his past he refuses to act on his love. Wth a little help from his fellow Gods, Hercules and Somnus, Cupid is pushed to act on his love. Divine intervention at its best. Nicole Garcia fit a lot of story into this novella, there is drama, twists, action, romance and hot gods. I love how she incorporated mythology in to there story and had a mythical God as a main character, also love the story she is creating for him. The banter between the gods was hysterical at times, what might characters they are. Thank you for the great and entertaining story. I am looking forward to Somnus’ Love next.
I listened to the Audible edition, narrated by the talented Kai Kennicott and Wenn Ross. They are amazing storytellers and voice performers. They bring the characters to life, give them heart and emotion and add the right amount of dramatic flair to enhance an already great story another level. Thanks for another great & entertaining listen
This book was such a wonderful read, it was filled with love of course and laughter along with a few twists and oh no’s. It had it all. Who would of thought the God’s had so much pressure on themselves and their powers. I loved everything about Val and when Cupid finally had the opportunity to speak with her.. oh how sweet it is. The story took such a turn that I was not expecting but happy with the results in the end. I would love to read more about these men, such a great read. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
This is a short story about the God of Love-Cupid who refuses to fall in love because of a tragedy that happened 25 years ago in which he blames himself. His two God friends, Somnus and Hercules try to help him but he refuses their help. There is a mate out there for him, but will he relent and forgive himself so he can find her? You’ll have to read the story and find out the outcome. The story pulls you in from the beginning to the end and I really loved it and it has some nice twists. I’m so looking forward to a story about the other two Gods also. Nicole has done a fantastic job on this book.
