Annie Graceland’s a baker with a pinch of psychic ability—she can see and talk to ghosts. Much to her dismay, they also talk back—nagging her incessantly to solve their murders. Annie’s mom signs her up to be a judge at Wisconsin’s Hot Guys’ Contest. When the hometown Hot Guy is killed and doesn’t pass to the Afterlife, he begs her to investigate his murder. Now she’s meddling with a motley crew … motley crew of murder suspects. It doesn’t help that Detective Jamie Ryan, a boy from Annie’s past, is all grown up, sexy as sin, and determined to make her fall for him.
Annie’s about to discover that going back home can be sweet as frosting or worse than a cake wreck. The temperature’s rising at the Hot Guys’ Contest…

Made me read the whole series! Loved it!
Fun , delightful, read !!!
Enjoyed the series!
This was a nice, light read. I liked that it was a little less predictable than most cozy mysteries.
Loved the recipes throughout the book.
Fun frolic into the world of murder and mystery.
Couldn’t get beyond the pornography in the first few pages.
It is an easy to read book that can be put down and picked up again at any time.
There are recipes at the end of some chapters. They seem way to complicated to make. It was an okay book and it was free.
Annie is an entertaining character. She gets herself into trouble, sure, which can be annoying, but she does it while trying to help others, which I like.
Very enjoyable!
fun read
Not much. Not well written. Lots of typos. ie in one recipe you were to cook the item in a skittle instead of a skillet. One recipe said stir in nuts but no nuts were listed in the ingredient list. There were mistakes in the regular text of the story too. Did anyone edit this book?
Quick light read, fun.
a good beach book for a young woman
Premise was fun but writing was poor. Jumps in story and logic. Made assumptions that reader knew the characters from previous books.
It kept me reading so I could finally see who did it.
A good casual read. Would read other books written by same author.
A purchase for my wife who enjoys reading but doesn’t stay with it everyday. This is the only time I have ever seen her completely involved in a book. Laughing out loud, reading short passages to me, fully engaged in the story and characters!!
very enjoyable
Cute and predictable.
Didn’t finish reading. Crude, in an attempt to be funny.
