This is the second time I’ve read this book (and series) and it is better than I remember. Anne McCaffrey is an extremely gifted storyteller. She hits all the beats. I can’t recommend this book and its sisters in the trilogy enough. Happy reading.
unusual and good plot for a SciFi. Unexpectedd. will read next in series!
I love McCaffrey’s writing. I just reread the Crystal Singer trilogy. I have started on the “Talents” series (“To Ride Pegasus”, etc.). I may revisit the Dragon books.
This review is for all three books in the series: Crystal Singer, Killashandra & Crystal Line.
I’ve been an Anne McCaffrey fan for generations, and while I read the Crystal Singer series as they first came out, enough time has passed that it was like reading them for the first time all over again!
The worlds and characters McCaffrey creates …
I still remember it to this day.
Strong female lead character, very interesting premise, with an excellent plot line.
It’s been awhile, but I really enjoyed this series, as well as everything else I read by Anne McCaffrey. I’d like to read her books again, when I have the chance.
I read this years ago when it first came out. I am a big Anne McCaffery fan and have been for many years. I have never read anything by her I didn’t love.
I read this many years ago when it first came out. Enjoyed it them and enjoyed rereading the series.
this is the start of the crystal singer series. As always, Anne McCaffrey comes through with fiction that is intriguing and engaging.
I was a teenager when I read it. Enjoyed it

Imaginative. Love books about a possible future and future worlds. This series is a classic
Classic . Great story. Innovative characters and storyline. Loved it.
I love, love, love anything written by Anne McCaffery, and her son Todd.
Start of one of the authors great story lines, loved it!
Broken rhythm and thoughts. This book would be great if it wasn’t abridged.
Writing is better than the plot. Another decent adolescent girl sci fi.
Fascinating fantasy. McCaffrey’s works are always excellent.
