Cute
Out there, quite different, but could be so true!
I think I was expecting a different kind of story than this book tells. There is nothing wrong with the book. It just wasn’t what I expected. About a third of the book (it seemed like to me) was recipes. That would have been fine, if they were at the end of the book instead of directly in the story. There were so many different “entities” telling their part of the story, sometimes I would have to go back to find out who was “talking”. Sorry I didn’t like it more.
I am not particularly fond of ghosts, especially when they continue book to book and are not entwined in the story line. There was no great story line, no excitement. I fell asleep three times while reading it.
I ended up reading quite a few books by this author and enjoyed them all.
Talking cats and dogs, ghosts and a not very smart policman boyfriend
Cute premise of telling the story from the animal’s perspectives as well as the humans. Rather predictable though.
A fun summer read. I liked the recipes that related to the chapters. Made reading fun.
Entertaining story but not exceptional.
Read this book on one sitting. Laughed outloud. Could not put it down. Loved it
I’ve officially found another favorite author. This is my first Annie Graceland story but I have just now ordered the rest of the series on my Kindle. I LOVE a good paranormal cozy and if it has the humor like this one, it catapults to favorite genre for me. I love the characters, the storyline, the humor and would not be able to cut Annie Graceland out of my life if I tried. This series is a winner.
I wanted to like it, but it was just too absurd. The characters too stock, the animals … I like talkative animals, but they are not human, and shouldn’t act like it. They need to be themselves. The ghosts, too, weren’t enjoyable or intriguing
Anyways, I quit after a couple chapters.
I wanted to love this book. Entertaining and good writing, but I just couldn’t get into switching to the cat and dog perspectives. It just ruined the story for me; too distracting and interrupted the flow. If that doesn’t bother you, you might enjoy it.
The Annie Graceland books always guarantee a fun read.
Cute and entertaining
Fun reading when you need something light.
Light reading after finishing four psychological thrillers in a row.
Always a pleasure to read this author.
Easy read
Okay if you believe in ghosts.
