Sarah Fischer and Kelsey McKnight’s Cupid Claus is a fun, sweet Christmas romance. I couldn’t pass up a holiday romance with Mrs. Claus playing matchmaker for her son, Nick. Heather and Nick are a great match and make for a fun read.
Fischer and McKnight are a writing duo I’m looking forward to reading again and again.
Cupid Claus by Sarah Fischer and Kelsey McKnight is an enlightening holiday romance that makes me smile.
Will Carol get away with trying to matchmake for her son?
Carol Kringle
Carol Kringle is our Cupid Claus and the reason why we have this book. She is a bit nosy when it comes to her only child having a love life and not just focusing on work. He is a Claus, though, and that is hard. Carol grows from being this nosy mom that wants what is best for her son to realize that maybe she shouldn’t be butting in. She is a marvelous character who wants her son to be happy and have a support system built in like when his dad took over being Santa. Carol would also like some grandkids.
Nicholas Kringle
Nicholas, Nick, wants to be a great Santa and without having to take someone away from their lives to be his wife. He is a great guy for thinking that and is a romantic at heart. Nick loves spreading joy and cheer when he can before Christmas. He is open to the possibility of changing his mind, but he doesn’t want his mom to push him.
Heather Arnett
Heather Arnett is another fantastic character in this line up of characters. She wants to skip over Christmas entirely. Too many memories are wrapped up in this holiday that makes her sad. She puts on a brave face and goes through the motions of everyday living. Until Nick shows up and tosses her plans out the window when they meet at a homeless shelter. Heather ends up changing throughout as Carol does, and I love seeing that.
Five Stars
Cupid Claus by Sarah Fischer and Kelsey McKnight is about a nosy mother who wants what is best for her son. It is the perfect holiday romance that has a bit of fantasy in it and being close to the ones that someone will consider family. I am giving this book five stars and recommending it to anyone that loves reading holiday romance books.

This is a great romance story! It brings the Christmas spirit and romance. This is a well developed story that kept I had a hard time putting down. The characters are connectable and made the story engaging. I didnt regret picking this book up and neither will you. A great book to warm your night. I highly recommend this book.
All mothers like to play Cupid. Even if your mother is Mrs. Claus.
Mrs. Claus is a tad unhappy with her son. She is happy he wants to take over the family business except for the fact that is willing to look for love. So she decides to get some advice from Cupid and get things rolling along the path she wants.
But Nick has met Heather. Heather is an artist who is facing a Christmas alone. for the first time. And Nick is helping out in her town and meets Heather. And jingle bells do really jingle. Can these two admit that they actually are meant to be together? Can Nick forgive his mother and her meddling? Can Nick share the family secret with Heather and make a life together? Well since this is a HEA, we know the answer is yes. But the real magic is the trip they take along the way to admitting they do love each other.
I did receive a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.
I love this story about Santa’s family. I have, since a child, wondered about Santa, Mrs Claus, the elves…were there children? Did elves marry? Have families? What did the North Pole really look like? Did Santa know the Easter Bunny, the tooth fairy, St Valentine? Were the shoemaker’s elves kin to Santa’s elves? I thought about it all, dreaming about it. Am I still curious? Yes. I’m not even going to try lying. I clap for fairies and believe in Santa.
This book was perfect for me. When Mrs Claus, Carol, called on her friends..you have no idea how delighted I was! Reading about the North Pole and how Nicolas was changing it with technology fascinated me. Yes, it also saddened me. I like the elves working. But the best was in reading about Nick, Heather and Carol. I’m not going into that because it would take away the reason to read. Make no mistake, I want you to read it. I want you to feel the wonder, delight, anxiety and worry. I want you to crave chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate made special. Stop reading the review and go read the book.
I received an ecopy of this book from BookSprout for review consideration. All thoughts are based on my feelings while reading the book.
This book was delightfully adorable and so perfect for the holiday season. Magical and uplifting, and will no doubt put you in the Christmas mood.
Heather and Nick…..
Nick is the only son of Santa Claus and due to take over the family business sometime in the near future. Nick is all work and no play which is exactly how he wants it. He is very serious about being the best Santa he could be so there is no time for relationships. Unfortunately, Mrs. Claus does not agree. According to her, Nick should be married with children by now. And so she, as well as her dear friend Cupid, interferes a bit. When Nick finds out about his mother’s meddling, things take a serious turn. Will Nick find his happily-ever-after? Can he trust his own feelings for Heather weren’t influenced?
Even without Mrs. Claus meddling, I felt a strong natural connection between Nick and Heather. I enjoyed the slow burn romance that developed between the two and how they both were complex characters that needed something or someone special in their lives.
As usual, I won’t go into details but I will tell you if you choose to read this delightful, fun, and wityy romance, you won’t be disappointed.
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂

A great storyline and characters with hot chemistry. This sweet holiday romance was fun to read and Carol is your typical mother interfering with Nick’s love life.

Beautiful love story.
I loved this book it’s such a sweet story with wonderful characters. Once I started reading this I was hooked, the connection between Nick & Heather was great & even though his mum Mrs Claus tried to set him up with 3 different girls as she wanted him to settle down. Nick & Heather had already met by themselves & love blossomed proving they were truly meant to be together.

Nick is 25 and his father, Santa Claus, is getting towards his retirement. Nick goes to a small town every year to deliver cheer and help where help is needed for a little bit before Christmas Eve each year. This year when he arrives in Laurel with his mother in tow, he falls head over heels for Heather. But he knows if it is not true love, then when he tells her who he really is she will not remember anything about him at all. There is fun, magic and a nosy mother in the mix. But when all is said and done it makes for a great love story at Christmas.

Such a cute story. I loved every bit of it. Mrs. Claus is out to find her son a wife so her and Mr. Claus can retire. After everything she does, it back fires on her. She almost loses her sons faith in her because of all her meddling. Nick meets Heather and he is hoping she is the one, but he is having second thoughts after he finds out what his mother is up to.

This is a fun holiday romance. Heather and Nick meet at the shelter and are instantly attracted to each other. Heather is not in the Christmas mood after losing her mom. When Mrs. Claus and her friends play matchmaker to her son Nick and Heather that’s when the fun begins. I enjoyed this sweet romance. Love for Santa’s Son?
All right, I’ll admit that I have a bit of a thing for Christmas romance novels in general (contemporary, historical, fantasy, etc.), but in particular, I enjoy ones that are loosely based on Santa and his family. This is one of those books. The story centers around Nick, the only son of Santa and his wife. His mother desperately wants him to marry because she is ready for grandchildren! Nick is a bit of a loner. Though he has spent time in the real world of humans, he has yet to find a young woman he wants to marry. For one thing, he feels as though it isn’t entirely fair for a woman to have to give up everything and move to the North Pole. He does it take an annual trip to the human world south of the North Pole, picking a small town on which to bestow more significant gifts, like helping those in need, to help invigorate the Christmas spirit in towns in need of such. The heroine is struggling with Christmas this year because of her mother’s passing; she is alone this holiday season.
I absolutely loved Mrs. Claus and her gal pals Valentina and Eva, Cupid and Mother Nature respectively. To read about their plotting for poor Nick’s love life was quite humorous. The book does an excellent job of showing what is going on through conversations between the various characters, making the story feel more immediate and helping the reader get immersed in the story. I found this to be a charming, sweet holiday read. If you enjoy Christmas romances that feature Santa and his family as I do, you will most likely enjoy this book.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
