“A cross between Mary Higgins Clark and Betty Crocker.”—Baltimore Sun“The Julia Child of mystery writers.”—Colorado Springs Gazette TelegraphNo one cooks up a tastier stew of murder, mystery, and mayhem than New York Times bestselling author Diana Mott Davidson. Entertainment Weekly calls her “today’s foremost practitioner of the culinary whodunit.” And now it’s Crunch Time, as Davidson’s … culinary whodunit.” And now it’s Crunch Time, as Davidson’s delightful series protagonist, caterer and amateur sleuth-extraordinaire Goldy Schulz, digs into a deadly smorgasbord that includes a heaping helping of murder, a double dose of arson…and nine adorable beagle puppies!

Great characters.
Love her books and recipes!
The usual formula-based Diane Mott Davidson culinary mystery…and the recipes are very good!
Diane Mott Davidson is the reason I started reading cozy Mystery’s. She is a wonderful writer. She has great story lines and involves you in the story from the beginning. I wish she was still writing. And the recipes at the end were fantastic and have become family favorites.
All of Davidson’s books are good and entertaining. Includes recipes, which is why I read them because I enjoy cooking, however I find that most of them are too involved and too gourmet for the everyday cook
Love all her books!
Wish she would continue the series
Diane Mott Davidson’s “Goldy Bear Culinary” mystery series is one of my early favorites, and I’m sad that the author isn’t writing anymore. There were about 20 books in total, but this review is for #16, Crunch Time. This was the second or third cozy mystery series I took on, and only the second where I’ve been able to finish reading all books. …
Have so enjoyed Diane Mott Davidson’s books. Her books are enjoyable page turners with usually a surprise ending. Goldy Schultz is a wonderful caterer who happens to get involved with solving murders much to her husband’s dissatisfaction. Like the recipes, too.
I didn’t really like it. I thought it was confusing and drawn out. I have read every book in the series and I think except for a couple of good bits she should have stopped at 10.
Another great read from Diane Mott Davidson
read all her books
All of her books are great
I love books about “Goldy’s Catering”. I have been reading these books for years and I feel like I know the characters personally. There’s never a dull moment when Goldy is around. Very entertaining series
