Wow! Where do I begin? I bought the book as I was drawn in by the title and gripping cover. the story revolves around DI Lorne Simkins and her team, who are trying to catch a murderer of women. Some of the descriptions are very graphic, shocking me on quite a few occasions. Lorne herself is a great officer, who is struggling to juggle her personal …

Great story
Great book!
The only drawback for me, I didn’t understand a lot of the British words/slang.
This was a real page turner I thoroughly enjoyed!
Kept me interested

Scary and thought-provoking. I may never hike again.
Enjoyed entire series
great read
Was action packed and I didn’t know who the bad guys were til they figured it out. Well written and will have to now buy Book 2. Sorry, I just don’t go into a lot of detail about the Book. I will say….I recommend it…A very good read.
This was a great read, suspenceful, keeps your attention, surprise ending.
Keeps you interested
Read it on the way to Italy last month. Good read.
I didn’t have a lot of sympathy for the lead character. Her relationship with her family and the pathologist made her unlikeable to me
I started with this first book and was happy I did. There is never a dull moment in the life of these officers. It’s great to be able to continue with the story of their lives and never be disappointed. At this point I’m on book five and look forward to the continuing story. I must say it’s great that Justice prevails with Lorne and company.
