Gritty star-crossed lovers? You have no idea . . . ANGELI thought I knew bad times. The worst times. My dad murdered, the MC that’s rightfully mine ripped apart by corrupt rule. I didn’t know anything about true horror until I met a Tennessean girl named Mercy. Angel and Mercy, frigging ironic, right? You don’t know the half of it. Blood Legion MC is my legacy, and revenge against me is Mercy’s. … is my legacy, and revenge against me is Mercy’s. If you’re looking for gritty star-crossed lovers in the Crescent City, you’ve found it. Because there’s a damn good chance one of us won’t make it out of here alive.
MERCY
I’m at the mercy of my menfolk. Mercy . . . ironic, isn’t it? Because my cousin and my uncle show no mercy to me, despite my name. I’m used against my will. I’m beaten and worse when I don’t behave. I have no freedom, only one friend, and no chance of escape even though New Orleans is so vibrant I feel like I could touch the colors.
I fled the compound for just one night. I shouldn’t have. I met a biker called Angel—Angel. He’s blond as a seraph, but big and tall and full of sweet talk I’ve never heard before. Except he’s my family’s enemy.
Angel can’t be my only hope because my kin have vowed to take out him and the rest of the Blood Legion MC in one big Tenn-tucky blaze of glory.

Cry Mercy will get your heart pumping… perfect start to a new series! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Angel & Mercy are our first lovers in this new MC series from Rie Warren. The Blood Legion MC are going to grip your heart and go all in! These men are rowdy and lethal. Give me more!
Cry Mercy is full of alpha males and strong women. MC prez Angel discovers he’s attracted to the neice of a rival gang. This book picks up shortly after the end of the Bad Boys of X-Ops series and welcomes familar faces along with new members and a new lease on the right side of the law. The club is a family and it’s obvious in the good natured ribbing between the guys and their protectiveness towards women. With that being said – this book does contain potential triggers regarding abuse/non-consensual sex but I feel Rie handles it well and offers to reveal spoilers herself at the beginning if you would like before reading. I’m not a fan of typical dark romances but Cry Mercy tends to hover just on the edge of dark without completely crossing that line. I loved being able to immerse myself in another one of Rie Warren’s MC stories and can’t wait to read the next installment in the Blood Legion MC and revisit one of my favorite cities, New Orleans
Have you ever heard of Romeo and Juliet? Yeah, well that’s a pretty story compared to Mercy’s reality. Her “family” has only one use for women whether you are family or not. If she tries to fight back … she can’t run for good or the other women will suffer. But one night, just one night away. She escaped knowing I’d come back hopefully before my uncle realized I was gone.
Angel was tired. They’d lost good brothers and he still had to keep it together. He didn’t know how until she walked in. She wasn’t wearing skimpy or sharp clothes. No FM heels. But she got his attention and every man in there. He was the first to reach her. A few drinks and who knew.
Angel and Mercy had a great time. She was different. He didn’t want her to leave. He wanted more. No way was he leaving her there.
Can Angel and the MC rescue Mercy? What about the devils that have her? The enemy of not only the club but everyone who didn’t match their beliefs.
These two are meant to be together and even though it seems impossible you are gonna cheer them on. Two people who deserve happiness. The MC brothers are a riot but dangerous. The reader even gets reminded of Angel’s big (and I mean big) brothers from an earlier series. The steam is over the top.
You won’t want to stop reading until the end and then you’ll want more.
