Luna is Natalie’s little sister that we met in the first book. Now sober and at Nat’s wedding, Luna can’t seem to keep her eyes off the liquor or Rian. Now that Nat gave him her blessing, Rian will help her heal because that is what he wants for himself as well. This was another love story that has you by the heart from the first chapters.
Luna has a dark past which has added to the walls surrounding her heart and her very soul. She has faced her demons and learned from her mistakes, but the white noise of addition lingers on the fringe of temptation. She would love to have that noise silenced or replaced with something to give her peace. This reality seems so far out of reach until her sister Natalie introduces her to Rian.
Rian was told that Nat’s sister was off limits! He was only allowed to vet her for her own safety until she is introduced to him at Jordan and Natalie’s wedding and asked to help her find a distraction to stop her cravings.
The Bonds of Worship are clearly defined in this book! Luna and Rian are one hell of a couple with more chemistry than the college chem lab. Loved their sassy banter and the way Rian take delivers just what Luna needs, his unfettered love.
OMG I did not want this book or this series to end! I swear the only words that are on my mind to describe this is book is quite a few curse and holy hotness! Damn this book was so freaking good. I love how each book got a little more rougher! Wow Rian and Luna blew me away! I loved their connection and the pain/pleasure they both loved. I thought for sure Rian was going to end up with Garrets sister but I’m so glad it was Luna instead. This book is a must read. I feel like all the good words still wouldn’t be enough to describe this book! I will definitely have a hangover from this book for sure!
Hurts so good to heal
Cuff Me, Sir (Bonds of Worship 3) by Lynn Burke is a very well written M/s romance that is all about the characters. The needs and wants are closely tied together, however the need outweighs the wants and the heart over rules the head.
The plot of this book revolves around understanding, healing and acceptance. As this is revolution is occurring, there is plenty of steamy BDSM elements, sadism to be exact, to melt your kindle.
Overall, an emotionally charged book with characters that will make you sweat and melt your heart all at the same time. Rian and Luna work hard for their HEA and find it through vulnerable bravery.
Luna needs a distraction at her sister’s wedding and she finds it in Rian. The action starts right away as they find that their kinds match. But each has a lot of baggage they carry and many insecurities. Are they willing to put them aside to possibly find happiness.
First off, I love that the heroine in this story has many issues because everything can’t be nice and sweet, we have to persevere from our past and move forward. I feel that is what Luna needed and Rian was the only who could help her. I love their chemistry when they came together, it was so hot. I love their banter because she gave as good as she got, she was no doorknob. I totally felt for her and for Rian too. Two people trying to overcome so many things. I love the epilogue, I so enjoy when authors do that, giving us a glimpse into the future.
While I have to say this was amazingly hot…..the emotions are what kept me reading. I’ve been getting nagged to read the first two and now I really need to! This was amazing!
Luna and Rian were quite the pair……him with his insecurities over his age, her with her past she doesn’t want him to know about. Too bad for her he’s a police officer, something Luna is crushed to find out.
Will two mismatched people with baggage, lies and a past they’re both damaged from be able to have a real relationship or is it just a weekend fling?
Loved the dynamic between these two and now I’m really gonna have to go read the rest…..now to tell my friend she was right.
Luna is struggling. Her sister is moving on with a new family and is no longer focused on her sister. Rian is struggling and he doesn’t realize it. Will providing Luna with a distraction save Rian as well?
I really enjoyed this story by Lynn Burke. Luna is young and full of guilt. Rian is older but looking for permanence. When Luna’s sister asks for his help will it be enough. I enjoyed seeing a whole new world open for Luna. She thought she was vanilla until Rian rocked her world. But I love that her world wasn’t the only one that was rocked. Rian never realized how close he was to the edge until Luna. Luna satisfied his needs in ways previous subs could not. I enjoyed seeing Luna fly and Rian fall…in love. Could a misunderstanding derail their budding romance?
This is a well written story by Ms. Burke. It is a quick read but emotionally fulfilling for us and them. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to this series and look forward to more in the future.
Luna has had a very rough past and as a result, refuses to be involved in anyway with someone who is in law enforcement. Rian has been looking for someone for a long time and when he finds out about Luna’s past, he keeps his job secret from her. She needs the pain involved to help her get through hard times and Rian is just the man to do that for her. When it finally comes out just what Rian’s job is, Luna runs!! Oh the emotions and feelings ………..you can feel it all. You can also feel the helplessness of Rian and how he feels. At times I wanted to just shake Luna and make her listen to Rian. LOL Will she ever give him the chance to make things right? Or will hard feelings and not being able to get over her past stop her from finding happiness? Out of the three stories, this has to be my favorite. Love isn’t always easy to come by but when it does, you should grab on with both hands.
