When I ran into Liz, I knew she was trouble.
Lucky for me I like trouble.
She pushed my buttons and reminded me of someone I’d rather forget.
When our paths keep crossing, I know I need to walk away from her.
That’s not what happens though.
I’m drawn to her in the worst ways.
I want nothing more than to see her cry.
No, I want her to cry for me.
Wow,I’m speechless! This book is so deliciously wicked/dark and sweet at the same time, you just can’t stop reading. You’re wondering what’s going to happen next or did I just read this? That’s my reaction to this book, I so need more of this series. Thank You Author Erin M Trejo For giving me this scrumptious series.
Extremely happy with this one, disappointed its the last in the series. Knox is a character I have a love/hate relationship to. But I love how all the females are strong and sassy and keep them in line! The storyline keeps you reading until you finish. Erins characters are complex and unpredictable. I found myself talking out loud while reading lol. Definitely read this series, you wont be disappointed!

Great book!!
4.6
Liz and Knox are in a bad place , Liz because she saw her mom killed and Knox because of his girlfriends suicide.
Liz challenges him and together they may finally heal and stop running.

Cry for Me is a disappointing conclusion to the Alder Academy trilogy. I loved this series when it first came out, seriously, I 5 starred book 1! This one just missed the mark for me. I think if it was a little bit longer, and the character development for Knox and Liz was a little bit more flushed out, I would have enjoyed it a lot more. I’m all for bully romances but Knox is just downright abusive, physically and emotionally, in this book. Whisper is prominent in this book but Shane is practically MIA. I’m not sure why either, there was plenty of opportunity for her to be in more scenes in this book. The Alder brother drama was mostly concluded at the end of book 2, so this book had some new and seemingly random drama that seemed very out of place to the overall story arch of the series. I would have also loved to see an epilogue at the end. I did like the end of this particular book, but seeing as it is the end to the entire series and down the road update would have been good as to all of the characters in the series.
My sexy man how I waited patiently for
You and this book and you never failed me. His darkness calls to
My soul.. my name is Mrs. Knox

Amazing! I love to read books from Erin Trejo. Cry For Me is the third book in the Alder Academy series. This is Knox and Liz’s story. Knox is one of the infamous Alder brothers. Liz is on the run after witnessing the murder and now hiding in a new town. This story tells the heart wrenching past of these two characters. Their chemistry is freaking hot and intense. Life has a way of bringing stuff from the past, that changes the future. Can they survive more? I think that Knox is my favorite Alder brother. What an amazing ending to the Alder Academy trilogy. Keep up the amazing work! I can’t wait to read your next book.
The Alder men always get what they want and Knox Alder wants Liz the new girl .This cocky Alder brother wasn’t expecting Liz to be a feisty female but she been through so much in her life she’s not sure about giving into Knox(like she has a choice)The chemistry between this two is to strong to ignore, sad to see this series end

This series is so good! Loved all the characters since book 1, but for some reason Knox is my fave! His book was so good and I am sad the series has come to an end. A series definitely worth reading.
Great book, gripping story and easy to love characters.
Good story line, didn’t nothing any grammatical errors but was totally gripped so wouldn’t notice.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This is a bully romance and Knox fulfills that part to the T.
Liz comes to town tired of being on the run, hoping she’d found a place they wouldn’t find her and that she would be safe, but the danger follows her. When Knox sets his sites on her, she tries to ignore him but he refuses to be ignored.
For most of the book Knox isn’t very likeable, he’s rude, aggressive and cruel. He hates her but that doesn’t stop him from going after her. He purposely embarrasses her and touches her sexually in public with no regards for her wishes. They have ‘hate sex’ and for most of the book I felt no connection at all between these characters and just didn’t get it.
BUT.. there were these special moments of insight into Knox’s that gave me a glimmer of what drove Knox and what he was trying to do with Liz. I kept hoping that glimmer would expand and develop but it would just fall back to his bully behavior without a corresponding sense of caring and left me feeling more uncomfortable than invested with this couple.
Liz is a survivor, she starts off not taking Knox’s crap and fights him but it does her no good, she
caves in every time. The physical takes over and she seems to have no control over her body’s reaction to Knox. He brings out her tears, he wants them and will take them from her.
There are some great moments in this story but there are also these moments leaving me confused as a reader. These characters are suppose to be adults going to college but several times I felt like I was reading about high school bullies and locker room antics, then there’s the flip side as Knox appears to be trying help Liz deal with all the emotional and psychological trauma you’d expect from someone only significantly older and more experienced would be able to do.

