I’ve got a secret. Savannah, Georgia is full of debutantes and greed. The Heirs own this town. They own me, too. I don’t know what I did to ruin what we had. But their kindness turned cruel almost a year ago. I was prepared to leave it all behind and start over at a new school. But Rogue Kelly, the king of the Heirs, ruined that. He doesn’t want me anymore but doesn’t want anyone else to have me … want anyone else to have me either. I know too much to be set free, but not enough to stay.
The Heirs aren’t through with me yet. And I crave their cruelty too much to give up now.
Authors’ Note: This is a bully romance with dark themes that may be triggering for some readers. Please read with caution.

Cruel introduced me to these two amazing authors and I am now officially hooked on the Savannah Heirs series. LOVE me some Rogue Kelly. Swoon. That man is to DIE FOR!! If you enjoy bully romance, you need to check this one out! Can be read as a standalone.
I absolutely loved this bully-lite (at least to me) book. The characters have a lot of dark going on but it didn’t overpower the book and instead you pretty quickly get to see how amazing they all are. I loved this book by two favorite authors.
WHAT AN AMAZING START TO A SERIES- NEW ADULT BULLY AND LOTS OF DARK SUSPENSE-YUMMY!
What can I say, Rogue Kelly is everything a bully is. This book has triggers please be advised.
Scarlett is so strong for putting up with the heirs and everything she has suffered. She was once their closest friend and the only girl or queen of their group. This book is full of angst, action, danger, mystery, and danger. Scarlett doesn’t give and continues on even when everything piles up on.
Hold on to your hats with this one ladies, it’s steamy and fast!
I enjoyed that this had an original twist to the whole bully romance trope.
I loved this book. Rogue and scarlet were my favorite. Hoping to see more of them in book #2 with Godfrey.
Those who are familiar with these authors know that they both write reverse harem novels. This book is not reverse harem.
I’ve previously read both of these authors, and I’ve really enjoyed them but in very different ways. CoraLee June’s work is unapologetically real and dark. She doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff. Most times it seems like she tries to seek out and shine a light on the darkest feelings inside ourselves and show them to the world. That’s the level of raw emotion that she evokes. Her writing entertains with sarcasm and wit. On the other hand, Raven Kennedy’s work is laugh out loud funny. What’s more, it’s real humour laced with sass and quick-witted deadpans. Her work tends to be lighter, on the face of it, but it still thoroughly cocoons you in a story so deeply that book hangovers are a very real consequence. So, to have these two authors who are, on the surface, very different team up to create a story, it’s basically like a social experiment that someone should sell popcorn and front row seats for.
Because the truth is, this book is that level of captivating. It pulls you in and doesn’t let you go, as it drops you straight into this bully romance. There’s little in the way of easing you into this story. You’re straight into story that starts pulling emotions from you at the outset, and there are times that you don’t know what to feel. Do you hate the Heirs? Like them? Pity them? The authors do tremendous job of replicating and evoking what Scarlett must be feeling in this circumstance of having her best friends suddenly turn on her, in which she still loves them and hates them at the same time. The same skill the authors use to churn your feelings also goes into the conundrum that is Scarlett. She’s a strong character that has been heartbroken, brutally bullied and has to go against all sense of who she is because of her circumstance, all without losing a fighting spirit and sense of who she is. It makes you want to scream and rail for her, all while still wondering how you feel about the guys you are screaming and railing at.. That same level of high emotion Scarlett carries translates into some very sexy scenes. This book was fantastically written in skilful and seamless blend of two different styles that complement each other while thoroughly engrossing the reader in this dark, bully romance with a twist.
I thought that this book was really good. Well written. My heart ached for Scarlett for how everyone was treating her. I knew there had to be more to the story… And there was a lot more to the story!
Na. Bully Contemporary Romance. High school setting. Dual POV (it is mostly in Scarlet’s pov though) After a shunning from her best friends, the Heirs, Scarlet is pretty well tortured at school. What she doesn’t know is why they just started being mean to her. Angsty as **** that’s for sure. Love Scar and Rouge with all the angry hate sex. Loved the other Heirs too. Let me say this. Rouge Kelly was not a good name for the hero. It really turned me off it. When I read his full name (and there is A LOT of times), I just thought of R.Kelly, and golden shower are so not my thing. But other than that it was lovely angsty ride.
I read this book because I kept seeing it recommended in groups! Oh boy am I glad! It’s dirty, rough, awesome, intense and so much more! The story has so much more than the surface and as it progresses it sucks you in more! I want more of the Heirs now!!
This one started out strong but slowly fizzled for me. I love bully romances, but Scarlett forgave the heirs way too early. She was beyond weak and just didn’t give up. I understand she had a history with them and they all grew up together, but what they put her through and the reason why, just didn’t sit right with me. At some point you flip your tormentors the bird and move on with your life – not Scarlett – she lapped up every little bit of attention they threw her way. The ending felt rushed and was wrapped up way too neatly in a tight little bow. I find it hard to believe that there was never any blow back on them for how it all went down…I just felt like there were pieces missing and things that never got resolved. I finished it but won’t be going back for more.
Writing is great. Page one sucked me in and won’t let go. Read this book in less than a day and loved it.