I really want to love this book. The first two were really good but this one left me disappointed. I feel like there should have been an epilogue years down the road with how there lives ended up. Did Steele and Whisper get married have kids. What about Knox and Liz. the ending didn’t leave me happy.

This book will pull at your heart strings, Knox is the last brother in the series and honestly I thought he was going to end up with the chick from intensity, but nope he meets Liz and he gets off when he hurts her and when she gets.. it’s weird, yet sweet and loving in the same way. The Alder brothers seem like bully’s and don’t get me wrong they are but they all have a heart as well.

Couldn’t put it down!!! Loved this series!! Must read!
This was the perfect ending to an amazing trilogy. Once again I hated the main guy character Knox and adored the female Liz. I will say by the ending I was completely rooting for them. This book was very sexy, anxiety ridden and absolutely perfect. I adored the whole series and am so sad it’s over. The perfect bully series.

Erin Trejo does it again! It gets kind of repetitive, but it’s the truth! This is Knox’s story and boy is he a hot mess. For me, he’s a lot easier to hate than the other two because I went back and forth between really feeling for him and wanting to punch him. See how Erin does things? Liz at times had me worried because I wasn’t sure she could handle Knox, but eventually you can see what Liz offers that Knox needs. Yes, Knox needs a lot. You’re going to have to read the story! Damn, I absolutely loved this book and series!!

Erin Trejo has given us characters we love to hate. This book is the middle brother Knox’s story. Knox finds in Liz someone he wants to hurt, punish, humiliate, push away, and make her cry…..for him. And he does all that to Liz. She is running for her life, wants to stay under the radar, but that’s impossible with being in Knox’s sight. But, Liz is strong, sassy, and not going to bend totally to Knox’s will. The book has great flow, cringy moments, a ton of heat, and some great twists and turns. This is the last of the Alder brothers to find his one and only and well worth the read.

Knox is my absolute favorite. He’s complicated but not really. Sure this is Liz and Knox story but out of the two Knox shines.
Liz can’t stay in one place. She’s hiding out but Whisper made friends with her and she has no where to go. Fort “Knox” has locked up his heart, luckily Liz figured out the combination and these two embark on a back and forth tug of war where the winners get rid of their horrible pasts and learn that love doesn’t have to be bad, in fact it can be very, very good for their healths.
The banter, the protective ways, these brothers are just too much to pass up. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
Holy cow, what an AMAZING ending to this series!! I absolutely love the Alder men and their sassy, strong women!! I really didn’t want this series to end but I’m so happy with how it did!!
I was introduced to Erin Trejo during a co-write. I instantly became a fan of her writing style. In my opinion, the darker the better and she hasn’t disappointed at all. I’m now a lifer of Erin’s and can’t wait for more of her words!! You rock babe!!
This is the third and final book in this series. And just like the others it did not let you down.
Liz is running and doesn’t know who she can trust. She doesn’t want to fall for Knox he is arrogant, bossy, and thinks he can control everything and everyone around him.
Knox has his own demons that he is dealing with and the last thing he wants is to settle down or at least until he meets Liz. Liz challenges him at every turn. And he hates but loves it. But he wants all of her, especially her tears.
They have to learn to trust each other and to work together to be able to stay together, can they do it? Will Liz stick around? Will Knox want her to?
